We had a late reservation and I wasn't sure what would be available at that point. Our waitress was wonderful. The food was good: a perfectly cooked steak. The ambiance is nice. We enjoyed a wine flight and got desserts to go. After the restaurant closes you can still have drinks at the bar just outside the door. And if you are staying as a guest you can take your drinks back to your room. All in all a very pleasant experience for an easy romantic weekend.

There are better choices in town. Stayed at the hotel many times, but my last meal was not good. Ordered a wedge salad that was drenched in bad blue cheese dressing.

The restaurant is inside the Hilton Garden Inn and I was not sure what to expect . I have to say it was an extremely pleasant experience. The food was top notch and our server was friendly and had great recommendations. The atmosphere was pleasant and prices were reasonable. I will make this a stop again when I am back in the area .

This is actually the Hilton Garden Inn's restaurant. The portobello sandwich was very good. I had the lemon pepper haddock, which was nicely done as well. The food is mainly standards, but expertly prepared.

Very cozy small dining room with attached bar room and additional outdoor seating. Its located in the Garden Inn Hilton hotel. It was a bit confusing knowing how to get seated in the restaurant as you enter it through the bar and there is nothing to indicate that the doorway to your right is the restaurant entrance. We actually saw a server come out of it and thought it was the kitchen. Standing confused for a short time, someone noted and pointed us in the right direction. The food is standard American fare, but very delicious. I had a very savory tomato bisque soup with a wedge salad loaded with sugared pecans, cherry tomatoes, and slices of cut-up bacon (not the hard crumbled bacon). Great, friendly service and quiet, intimate surroundings.

Servers were a delight but be prepared for an awful meal. The steak au poivre was far too over seasoned with pepper mixed with a dijon sauce to the point where the dish is inedible. The servers kindly substituted with the Tuscan chicken which proved the extreme opposite, with bland rubbery chicken and artichokes obviously taken from a can and thrown onto a plate with slightly warmed pasta with spinach water and a splash of olive oil. Only a few bites were enough to call it quits.

My wife's seafood broil was very good. My hamburger was a bit overcooked. Overall, the food was good, but not exceptional. Our server was friendly but disappeared at the end of the meal. I definitely recommend this place if you are already staying at the Hilton Garden Inn as the restaurant is connected to the HGI. This is also one of the few restaurants in Auburn open on Tuesdays and taking reservations.

This place is certainly a hidden gem as far as restaurants go. We wanted to go to dinner on a night when most everything in Auburn is closed, so we happen to go online and search restaurants were open on Tuesday nights the Hilton Garden Inn restaurant, Refinery Modern Fare. There were six of us and everything was excellent. This restaurant is definitely tops on our list for any night.

Three of us enjoyed Willie's for a night out with dinner and drinks/wine. The food was delicious, but it was impossible for us to finish a whole meal. One of the party ordered from the starters/small plates, and she was able to finish her food. The tomato soup was delicious, as were the short ribs I had. As we were there on a Tuesday night and there were a few empty tables [we had reservations], but we were allowed to sit and chat without being rushed. This is a place I would definitely return to when I next visit my friend who lives near to it.
