The Inn was very quiet and comfortable. It is very close to public access of the lake and is also near many restaurants and wineries, including downtown Auburn. The breakfast wasn't much, so manage your expectations there.

We recently stayed at the Inn while visiting our daughter. We were very pleased with everything from booking our rooms to enjoying a good night's sleep. Rooms were beautifully furnished. The quietest nights ever away from home! Everything was clean and well kept. Enjoyed the continental breakfast as well. Will definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience having our wedding at the Springside Inn. Christine was so attentive at every step along the way, answering all of my million questions right away. She also worked so hard all day the day of or wedding, as did all of the staff. The Springside staff set up all of our memorial items, guest book, and other items we wanted displayed, and took it all down for us afterward. The ceremony in the grove was incredibly beautiful and went so smoothly. Dinner was delicious, the reception space in the ballroom was perfect. We received so many compliments from our guests about how wonderful everything was. It was so nice to be able to stay right at the inn in the bridal suite the night of the wedding. Would highly recommend Springside for weddings!

My review is less glowing than others. The service was exceptional...the room not so much. Many reviewers speak about how nice and quaint the inn is. I disagree. The inn is noisy and in need of bathroom expansion and modernization. The windows were filthy.

Daughter had her Junior prom here in Heritage ballroom. It was beautiful. The staff was very courteous and helpful to the students. I'd recommend it. My daughter said food was delicious, too.

The food is great the service is non existent. We were there for Easter and Mother's day brunch. No one came to our table to ask if we wanted drinks. We had to flag a girl down to get coffee. I would not have left one dollar for a tip if it was up to me.

Our daughter, Jacqui married her love James, in late September 2024 at Springside Inn, Auburn NY. We met Chris, the wedding/event coordinator, in September 2023, when we started our process of searching wedding venues. Springside Inn was our first appointment, and even though we followed through with our other visits, we knew Springside Inn was the venue for us. After we set the date with Chris, she was available to guide us through all the details we needed to complete. I have never met such a warm, knowledgeable, calming, and accessible person.
Jacqui and James wedding was a weekend event. Chris and the Springside team was part of every event during our weekend. We booked Springside's beautiful and charming rooms for the bride and groom and bridal party. Our rehearsal dinner was in one of the their dining spaces. The Catering team were amazing. The food was delicious and beautiful. The service was impeccable! The catering team provided lunch for the bridal party on the day of the wedding. The food and service continued to be top notch for the cocktail hour, Jacqui and James's appetizers in their bridal room, and the reception dinner. We also had a Smores station on their back patio.
For the finale on Sunday, the Springside catering team brought "the farewell" brunch to our lake house! The brunch foods were delicious with professional and warm service by the catering team. Yes Springside Inn also caters to off-site homes or premises! Springside Inn took care of every detail so that my husband and I were able to enjoy every aspect of our daughter's wedding weekend.

This is our new favorite place to stay for our anniversary! It was magical. Felt like we were in a Christmas card when we drive up and it was like A White Christmas inside ♥️🎄 The owners were very welcoming and warm. They helped us with our television and gave wonderful restaurant recommendations. It’s old, but VERY well maintained with all the modern accommodations: WiFi, A/C (though we didn’t need it in December — 2 mini splits in our apartment), a perfect little nook with a sink and Keurig and fridge, and a beautiful bathroom with a shower and huge tub, beautifully tiled. We had our own sitting room with a fireplace (not working, but such great atmosphere). The shared areas are gorgeous and elegant, but quaint. We will be back many times, I’m sure, with family.

I stayed here multiple times while traveling for work. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and the inn is beautiful. Sean and Beth are absolutely amazing hosts! I felt like I was a part of their family each time I visited. This is by far my favorite place to stay in Auburn, I would highly recommend!
