“We stopped at Puppy’s on our way through town because we thought they might be dog-friendly— we were right. It may not be an official policy, but the staff was very accommodating getting us set up outside with our pup. Great food, better people. So glad we visited!“
“Great old style hamburger joint. Full of color and positive energy. Food menu was full of choices to satisfy every tastebud. The original and walhburger are still my favorites. Before you go make sure to check out the great coupon offers (simple Google search) you will happy at what you find. The meat sauce has its own special taste, not too hot and not too sweet, just the perfect blend of flavor to add to your burger or dip your fries into.“
“I'll be kind. Food had pretty good flavor. Service was very slow. The dining area was very hot, humid & smelled like fish. It was busy prior to us but slowed down, as did the waiting staff. There was only 3 families in the dining room and people who came in after us had their food served first. Staff was very kind. It's is a "Family Restaurant" so be sure you have time to sit and visit and enjoy your meal.Parking: Plenty of parking available.Kid-friendliness: Yes very. Huge coloring book section and they have high chairs & booster seats available.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a tight fit coming in the door a couple of very tight 90° turns to get in plus holding open doors.“
“So this is the peanut butter and jelly burger. Lots of bacon, burger cooked to perfection. It's a unique flavor. Everybody should try one. I'm pretty sure you'll either love it or I hate it, I don't think there's any in between. If you're looking for a restaurant where the food is a little outside the norm, this is your place. First time there, great weight staff definitely plan on going back. Cozy and comfy and not rushed.“
“I was invited to attend a concert at Fanatics in Lima, NY, to see the Jazz group, The Howard Levy 4. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted very warmly by Norm and a few other regular customers. We arrived early to have a meal. We had chicken wings, two "garbage plates, and the beef and cheddar sandwich. We were all very pleased with our meals, which arrived timely and hot. The bar provides top shelf drinks as well. The live music is played in the back where there is ample seating. To see the bands, you buy tickets and have assigned seating. You can also order food and drinks in here as well. My husband the fried zucchini with ranch, which he enjoyed. I opted for the decadent and very sweet, snicker peanut butter pie with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate. Delish! Fanatics reminds me of a "cheers" bar where everyone seems to know your name. Fanatics is a gem in this village of Lima!“
“Last minute decision turned into a delightful evening. We had deviled eggs and red steamed shrimp to start. Southern Fish Fry and Steak & Frites for our dinner. Delicious food, wonderful service (ask for Sydney!!!) and a cozy atmosphere.“
“Terrific service!! Excellent meal!! Had the Tempura Shitake Deep Fried Mushrooms with a Sesame Ginger Sauce and entrees were spot on. One complaint was we sat down to the table the glasses were dirty and unpolished water was still poured and served in them anyway.“
“This place is a local legend. I had the occasion to try it finally and I can see why. Friendly service, generous portions, reasonable wait time. I ordered a steak sub that was prepared just right - fixings were perfect, steak well-seasoned and juicy. Luckily they had an open table where I could hang out and enjoy my edible work of art! I thought the office was also on par and reasonable as well. I'll be back for sure.“
“We walked into Dirty Dave's not knowing what to expect, we got our menus and the first thing g that struck me were the prices, so far good start. We ordered our drinks then our food, I ordered the New York strip, with fries and mac salad. My wife ordered the fish fry, my nephew got the Buffalo chicken wrap with onion rings.I'll start with the steak. The flavor was out of this world, savory delicious, the steak was so tender I didn't need a knife to cut it. I'd call it perfect, found no fault there, the Mac salad was some of the best I've ever had, the fries also perfect. Crispy outside, tender and fluffy inside. My nephew loved his onion rings and wrap, and my wife's fish fry was so big she had to take some with her. All in all, we had just about the perfect experience at Dirty Daves.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, great prices and great service. The worst thing Dirty Dave's could do is fire their cook. We will be going back.“
“Love this little diner. Food is awesome, service is fast and this place is always crowded. We tried to get here by nine and it was packed at that time. We did get a table and if you'd like, you can sit at the 'bar,' a long line of stools attached to a long table kind of like at a bar. They take cash or credit, phone orders for pick up. Cozy, nice atmosphere, kind of loud at times. I had the Mediterranean omelet, my kids had different variations of eggs, bacon or sandwiches and my husband had an Irish Eggs Benedict.“
“We were traveling on I-90 and Google searched for fine dining restaurant. We found the Village Inn, and made the short detour from the interstate to Caledonia. It was well worth it. We had high expectations given the high Google ratings, yet the food and service still exceeded our expectations.“
