“Saturday lunch. Quiet, and empty indoors. Loved the gyros and avgolemono soup. All fresh and long time family favorites, both for dine in and take out. In the summer we like to sit out by the canal. We took home some avgolemono and spanakopita. If we were not stuffed we would have also had the baklava.“

“As a Rochester native, I can't say I have an extensive list of Mediterranean restaurants that I would recommend. Babylon Restaurant, however, would be at the top of that list. First, the food was absolutely delicious. Ordered the Chicken Shawarma sandwich, the Greek Salad, and the Baklava and would highly recommend eaxh. You can tell are the ingredients were fresh and the food was prepared very quickly. The Baklava was probably the best I ever had. The service was great as well. The worker who took are order helped us look through the menu and gave recommendations. After eating our meal, they provide a complementary tea service. I would say I'm picky about tea and found the one they served to be delicious. They also provided us with a sample of another of their desserts on the house! Not sure the name, but it was phyllo dough with a sweet cheese interior. Overall, a great experience and wish them the best of success!“

I ordered the gyro pita for takeoutIt was very tasty and more authentic than other restaurants that serve Mediterranean food. i recommend asking for the tzastiki sauce on the side since pita sandwich was a little messy.I got my order in less than 10 minutes and the price was reasonable. They have an extensive menu of Mediterranean and Syrian cuisine. Parking lot is small but food is worth it. Counter service and food is brought to your table if you are dining in. I will return.“

“Very nice. No wait for seating at supper time. Food was delicious and people were friendly and helpful. The price was also reasonable. This was on Wednesday night I believe. The only problem with Jines is that you need to give yourself extra time to either find street parking. It might be an issue for those with mobility issues or in bad weather as sidewalks aren't always plowed. I guess you can also park in the parking lot a little ways down from Jines. I think it used to be a grocery store or laundromat parking lot. It is free forJines patrons but you need to get your validation ticket before you put money in the self serve money slot. Otherwise it might be a hassle to get the money back as there is no one site. And if you skip payment without the ticket you risk getting towed.“

“Best Mediterranean food I have had in my life! So many layers of flavor in every dish I tried. And I want to try them ALL. Healthy too. As a diabetic, I was able to make choices with ease and without any spike to my glucose. Nothing was overly salty either. But oh the FLAVOR!!!Service was exceptional. “I was at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and an employee recommended Cedar Taste Mediterranean on the Skywalk. She was raving about the freshness of the food and I must agree. I had the Mediterranean sampler and it was so tasty. Warm pita, homemade falafel, homemade hummus, baba ganoush, and a deliciously fresh salad. I had a side of fresh baklava. Needless to say I could not finish it all! The owners, Sam and Maggie were thoughtful and charming. I will definitely return when I am in the area.“

Yesterday there was a little bit of a mix up and our food took over an hour to arrive but the server recognized the error and credited half our bill and then when we were checking out the owner insisted on giving us a gift card for our next visit. I just want to say how I was impressed with the credit on the bill but to then offer an additional gift card went above and beyond. We will definitely be coming back. “This place consistently does not disappoint. Inside you’ll find an unassuming counter line similar to a Chipotle, but this punches way above its weight. The decor is unique and the patio is lovely. Served on tableware with friendly staff. The food is absolutely outstanding. Easily one of the best restaurants of its kind anywhere we’ve travelled. Everything is super fresh and flavorful. We’re not sure what they do differently about their baba, but it is to die for. Their Veggie Sampler is a go-to favorite. Today we also tried the portobello pitza which had nice chunks of olive, onion, tomato, a vinegar reduction, and cheese with a lovely pull to it. We’ve yet to have a single item at this restaurant that wasn’t described as “outstanding” or “among the best we’ve had” for whatever the dish. Our only regret is that we didn’t try it until February 2023.“

“I am embarrassed to say that I have never been in pita pit and they have been here in Rochester forever. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a nice CLEAN store! (Henrietta location) Everything shines in there! We recently ate inside at Chipotle nearby and NEVER AGAIN it was filthy. The food here is fresh and delicious and the service was speedy and friendly. Sometimes they are out of the dessert I order but they'll call and offer a substitution. It is always something good and we like to try new items. Definitely recommend this restaurant.“

“I went here at the recommendation of a friend and wow, this is one of my new favorite places to eat. The restaurant was clean, the woman working the counter was friendly. We got the chicken shish gyros and the hummus appetizer. Everything was delicious beyond measure. I seriously was almost brought to tears. The prices were not bad at all either and the wait was short. I WILL be back. It's conveniently located near several other businesses I frequent so I'm happy to have finally tried this place. “Back when I was a student in Henrietta, in the late 80s, I was a server at another restaurant. When I had a Sunday off, I'd drag my bf to Aladdin's. We would eat everything we ordered, plus dessert. I moved away, all along the east coast, and then Midwest to Chi. Then I moved back to care for my mother. The best part of this experience is in WNY is revisiting this restaurant, via takeout. As a caregiver, takeout is a lifeline. The lentil soup is still great. The chicken pita roll is just as wonderful. The vegetarian combo is amazing, and you get your money's worth with the gyro plate. My only regret is not being able to eat at Aladdin's every few days. I'm in Niagara County, and they are in Monroe. This is not 5 stars for ambience or a Michelin star recommendation. It's 5 stars for continuity, quality, and reliability. Everything on their menu is delicious. I've tried it all! It's part of who I am. Thank you ever so much, Aladdin's - I truly appreciate you all.
