Decided to celebrate a special occasion so we chose this place. We had dined here before the current management and had great experiences. We informed the host that this was our first encounter here and were looking forward to it. We were seated in a VERY noisy area (we are older and most older folks appreciate a quieter dining environment usually). However, we were moved to a quieter table upon request. we came in Last Saturday and had Ruth as a server, just wanna say how wonderful she was. Excellent service!!! Super kind hearted woman, it was an absolute pleasure to dine with her!!!
We just had lunch there. The view was beautiful, but Bob ordered a bloody Mary very spicy and it didn’t say that. Then we ordered a Reuben and it was spicy. I’ve never heard of a spicy Reuben. I ordered the muscles. They were extremely spicy and on the menu it doesn’t says a it says potatoes and other things in the muscles, but didn’t get them in extremely spicy. The good one was our waitress was very nice. It wasn’t her. It was the chef would I go again no.

Galene offers a nice atmosphere in an excellent location overlooking Conesus Lake. The food is great, including dishes such as deviled eggs, red steamed shrimp, Southern Fish Fry, Steak & Frites, and scallops au gratin. The service is wonderful, with attentive and friendly staff. The restaurant also serves top-notch cocktails, including the best espresso martini. Galene has a lovely setting on the north end of Conesus Lake, with a charismatic team of servers. The menu features local favorites, such as Dr. Constantine Frank's Gruner wine, Prince Edward Island oysters, and house-made pastas. The kitchen was timely and the menu was lean, though above average. The peel and eat shrimp was great. Shrimp salad was incredible. Fried to perfection! The steak frites was solid.
The restaurant offers a fun night out, with a bustling atmosphere even on a Saturday night. The staff, including waitresses Maleena and Michaela, are attentive and charming, going above and beyond to make the experience special. The menu features delicious options like the Argentina steamed shrimp, whipped feta and beets starter, Gnocchetti And Clams, and a rich chocolate cake with ganache for dessert. Customers have also enjoyed the cocktails, including multiple tiki and tiki-inspired drinks. Overall, Galene provides a wonderful waterfront dining experience with delectable food and friendly service.