“I was supposed to come here with a friend but he's sick so it's a good thing I like dining solo just fine. I went right after they opened and there were several tables there already. Maybe Solar Eclipse traffic??? I was greeted right away-from across the room actually. I think it was the manager because he made the rounds to the tables asking how everything was later on. I started off with a lemon sour. Delicious. Never had one but if you're looking for a sweet drink this ain't it. It was on special. I was delivered bread with honey butter, pickles and hummus. I thought that was weird but it was actually so good on the bread. I had a piece of Italian bread, some onion bread and probably focaccia. The bread plate was insane-I could have just had bread there and been happy. I ordered a wood fired pizza. I mean that's in the name so that's what I got. It was pretty good. The sauce is on the spicy side. Just enough heat to wake up your tastebuds but not so uncomfortable that your mouth is on fire. I heard the table next to me also was talking about the spice of one of their dishes and talking about their nose running when things are spicy...same girl, same. And my nose was a little runny. I wish the pepperoni had been cup and char but that may have put that pizza over the top with having such a robust sauce. I did indulge in dessert. Against my better judgement because I full! But luckily my dessert stomach stepped her ass up to the plate and took one for the team. I do not think the dessert selection is that fantastic. I think every dessert has some chocolate in it except for the crème brûlée so if you're not a chocolate person, there's not a whole lot to choose from. I really wanted the coconut cake, but that had chocolate ganache on it, and the oatmeal cake just sounded unappealing so I passed on those. The crème brûlée was really good. My server was really good. I can't complain. It's a good place to eat-worth the drive and I liked the atmosphere. I found it to be a little drafty though and I noticed others keeping their coats on. I didn't have a coat so I was a bit chilly the whole meal. Good drink selection, not many appetizers though not that you'll need them. They encourage plate sharing. The pizzas are quite big especially for one!!“
“Friendly, historical family style diner that has a laid-back and welcoming feel. They have beer and make alcoholic beverages as well as great food to pair. Beer could be served off the tap if you prefer. Friendly staff. One of the other patrons offered to buy us a drink, whichever was a nice gesture. Will be back as I would like to experience their fish fru days.“
“Great rural diner. You will not be ripped off! Above average portions, fresh coffee, good service. Only complaint is that the are closed on Monday and Tuesday, so we had to go to Leroy for breakfast. Went twice in one week, keep up the good work.“
“It's a good ole fashioned diner and I love that! The food is spectacular, the atmosphere is nostalgic and the service is unapologetically like being at an old friend's house (in friendly familiarity only ... they don't tell you to go get your own refills or anything LOL). The prices vs. quality of food are incredible. You'll pay much more at a chain and not leave as satisfied in gut or experience.“
“Dietary restrictions: They had gluten and dairy free options on the menu. Not labeled as such but knowing my allergy restrictions I was easily able to find something I could eat. The prime rib is absolutely amazing!!! I definitely recommend trying it! I got breakfast there as well and that was delicious!!!Parking: Nice open parking lot with plenty of parking in front for the hotel customers and restaurant customers. Parking is also available along side of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the bottom floor, double doors upon entry to the lobby. Tables are available to accommodate wheelchair seating.“
“I was blown away by the food ! I did a simple Google search of restaurants nearby and decided to pick this place thinking cute diner food will be average, so glad I was wrong. Everything was delicious was so shocked that a small place and in my "city" opinion in the middle of nowhere lol had probably some of the best food I've had. My mother got the chicken dumplings great flavor. I order the homemade meatloaf outstanding. My girlfriend order the Whipple plate I'm not sure what's on it but wow !! Loved it . Also order there French onion soup and me and girlfriend both agree probably top 1-2 we ever had and my girlfriend definitely orders it at every restaurant we go to haha. W been talking about already coming back since we started driving home haha . If near here definitely a must“
“My family and I had the pleasure of dining at the 3-legged pig this afternoon and it was wonderful. I had the pulled pork plate with cole slaw and salt potatoes. It was all delicious! I also took home half an order of ribs to enjoy tomorrow. Can’t wait to try them! The waitresses were very attentive and gave us all the time we wanted to enjoy or meal with the family. I would highly recommend them and, for the life of me, can’t understand how anyone could possible give them a bad review. Everything was great….including the 70’s music playing in the background. Hope I get the chance to come back again soon!“
“The best beer selection in town. A must-go for visitors. Great bartenders. Obviously the twisted tavern wings are amazing (undefeated best in the valley), and the mooshu egg rolls are delicious. But if it's Friday, always go for the beer battered fish fry. The side of veggies balances so well and they have perfect cole slaw.Edit to add: also very cool to look up the history of the tavern, originally called Hill's Tavern - amazing to realize people have been walking through that door for over 100 years!“
“We were driving through the South Henrietta area and ready for some tasty food, so a quick Google search brought up the Fireside Grill & Sports Bar with top ratings, so we stopped in. The restaurant immediately gave us a positive vibe with friendly accommodating staff. We sat at a high top table in the bar area where the gang who were belly up to the bar were having fun together. The main restaurant is large and also nicely decorated. We ordered two of the many flavored options of wings, and they were large and perfectly cooked. We also ordered two different gluten-free cauliflower crust pizzas, each with delicious sauces and toppings. We will definitely return to further explore the menu options!Dietary restrictions: The gluten-free cauliflower pizza crust is delicious!“
“My husband and I are soooo glad we stopped here. Tripadvisor reviews showed this place has great service; and they were not wrong. Great service, with personable staff - which makes a place all worth it! The food was really good as well. I do recommend the burgers (as mine was cooked perfectly to my liking). Overall, I'm thrilled with this little pub and would stop here again and again were I in the area. And really, chat up the hosts...such great ppl!“
