“The food was the closest thing to my dear old Italian grandmother's. I commented to our server how the food tasted so authentic and learned the owner/chef is from the same small town in Italy as my grandmother. You could taste it in the food! The service was as good as the food. We left there feeling like we were just at a family dinner. It was our first time here and it's a 1.5 hour drive, but we will be back often. Highly recommend!“

“I wish I had a picture of the sheet pizza I ordered for the Bill's game.. I love cariglios pizza. I've been going to them for a few years now and they never dissapoint!! I've been telling everyone in my family to give them a shot and you'll see. Why I enjoy them so much!! Now they have a location in Victor! Which is sweet! My brother orders from them and my sister orderfeom them from East Rochester. They all agree that they are worth the money and what they offer for deals!! I'm happy to see them expanding. “The young kid at the counter wasn't very attentive on the order so we got the wrong type of pepperoni but it wasn't worth calling and getting anything replaced at this point. Overall the food was good as well as the service. We will definitely go here again“

“First time ordering here since we moved to the East side and I have to say it’s the best pizza I’ve had yet! Great for people who like a thinner crust with a healthy amount of sauce. The brick oven crust is SO good. We loved the buffalo chicken pizza, their house wing sauce they use is unique, and it was a nice shake up to traditional buffalo sauce. Also their house red on our pepperoni pizza was fantastic! 😍“

I gave 5 stars for “Atmosphere”(it is a pick-up only pizza shop)…because the busy crew behind the counter making your delicious order is friendly, entertaining and interesting to watch!

Here’s the truth…it was the best sub we’ve ever had and hubby is an expert.

“As a longtime satisfied customer of Mark’s in Fairport, I didn’t think I could be more pleased with their service, but I was wrong. Tonight I placed an order online for delivery. After an hour I called because it never takes that long for a delivery. It turns out I messed up and did the online order for pickup, rather than delivery. I drove to the store and was greeted by the manager who informed me she was making me a new pizza because she didn’t want me leaving with a cold pizza. When I told her it was my fault and that wasn’t necessary she insisted I was getting a fresh, hot pizza. I was blown away!! In an age of horrible customer service, this young lady decided to go above and beyond to satisfy a customer even though the mistake was clearly my fault! I have been a customer of Mark’s for quite some time and this just proved to me why! Their slogan is “we treat you like family” and, as it turns out, this is not just a slogan but reality! “Google must be giving out "local guide" status to anyone because Anthony Viscusi is horribly misinformed and possibly blind. The dough at pontillos is NOT frozen. The staff at pontillos makes the dough fresh every morning. There is an entire room in the corner of the dining area with glass walls where employees make the dough. In fact if you come in early enough, usually just after opening, you can watch them make the dough through the glass for yourself. Please remove Anthony Viscusi from being a local guide as he is obviously a terrible critic.“

“My significant other and I love eating here at Salvatore's. They have the best pizza in town and their pizza is the price except for just a little bit pricey though. But we enjoy it occasionally. We get it every other month if we can afford it. The people that work here are very kind, generous people. They really want to make the pizza taste the best every time. They have more than just pizza though, they have subs, wings, and typical items that come from a pizza shop when you walk into their store. It's a quaint little spot in Canandaigua. They do have dine in booths for you to sit at if you wish, but what we do is normally order and have it delivered. If they make a mistake or something went wrong with their system or something they work with you to try to fix the issue. I would strongly recommend coming here for pizza and of course it is the best pizza in Canandaigua. We come back time after time.“

“Margherita Pizza was good. Coffee was great. Ricotta appetizer was great. Service (Connor) was excellent. We were certainly tended to! Atmosphere is roomy but cozy and not loud at all.

Update, we ate here tonight (a few years after that previous trip) and it was even better. Laura was our waitress and she's a treat! Delmonico steak special was fantastic, with cheesy bacon mashed potatoes. Steak was fatty but it was great fat. Pics to come!“
