“Jack, Ken and Steph’s Breakfast Review took us to Lakeville, NY to the Lakeville Family Restaurant. A family owned diner that is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Small diner but very clean and bright with a nautical theme. Amy the waitress was super friendly and kept the coffee coming. Breakfast was delicious. Chris makes a delicious omelette. The hash was from a can but it was super crispy the way hash should be. The portions were good and the price was fair. I didn’t mention how delicious the coffee was. Ken paid forward for a Veteran’s breakfast. So, if you’re in Lakeville and it’s breakfast time, stop in and eat here !!!”
“I stopped for an iced black coffee while passing through and it was fantastic. Tool home a freshly ground bag of coffee to make at home and it is some of the best coffee ever.”

“Such great, mouth watering burgers! With three boys this made for full happy bellies! Wings are big too! My favorite though is the fried veggies as I’m a vegetarian and would not have thought they’d even be on the menu!?!? Spring & summertime fun too??? Win, win, and win!!! Would highly recommend!”

“New to the area and this pizzeria was suggested to us. We ordered a sheet pizza on July 4th ( which other restaurants sometimes won't do) with a pick up at 3 pm. Walked in at 3:00, pizza was done and piping hot. Everyone at the party devoured the pizza and not one piece left lol. Will definitely order again from this pizzeria!”

“Walked here from vitale park. When you walk in, you can see the slices available. There was pepperoni and cheese slices in there. We ordered one cheese slice, one pep slice, mottz sticks, cheese garlic bread, fried dough bites, chicken tenders and fries. The wall paper is literally peeling off the walls at the seams, and curling around. The younger girl that took my order was good at her job. Well when the slices came out, they put cupped pepperoni on plain cheese pizza that wasn’t anywhere near fresh, no one came in after I ordered, so idk if they have a pizza in the back and keep the one up front for looks or what but the pizza was sub par. The mottz sticks taste like they just came out of a freezer, and the fried dough bites were lacking powdered sugar. I’ve had a decent share of good expierences with pizza Paul’s, but this tine wasn’t good.”

“First time there. Recommended by my friends. Took the lady of the house out for her Birthday, . Very satisfied, with the service and food. Bathrooms very clean and well kept. Great atmosphere. Had the pizza and Mahi Mahi. Alos the steak salad, Just remember to say how you like your meat. Or it will be served on the rare side. Will surely good back without hesitation.”
“This was an excellent experience. I’ve been here before but it’s been a couple years so it deserves a review. The staff were super friendly and there is a wine for every pallet. I cannot say enough about our lunch. We truly enjoyed it! I had the Dill Pickle Flatbread and my wife had the apple and brie salad. Both were exceptional. We also enjoyed the dry rose during our meal which was easy to drink and delicious.
We then grabbed a bottle on the way out and enjoyed a glass on their porch while relaxing in rocking chairs. The garden in front was beautiful and made for a perfect venue to sit and enjoy a moment of peace.
This was a great experience from start to finish. I haven’t been there since they opened the cafe and I enjoyed every bite and can’t wait to try more of the menu. Even though most tables were full our meal was out in a reasonable time which is always appreciated.
Thank you to our waiter Dylan and the rest of the staff for providing excellent service and making the day so memorable. We’re looking forward to our next visit. 🙏”

“Our group of 6 had a wonderful experience last night for dinner. My wife and I had a full rack of their St. Louis pork ribs smothered in lingonberry BBQ sauce. The meat was perfectly cooked with a soft pull apart tenderness that left a clean bone. The sauce was great; if you like lightly sweetened lingonberries, you're going to love this. We also had an order of smoked cauliflower which was new to us. It was tasty and novel, almost like a meaty veggie. We also had pit beans and potato salad. All yummy and way too much so we brought a bunch of it home. So A+ on the food. Other highlights include friendly service (it wasn't busy so we had engaging conversations with the manager/server/host? - wish I had asked more about her role); overall aesthetic (nice old converted building with brick walls and high tin ceiling) and design theme (LOVE the 20th sci-fi comic book look); ordering simplicity (via QR code and Toast app, though it took our older friends a moment to figure it out); and beer choices (including Surly, from Minneapolis (we've visited their brewery - it's big and fun)). Great location with easy parking. Excellent experience all around. Highly recommended!”
“It was our first time at this brewery and vintage bowling alley and we had a blast! Bowled for three hours, had some excellent beers and cocktails, and finished the evening with some fantastic food! The veggie burger (tho a little spicy) was amazing. My husband raved about the Buffalo chix egg rolls. Kids loved the mozz sticks. Overall, highly recommend this place and looking forward to going back!”

