“The staff were friendly and helpful. I ate before I left, but the food others were getting looked and smelled delicious. They let my cousins put on a birthday bash for my cousin who passed away and all word his shirts to support him. Will return.“
“AMAZING. hands down Chakara is now my absolute favorite sushi place around. The food quality is always fresh and presentation is fantastic. I can't rave about this place enough! The yellowtail jalapeño and avocado ball are now my new favorites! My boyfriend says try the honey sandwich, but we also love the wonton soup! The restaurant is nice and clean and put together, the servers are on point and work as a team, service is speedy and friendly! We went a while ago and Andy the owner was so nice and welcoming, he's a great host! Gotta give him props for the tight ship he runs! Then we went again for Valentine's Day! Highly highly recommend! Maybe we will see ya there!!“
“I stopped by this place with family while we were walking on the canal. It's a very short detour from the Canal towpath, and has outdoor seating, which is great in the summer. Tons of options, and very fair pricing. I got a sandwich, my wife got a salad, and my son got the chicken fingers. Each item was delicious. We will definitely be back.“
“It's ok. I've lived in Ireland 7 years and it's not quite the same. The Guinness stew was good, but salty and didn't come with much soda bread. The portion was generous. My friends enjoyed the fish and chips. It could be great with a little work, so I deducted a star.“
“After being told to stop here for excellent wings I went in at lunchtime. It was slow but the waiter/bartender was there energetic and upbeat. He recommended a few of the non-hot spicy wings. I did order of mild and another with Jamaican spice to which both were excellent. Great flavor, good amount of meat and flavor! I also had the chowder which was ok! Best thing about this place was the service! Great bar with sports on tv's. I'll be back when I'm this area!“
“Fun friendly staff, eclectic people, and fair prices on drinks! Went once for a friend's birthday on a trivia night they host (I believe 7:30 on Tuesdays.) The trivia was provided through an app service, making it easy and accessible to most. The entire trivia contest took almost 2 hours with several short breaks throughout. I am pretty sure the top prize was a $50 gift card, but my team wasn't the winner so not positive. Overall a very enjoyable time, with a solid crowd without being elbow to elbow. Plan to start going more regularly.“
“Yes, 5 stars! Dinners were awesome. Everyone enjoyed their entrées. Angus brisket, over garlic smashed potatoes, the twin 6oz steaks, short ribs, all delicious. Enough for 2 meals with some dishes. Service was great. Timing was perfect... not a big place. Only 2 tables open upon arrival for 630 Friday night. Nice view of the canal. I don't remember seeing outdoor seating. ? worth a try. ~$60/person with drinks Check out the drink menu, nice selection of scotch, wines and beers,“
“Had a really fun visit to The Argyle last night to see my friend's band! The service was really on point and our bartender was so kind! The food came quickly, too. My quesadilla was huge and so delicious and I can't wait to finish it for lunch today! Would definitely go back to enjoy one of their many TVs for a football game with a good dinner ?“
“Cool place, bartender let me taste the sours variety before ordering one so i could make an educatedchoice. Let me charge phone behind bar, and used wifi to work on laptop. Ate FREE popcorn, had a shot of Tullamore Dew with some of the locals in honor of late St. Pats, played a song on jukebox that was my band and not with flow of background music, no one complained. Talked to some of the local crowd in there and all were friendly as well, especially to my rambling @**. Thanks for welcoming a vagabond needing face time, and to just get out for a night and see people, into your whimsically decorated, fun, watering hole.I bet this place bops for karaoke on weekends, little raised stage area and open floor plan with room for potential dancing.Bathrooms clean, extra credit.Designated smoking area attached so can bring drinks out. Not heated though.Tolerant staff and locals- especially to my off beat chatty personality and crazy life story. Watched out for my drink, safe place for women!Darts and pool. Jukebox if you wanna hear something. No deck of playing cards behind the bar though, bring your own if you will want or need one for any reason ;-PParking: Looked messy outside (beer bottles/broken glass) but was the day after St. Patty's, so still commendable in my eyes (having worked in the industry a number of years).“
“Donnelly's is a classic Irish pub - friendly but low key, you can sit at the bar and chat or snag a table in the corner for privacy. The beer selection is excellent with a good rotation, and the food is also very good. This is my go-to place in Fairport!“
