“Everyone has a favorite place to get delicious pizza. I encourage anyone who might be interested in trying a “prize-worthy pizza” to visit Pontillo’s in Bushnell’s Basin.
I gave 5 stars for “Atmosphere”(it is a pick-up only pizza shop)…because the busy crew behind the counter making your delicious order is friendly, entertaining and interesting to watch!
Don’t forget to order boneless wings as well.“

“Can’t believe the Super Slice deal — two huge slices, a cookie, and a drink for only $10!! 🤯 The atmosphere was amazing, everything was super clean, and the service was hands down the best I’ve ever had. By far my favorite Salvatore’s location!“

“Google must be giving out "local guide" status to anyone because Anthony Viscusi is horribly misinformed and possibly blind. The dough at pontillos is NOT frozen. The staff at pontillos makes the dough fresh every morning. There is an entire room in the corner of the dining area with glass walls where employees make the dough. In fact if you come in early enough, usually just after opening, you can watch them make the dough through the glass for yourself. Please remove Anthony Viscusi from being a local guide as he is obviously a terrible critic.“

“Margherita Pizza was good. Coffee was great. Ricotta appetizer was great. Service (Connor) was excellent. We were certainly tended to! Atmosphere is roomy but cozy and not loud at all.

Update, we ate here tonight (a few years after that previous trip) and it was even better. Laura was our waitress and she's a treat! Delmonico steak special was fantastic, with cheesy bacon mashed potatoes. Steak was fatty but it was great fat. Pics to come!“

“We drive 45 minutes for dinner every couple of weeks or as often as we can and it’s always worth it. There’s nothing bad on the menu. The wings are our favorite, the chicken salad is my 7 year old daughter’s go to. the subs, the cheeseburger plates, the pizza, all the condiments and sauces-just try it all. Do not forget the chocolate chip cookies either!“

“Food was good. Had wings and beef on weck. Service was not good. Sat at a booth in the bar area. This was a Saturday at 4pm. Not busy at all. Took 15 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge us even though there was at least 3-4 that we saw wandering around. Definitely not as good as the original, but hoping they’ll work out some of the kinks.“

“First time ordering here since we moved to the East side and I have to say it’s the best pizza I’ve had yet! Great for people who like a thinner crust with a healthy amount of sauce. The brick oven crust is SO good. We loved the buffalo chicken pizza, their house wing sauce they use is unique, and it was a nice shake up to traditional buffalo sauce. Also their house red on our pepperoni pizza was fantastic! 😍“

“The food was the closest thing to my dear old Italian grandmother's. I commented to our server how the food tasted so authentic and learned the owner/chef is from the same small town in Italy as my grandmother. You could taste it in the food! The service was as good as the food. We left there feeling like we were just at a family dinner. It was our first time here and it's a 1.5 hour drive, but we will be back often. Highly recommend!“

“We did an honor flight event that sends veterans to to washing DC to see monuments made in their honor. Mozzeroni’s was so generous. They donated pizzas for our event and fed our riders. “Very good tasting pizza, but it was disappointing that they don't have specialty pizzas such as supreme, meat lovers, veggie lovers, etc. Creating your own supreme costs extra for each topping. Great for Carbone's revenue, but not a good deal for customers.“

You have donated pizzas all over the community, but just today, I learned you will be donating pizza to our children at St. Kateri for their last Field day of the school's existence! Typically the children would be given hot dogs, watermelon, and freeze pops, but we were told this year there was no money to do so...as many already know, the school is closing down for good (as St. Kateri that is). It will become Chesterton Academy, and our loving school community is officially disbanded at the end of this school year, all needing to find new homes...children and teachers alike! When we learned that yet one more tradition was coming to an end, you swooped in and came through for our children. Today I couldn't put it off any longer "A LARGE CHEESE PIZZA FOR $12.00" are you kidding me. typically I like to add some toppings when ordering a pizza but I wanted to see what the bare bones have to say and by the way when they say large they mean it. It reminded me of the way it used to be instead of the large size other shops typically offer today which don't come close. I went to pick it up and when I entered the shop it immediately presented a very nice "Vibe". There were several pizzas ready with a variety of toppings for purchase by the slice. The room smelled amazing. The environment is welcoming and clean. I spoke with the woman at the counter who may have been the owner and I meant to ask but was engaged with other questions since it was my first visit. The pizza was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful I truly did not miss having other toppings added, although I am anxious to try them with my next order. As a result, I ate more than I should have and had to force myself to stop. Still we all know how nice it is to have some leftover for later. If you have not tried them yet, don't hesitate. I also notice so many other great items on their menu. Oh well so much for my weight goals.“

“Beyond impressed! This pizza was the only pizza my family would order when I was a kid. We moved to Florida and over the years people have started away from them and we were always disappointed. We tried it twice and we're so impressed I had to review! Wings are cooked to perfection and the pizza is on point! ESPECIALLY the GLUTEN FREE!!! It actually looks, feels and chews like a pizza, not just a glorified tortilla. We will always order from Marks when we come to visit!
