“The food was the closest thing to my dear old Italian grandmother's. I commented to our server how the food tasted so authentic and learned the owner/chef is from the same small town in Italy as my grandmother. You could taste it in the food! The service was as good as the food. We left there feeling like we were just at a family dinner. It was our first time here and it's a 1.5 hour drive, but we will be back often. Highly recommend!“

“We just had lunch a group of 18 at Salts Restaurant this afternoon and everything was perfect. The atmosphere and service were outstanding even as they also cared for another large party. Due to the snow and the snow plow blocking the ramp a few of us needed help navigating the back entrance stairs. Both Katie and Armando were great helps. They were both very strong and familiar with assisting people. I knew I was in capable hands. And everyone loved their food. The food was plentiful with lots of delicious options. She had the special (turkey BLT wrap) and I had the beef on wick. Food was delicious and the service was top-notch in our book.

“The atmosphere was was great. Our waitress Bella( at the Rochester one) was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly sling with our hostess and other table help. Was a great experience. The only thing I was disappointed in ( which wasn’t any of these peoples doing) was my porterhouse steak. For the money, it should have been a nice cut. It was an end cut, one that even some stores don’t use…let alone a very upscale restaurant. It was also supposed to be med rare n was med. I didn’t send it back because st least it was pink, but it was well past med rare. My crab cake was very good. The lobster and crab mac and cheese was also very good. I’d definitely recommend and go back. Just not sure if I’d get the porterhouse again. Probably go with just the filet.“

“Today we had a problem with a takeout order at Flaherty's. The order we picked up was inaccurate. We called and the person who answered said to come back in a few minutes. When we returned we were greeted by the manager who offered his apologies for the mishap and offered to give us a free meal for our inconvenience. In summation: A problem resolved! “We had 2 events in the month of February. Meg was my point of contact for both. She has the best communication skills I have ever come across at a restaurant! She was super easy to get ahold of and always answered my questions promptly and efficiently. She was very accommodating with our themed events and made sure the room was set up to meet our needs. The room was organized well and we had ample space for both events that had over 20 people at each one. The food came out quickly and the portions were good and the food was tasty. I enjoyed both my meals and the great service that was provided. When they were made aware of any questions or concerns, they were dealt with quickly, we just had to let them know. There was a discrepancy with the gratuity accidentally being charged 20% for one of the events, but as soon as they were made aware of the situation it was taken care of. They went above and beyond and they will be at the top of my list for my next event!“

“Everything was absolutely amazing!! Our waitress was Jenna and she was absolutely incredible, we didn’t have to ask for a refill once she was on top of it! We had two appetizers: Buffalo Chicken Dip and Spinach and Artichoke Dip, they were both incredible! The spinach and artichoke dip had a tasty layer of cheese on top and the Buffalo chicken dip definitely had some heat but in the best way, sooo good! I ended up ordering the Jack’d n cheese after Jenna helped me pick and it was so good! It was spicy, creamy, the tenders were nice and crispy, everything about it was just phenomenal, also the cheese left in the bottom of the skillet is perfect for dipping chips and fries into! My parents and partner got the meatball sub and they couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. We will definitely be back, and really hope Jenna is our waitress again!“

“Several of us old guys rotate a monthly dinner. Tonight six of us dined at Porterhouse. Service was on point. Shawna was great. We order family style and pass plates around. Apps we had were Artichoke French, arancini and pot stickers. All fantastic. Entrees were salmon, strip steak and braised spareribs. Sides of mashed potatoes, root veggies and a great rice. Three bottles of red. Five after dinner drinks. $100 per person including tip. All six plan on returning. Highly recommended.“