“Food is consistently good, and service has always been great. Large selection of beers on tap and a wide variety of menu items that they execute exceptionally well. It is definitely a notch above standard pub fare. One thing I don’t care much for their secret “Service Charge” and credit card fee (added in before I said I was paying credit). Be transparent and raise your prices rather than sneak these sham charges to the bottom of my bill.”
“This was a bucket list stop while we were in the Rochester area and it did not disappoint. Great location with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and accommodating. As expected the beer was outstanding. They do such a nice job with so many different styles. We would be here a lot if we lived in the area.”

“My elderly dad was having a fit about his Beef on Wek sandwich not being right, after I explained to him that it was, but two different management people very patiently worked with him on it three different times and tried to get it to what his expectations were. I was losing patience and never really got to eat my meal because I was attending to dad. I just wanted to thank you (at the Avon location) for helping me through this and not making it worse! Thanks”

“Had an outstanding lunch here today! We ordered both specials, chicken and biscuits and a smoked sausage calzone. Both excellent, fresh, hot and delicious. Can't say enough about the chicken and biscuits, best we ever had with fresh large chunks of chicken and pillowy biscuits and beautifully presented with some vegetables and fresh herbs on top. Also, had a delicious pumpkin latte with homemade whipped cream. Can't go wrong here, such a cozy place with friendly people.”

“Stepping through the doors of TK's I felt as though I had wandered into a dream—one where candlelight glows like captured starlight and the air itself seems perfumed with possibility. Yet even in a place so artfully enchanted, nothing could have prepared me for the poutine that arrived before me like a revelation on porcelain. This was not merely poutine. This was a culinary sonnet, a whisper from the gastronomic heavens. A dish so sublime it felt almost mischievous to call it by its familiar name. The Wisconsin cheese curds announced themselves with unapologetic pride. You could taste their birthplace—lush dairy fields, cows humming contentedly, the whole pastoral romance. Each curd held its integrity just long enough to declare, “Yes, I am from Wisconsin,” before surrendering into a gentle, buttery melt that can only be described as perfection liquefied. They didn’t just melt—they blossomed across the warm potatoes in creamy, celestial ribbons. And then there was the demi-glace. Oh, the demi-glace. Calling it a “half” anything feels adorably modest. This sauce was appropriately named only because it is indeed better than half of a glace—it may be better than all of them. A rich, velvety pool of umami velvet, it cascaded over the fries with the elegance of a silk gown in motion. Deep, complex, and infinitely comforting, it managed to be both bold and tender at once, like a secret told in a familiar voice. And what of the phrase “better than Canada”? Risky, perhaps. Blasphemous to some. But after a forkful of this poutine—this enchanted mosaic of potato, curd, and demi-decadence—I found myself whispering it involuntarily. Not out of disrespect for our northern culinary champions, but because sometimes a creation transcends borders and loyalties altogether. This poutine is not better than Canada because it compares itself— It is better because it dares not. It simply is. In short, the dish is a masterpiece. A warm, glowing, cheese-laden love letter to indulgence itself. If a restaurant can be judged by its poutine, then TK's is nothing short of the north star of flavorful delirium. The view of the falls isn't demi bad either.”

“Decided to celebrate a special occasion so we chose this place. We had dined here before the current management and had great experiences. We informed the host that this was our first encounter here and were looking forward to it. We were seated in a VERY noisy area (we are older and most older folks appreciate a quieter dining environment usually). However, we were moved to a quieter table upon request. Which was wise as we had alternate plans if the seating wasn't suitable for us. When we are spending upwards of 200.00 for a meal out we expect a certain level of service. Our meals were very good, but the 'extras', bread and salad were lacking in substance and quality I'm afraid. Our server was adequate but not as attentive as we would have liked. (restaurant was not particularly busy at that time (5:00 PM). We will probably return here at some point but as there are so many other local options for dining out we will pursue those before returning here. Thank you.”
