“Great, friendly service, including other patrons being friendly! Food has gone home cooked vibe including a wide range of choices for all meals and eaters. The atmosphere is a bit outdated but every corner is clean. This is a great local spot to stop for a hearty meal or light snack while you plan your busy day visiting the rich history of Avon or choosing your one of many local nature attractions. Try to make at the Avon Historian next door to the left. Everytime I visit I enjoy myself and learn a little more from the very engaging Historian!Kid-friendliness: Great family atmosphere for all ages!”

“Tom Wahl's has been a family happy place since we moved to Fingerlakes, NY in the mid 90's! The food is always exactly consistent so it is easy to have a personal favorite. The homemade root beer is not comparable! I only like root beer from Tom Whal's. Nothing short of a family favorite, and now couple favorite with our youngest being 28. Tom Wahl's is a community center in the form of free summer concerts.”

“My husband and I happened upon a small bag of Jamaican Me Happy at a winery during a visit to NY- it was love at first cup…first sniff, really haha. Since then, I’ve had to get my fix by ordering online. TWICE now, these lovely humans have upsized items in our online order, and thrown in amazing bonuses as well!! “Was in the area for the first time and looked up nearby breweries. My husband and I each tried a flight and there wasn’t a single beer we didn’t like from IPA, Sour, and a dark beer. Tried the nachos which were great. The brewery itself has a small upper deck, a fantastic picnic table area that is shaded and tons of grassy area. Hoping to get back this way again in the summer and will definitely visit.”

The fact that the owner basically runs the pizza shop by himself is impressive and has orders done in the time frame he states. Definitely will go here again. Be aware of Carter, he’s really the owner! He might just make the best pizza but he’s covered by marks insurance plan. The ops won’t catch him… ?‍? ”

“New to the Avon area and our local friend suggested Salvatore's, so we gave it a try. I'm lactose intolerant, so I was thrilled their wings were pretty damn good. I crushed 10 traditional wings? and most of the Antipasto salad?. Their garlic Parmesan sauce wasn't my favorite... but the blue cheese dressing was good.Lower marks due to my wife had to ask for a manager to get the order completed. Guess the kid that answered wasn't able to work the POS?”

“I hung the drywall here when it was built. But it is a fair gas station convenient location off exit 9 on interstate 390. A great stop for gas, food, car wash, snacks, and more. It's a truck stop as well. There is a free park and ride parking lot located next to the north entrance and a towing company and garage located in the rear .”

“This McDonald's deserves 5 stars and nothing less. First, let's start with the cones. This cone was high as Mt. Everest and I'm happy to climb every step of the way. Second, they're the only place open past 10:00 in Avon. Rolling up to the window and hearing a warm welcome from the friendly staff was like hearing a voice from heaven. Highly recommend. 5/5”

“So this is the peanut butter and jelly burger. Lots of bacon, burger cooked to perfection. It's a unique flavor. Everybody should try one. I'm pretty sure you'll either love it or I hate it, I don't think there's any in between. If you're looking for a restaurant where the food is a little outside the norm, this is your place. First time there, great weight staff definitely plan on going back. Cozy and comfy and not rushed.”

“This was our first time visiting Cosmic Charlie Cafe. We were looking for something different than the typical “chain” options and the minute we arrived we knew we were in a different but inviting spot. It reminded me of visiting a friend’s house in that the menu is a starting place but they are happy to make those items any way you want them. The food is excellent as a result. The atmosphere is very laid back and friendly. Highly recommended.”
