“My husband and I are originally from Kansas City and have had many bbq let downs since moving to Upstate NY. However, The Normal absolutely did NOT disappoint. We were blown away with how good everything was. A little more tangy and vinegary than KC style but it was really excellent. “When i first came here, i wasn't too impressed with the food. After coming a few times, the place has grown on me, and i really enjoy it now. I know they made some changes somewhat recently, and since then, the food has been incredible. They have great specials all the time and staff is extremely friendly. “This little place is a knock out. We stop down alot for our BBQ fix. This trip we lucked out, they started up their Smoked Corned Beef which they will have thru St Patty’s Day. The best corned beef I’ve ever had by far…juicy, tender, with an awesome smoky flavor. I highly recommend and am begging them to put it on the menu…coming back for a pound of that stuff.“
