Salvatore's Old Fashioned Pizzeria

A week and a half ago I placed an online order for a large cheese and pep and mozzarella sticks. They called me and told me they were out of the mozzarella sticks so I got fries instead.
Took 2 hours for our delivery to get here, when it arrived the pizza was a cold sloppy mess that we couldn’t even eat. At this point everything is pretty much closed. We called to speak to the owner / manager and he was very rude, arguing with us and making excuses for the situation. After much debate on his part he reluctantly agreed to give us a free pizza for the mistake.
Last night we decided to cash in on the free pizza, we called to order and I asked for thicker crust with lite sauce, how I originally ordered it. The owner refused to do the thicker crust. We had originally got delivery and paid the fee, they wouldn’t deliver this one which i understand. Then he wanted us to pay for the pepperoni topping which was what we originally got. Was very rude about the whole situation didn’t once say sorry about before or anything. Was clearly trying to haggle any money he could from us.
Went and picked up the pizza, they didn’t apologize or say anything to me about the mess up.
When we got home the pizza was absolutely disgusting. I checked when we left the store and from looks it looked okay. It was undercooked you could taste that the cheese wasn’t all the way cooked. Myself and my boyfriend only ate one slice each because it was so disgusting.
At this point I am just never going to order from this location again and not even bother calling to speak to the owner after what happened before.
I manage a pizza place myself and it’s beyond me that the owner was arguing with a customer over their mistake, was trying to haggle money out of us, clearly wasn’t sorry or trying to make the customer happy. The customer may not always be right but they are always the customer. I’d think that when a store is under new management they would want to keep customers happy and coming back.
Overall a disappointing experience at this location and will not order from here and I will tell people not to order from this location.

They've changed hands, the pizzas still very good. There's lots of items on the menu to choose from. The service is wonderful and very friendly people.

Had an issue with the Honeoye fall Location tonight put in information they have my pizza delivered to the house, but their computer auto generated it to an old address went back-and-forth with the HFL store telling me I could have a pizza that was 40 minutes old and it was too late for them to make a new one they said my pizza was out for delivery to the wrong address that they had on file but my email says different and then I called the store 40 minutes after my pizza was out for delivery and they told me it was still sitting there. I could come pick it up. I asked them to remake it because I put my information incorrectly. They told me it was not Their problem and it falls on me and that there was nothing they were gonna do other than refund my money which they did.
I immediately called the Avon location and they went above and beyond staying open late past their time of operating hours to make me a fresh pizza as long as I could go there and pick it up. This store has earned a lot of respect from me as a customer they have on location did not have to do what they did but they went the extra mile and they made sure that I was taken care of as a customer. The food was excellent. It was fresh. It was hot, friendly conversation and stayed open past business hours just make sure customer is taken care of. I can’t say enough good things Thank you. To this location and the team members that you have there by far compared to what I’ve been dealing with an HFL, my business will only come to this store going forward

Place an order for a calzone for pick up and when I come to get it at the time I place the order I get told it’s gunna be 5 more minutes and then wait for 15 till it’s ready. This has happen more then once on Wednesday when the owner is not here

I’ve been ordering at least biweekly from this location for the past year. The food and service has been consistently good, but today (1/22/25) the food was immaculate! Whichever crew was on tonight did a great job in preparation and presentation of the food and hope continues going forward.

Manager has terrible customer service skills. He needs retraining badly. Will not return.

Brandon and Abu were amazing and friendly. Food portions were way more than we could eat. Definitely going back.

Not only did the employee Brandon take my order but also cooked my food! Awesome service and OMG he is an awesome cook! I always ask for him and I make sure I tip well! I definitely recommend Salvatore's Avon and Brandon to take care of my orders!

Parking: Convenient front door parking for 2 cars and close parking in the lot!

Ordered a calzone to split with my son. It is supposed to come with mozzarella, and then pick 2 additional toppings. Okay, Ricotta & Pepperoni. There was literally no mozzarella, very little ricotta and a few slices of pepperoni and was not cooked properly, kinda mushy bread and quite a bit of flour was dusted on the top. I have had the same calzone at Salvatore's in Webster and it was amazing, filled, slightly crispy top and bottom. We had also ordered subs a few weeks back from Avon Salvatore's and decided we would not do that again, and now this fail. Sadly, I do not think we will go back. The quality is just not there. Owner should take a serious look at QC and reviews before out of business. Hard to support local when just not good.

Just had a pepperoni delivered to my semi while I wait for a load here in avon. I eat pizza from all over the northeast and this is very good. They don't skimp on roni and cheese. Seems like quality stuff. Didnt receive it well done but would def order again.
