“We visited the restaurant with our daughter and 4 friends for Easter Brunch. The location, food and service were terrific. Service was great (always had someone at the table before our water or lattes were done), the food was worth its cost (portions were large and we all had leftovers for later in the day). Will definitely be back next time visiting our daughter in Rochester.”

“Copper leaf has that at home with friends feel I absolutely love. Their brewing menu changes frequently and is varied. Always something for everyone, friendly staff and just a lovely place for a few pints! DOGS ARE WELCOME TOO.”

“Saturday lunch. Quiet, and empty indoors. Loved the gyros and avgolemono soup. All fresh and long time family favorites, both for dine in and take out. In the summer we like to sit out by the canal. We took home some avgolemono and spanakopita. If we were not stuffed we would have also had the baklava.”

“I got a cheese burger plate my friend got a plate wrap it was super delicious! The meat sauce was perfect and the noodles for the Mac salad weren’t mushy would definitely recommend giving it a try!”

“Have you ever thought "Man, I dislike cupcakes?" Of course not. Go in here and treat yourself. I stopped in for a birthday party prep, and found they had cupcakes with banana in them - now, no one in my family really LIKES banana but me, so I figured "I'll get a couple of those to try". They didn't make it home. The birthday dozen almost didn't either. Not a place for those with weak impulse control... or is it? Seriously great cupcakes.”

“I came in for dinner with some coworkers and truly loved my experience. We came in right at the end of Happy Hour and our server rushed to get our first wine orders in so we could make the special. I ordered the Ceasar salad with shrimp and it was quite possibly the best Ceasar I've ever had! It was incredible and filled with plump, perfectly cooked shrimp! I also ordered a side of fries because, girl dinner lol, and they were just what I wanted! Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meal equally. The restaurant was busy but we had quick, friendly service throughout our meal. It was a fun place to grab a meal and drinks after a long day of work!”

“Ambience is very good and thoughtful. Has a very good beer selection of unique IPAs, and they are welcoming to bringing outside food which is nice. if you have the canal and they have a fire pit out front. Very welcoming of dogs.”

“Thank you guys for existing. I was told "tom wahl's" is a staple of Rochester and I was not let down. As a Canadian from Toronto area who visited multiple times, I can safely report that this place is unbelievable with amazing burgers/fries and don't even get me started on the root beer float (also amazing). You guys do it very, very well and I cannot wait to come back to Rochester area!”

“It was mid-afternoon on a weekday. The bar had a few people around it and only 4 of the tables were occupied. Service was instant and fun. Draft beer selection was adequate. The Ruben and Mac salad delicious. Burger and fries very good. Have never had a different experience in 5 or 6 visits. Usually stop there when we cruise down the Erie Canal in the summer.”

“During my recent stay at the Hilton Hotel, I had the pleasure of experiencing the bartending services at their stunning garden bar. The ambiance of the tranquil setting was enhanced by the remarkable skills of their bartender, Jeff.Moreover, their ability to engage with guests, and making you feel welcomed. He walked me through his years of experience with the hotel and it was quite comforting.”

“My wife, and go here all the time fine ding at its best. We go for our birthdays holidays. We never had a bad meal. It's always been scrumptious doing the holidays. They have a limited menu. They have a set price so before you go for a holiday check the menu the wine list is not that long, but I always found it to be satisfied with what I get I would say they are a superb definitely try them out. I don't think you will be disappointed the building used to be an Inn. For weary travelers that traveled the old Erie Canal the restaurant is decorated as such. They have outside seating during nice weather. If it gets cool, they turn on the outside heaters just be aware nothing is perfect. Your warm on top cold on the bottom just dress accordingly. It is a lovely spot. Very friendly my wife and I have gone there for about 20 years.”

“Came here with a large group and ended up trying a bunch of stuff. For apps, the shrimp tostada and crab dip were alright. The salmon salad was rather simple, but the salmon was cooked very well. Everyone raves about the chicken n waffles. I had a N.A. Negroni, which is basically a 0 proof liquor, with botanicals and I was quite impressed. Service was pretty good.”
