“Donnelly's is a classic Irish pub - friendly but low key, you can sit at the bar and chat or snag a table in the corner for privacy. The beer selection is excellent with a good rotation, and the food is also very good. This is my go-to place in Fairport!“

“I stopped by this place with family while we were walking on the canal. It's a very short detour from the Canal towpath, and has outdoor seating, which is great in the summer. Tons of options, and very fair pricing. I got a sandwich, my wife got a salad, and my son got the chicken fingers. Each item was delicious. We will definitely be back.“
“My husband and I went for a Friday fish fry. At 530 it was busy but the food came out quickly. I had the fish sandwich. I like a beer batter fish more but this was very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to get it again. Of course the root beer is wonderful.“
“Hands down best beer in Fairport. Not only is the beer great, but the variety of beverage choices is endless with new beers coming out frequently. Every so often, I try something new. For example, last month I had their mead (their ginger mead) and it was fantastic. Also, I love the environment. The Fairport location is quaint inside and when weather permits, the outside patio is awesome (fire pits, live music, burgers and dogs, and beer).“
“It's ok. I've lived in Ireland 7 years and it's not quite the same. The Guinness stew was good, but salty and didn't come with much soda bread. The portion was generous. My friends enjoyed the fish and chips. It could be great with a little work, so I deducted a star.“
“DiBella's is consistently fast, fresh, and interesting to eat. There runs a risk with subs, that the flavors are boring, or the sub is dry, or the company goes for the easy layup and saves money scrimping on say, pickles. DiBella's does none of these things - a 10 inch sub feels like more than I SHOULD eat in one sitting, and often makes two meals (except when I just keep eating, because it tastes good). Nice decor and friendly staff too, makes this my go to for subs.“

“Cool place, bartender let me taste the sours variety before ordering one so i could make an educatedchoice. Let me charge phone behind bar, and used wifi to work on laptop. Ate FREE popcorn, had a shot of Tullamore Dew with some of the locals in honor of late St. Pats, played a song on jukebox that was my band and not with flow of background music, no one complained. Talked to some of the local crowd in there and all were friendly as well, especially to my rambling @**. Thanks for welcoming a vagabond needing face time, and to just get out for a night and see people, into your whimsically decorated, fun, watering hole.I bet this place bops for karaoke on weekends, little raised stage area and open floor plan with room for potential dancing.Bathrooms clean, extra credit.Designated smoking area attached so can bring drinks out. “If you're looking for Great food and Excellent Service in the Rochester N.Y. Area. Be sure to check out McArtle's, a family owned restaurant in the Fairborn area. They make excellent cocktails and we enjoyed a delicious dinner of Prime Rib and Beef tenderloins with bay scallops. The service is great and John the owner, personally delivered our food and did a follow up to make sure everything was first rate. They have a robot server named "Rosie" that assists the servers by bringing your food to the table for your server to serve you. This works great as it allows the server to spend more time serving the customers and avoids those large trays that clutter up the aisle ways in some restaurants. It's also a great conversation piece and it shows off the food as it passes your table. Everything looks great. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and the beef tenderloin was so tender you didn't need a knife. The Chicken French was also very good. The Haddock was perfectly cooked and they went the extra mile to handle our special carrots request. Our party of seven were very pleased. The also have excellent menu items for the Vegan members of the family The tall wooden booths give you the" Irish Tavern "feel while allowing you to be able to carry on a conversation at your table. The portions are generous and fairly priced. We didn't try dessert as we were comfortably full. But the desserts that went by looked yummy. Service was great, they make you feel welcome And want you to come back. (You can join their loyalty program for additional savings.) The restaurant is very accessible allowing seniors to get in easily.“
