“Had Valentines Day dinner at Horizons. The evening was excellent in all aspects from start to finish.

The food was outstanding, clearly the chef knows how to create dishes with flavors that complement each other, delicious!

All of the staff, from the bar tenders, the coat check lady, our server Debbie, to management were personable, efficient and attentive.

Since it was Valentines Day the restaurant was extremely busy but the acoustics were very good in that I could have an intimate conversation with my partner (very important if you don't want to shout to be heard above the noise). I should note that tables were not on top of each other which enhanced the overall experience. There was a Jazz trio playing that also added to a charming atmosphere.

The only opportunity is that we miss a place to get up and dance, pre-Covid it was possible to do that in the bar area.“

“In this industry, When will we start to teach our hostesses that they are the first impression for any guest that walks in the restaurant. In my opinion you don’t need to pay for a hostess on Saturday nights, the servers can handle that collectively. Especially a hostess who greets your guests with “how many?” And does absolutely nothing else all evening. Our server was fantastic, the food was good but pricey. Been here a few times and l like the vibe. Train your hostess to be warm and friendly, but you really don’t need to be paying that wage 😉“

“This Applebee's is one of my favorite ones to go too. Everyone was nice my food was very good..its just somethings they promote they didn't have a menu for but did say they would honor it. But other then that great food and prices“

“We always try to go to Tom Wahls when passing thru the Rochester area, even going out of our way a little we make a point to go atleast once or twice a year. I have been to a few other locations over the decades, and always found them clean, organized and a friendly staff. First time at this location did not quite live up to the standards of the others had set, but to be fair I think we just came at a bad time. It was loud and chaotic when we came in with several messy tables. The cashier seemed impatient with us and to not be paying attention as we kept having to repeat our order as he stared off to the side unsure we were heard (just 2 people getting a burger frie and drinks nothing crazy. My burger had an insane amount of mayo, not sure what happened there but it was almost a comical amount on both sides, easy to scrape some off and still enjoy the burger. My spouce really enjoyed his mushroom burger.

I do have to give them some credit as there was a group from a baseball team leaving as we parked and when we came in a dozen todlers with only two adults for supervision who didn't seem to have any control of them running around by the order counter and dineing room and that is clearly not the staffs fault and was probably very overwhelming for the staff also and it wouldn't be fair to judge under those circumstances, service industry can be unpredictable and overwhelming.

If your thinking of checking out this location know there may be loud messy kids there but its worth it because Wahls has really great unique burgers, the best creemy rootbeer and a fun retro vibe....and mabey order your mayo on the side. I wish there were a location closer to Buffalo.“

“Wow this lace is fantastic. We had a graduation party here. Venue was perfect with easy parking and a beautiful space. But then the staff, you can’t find better. Fast service, the best espresso martinis martini’s, old fashioned’s, and they remember you every time you cane up. Just a beautiful space, with amazing staff. Don’t think twice, book it now!“
