“Food was absolutely delicious. Service was to be desired. Long wait to be greeted. We ordered food and drink when we were finally greeted. Didn't receive the drinks (unsweet tea and a glass of wine) until half way through eating our entrees. Thank goodness they provided water when we sat “

“Food- breakfast and desserts are Incredible!! Service- is not the best, very inattentive- seems like they only want people to do take-out orders.. girl was outside taking care of plants instead of checking on us or ever refilling our coffees.. Ambiance- cute unique vibe but very small, think there was only 2 or 3 tables.“

“This was our first visit and it was fabulous. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and just nice to chat with. Our server, Kathryn, was awesome!! Love her. I had the moussaka and it was wonderful. Great flavor! Hubby had the wolf fish/scallop special. Again, delish. Cocktails were great and we got desserts to go. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!“

“Very nice. No wait for seating at supper time. Food was delicious and people were friendly and helpful. The price was also reasonable. This was on Wednesday night I believe. The only problem with Jines is that you need to give yourself extra time to either find street parking. It might be an issue for those with mobility issues or in bad weather as sidewalks aren't always plowed. I guess you can also park in the parking lot a little ways down from Jines. I think it used to be a grocery store or laundromat parking lot. It is free forJines patrons but you need to get your validation ticket before you put money in the self serve money slot. Otherwise it might be a hassle to get the money back as there is no one site. And if you skip payment without the ticket you risk getting towed.“

“We were walking by and he was handing out samples so we stopped. We chatted with him for a minute and decided to give it a try. The food was AMAZING! Give this place a try. Small time family owned restaurant trying to make it work. Give them some love.“

“Best Mediterranean food I have had in my life! So many layers of flavor in every dish I tried. And I want to try them ALL. Healthy too. As a diabetic, I was able to make choices with ease and without any spike to my glucose. Nothing was overly salty either. But oh the FLAVOR!!!Service was exceptional. Friendly, efficient, kind, and gracious. Comfortable atmosphere, modern-ish, yet warm and cozy.I hope to dine at Sinbad's whenever I visit Rochester. Which may need to be a lot more often.“

“We love it here. We have gone several times and always have great service and yummy food. Yesterday there was a little bit of a mix up and our food took over an hour to arrive but the server recognized the error and credited half our bill and then when we were checking out the owner insisted on giving us a gift card for our next visit. I just want to say how I was impressed with the credit on the bill but to then offer an additional gift card went above and beyond. We will definitely be coming back. Everyone makes mistakes once in awhile and it spoke volumes that they owned it, apologized and made it more than right! Kudos to the entire staff here!!!“

“The hospitality and kindness was beautiful and definitely beyond words can't express how she took care of us that meant a lot. Oh and our foods ? we were so happy and full that we didn't eat anything else. Now definitely a place to go and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Priceless ????☕ Thank you so much.“
“Morningstar is a local brunch spot nestled in the Culver-Merchants neighborhood in Rochester you don’t want to miss! Just had the most delightful brunch experience here with my partner. This is a family run, Greek American restaurant with a casual, old-timey feel. The lady hosting and serving us couldn’t have been more pleasant, welcoming and attentive. We both had one of the specials with Greek yogurt drizzled with honey and topped with pomegranates - one of the best things I’ve eaten in the past year - as well as over medium eggs topped with tzatziki and feta, served over spinach dill rice with a side of oregano French bread toast and fresh fruit. The food had vibrant flavors and was just the right amount to feel satisfied but not too heavy.I highly recommend this place if you want a relaxing weekend brunch spot with delicious Greek American food and a delightful atmosphere. (Cash or check only).“

“We really enjoy this place, especially for take out on a Friday evening. It's conveniently located, and orders can be placed online. Sometimes they are out of the dessert I order but they'll call and offer a substitution. It is always something good and we like to try new items. Definitely recommend this restaurant.“

“The peppermill restaurates higher than what this survey has my favorite, which is hot Turkey sandwiches. The most important part of that is the gravy. There's nobody that can beat. They're gravy and believe me, I have tried to find other places that can beat it, and it can't be done. I highly recommend the peppermill restaurant to anyone and everyone, and I absolutely rate it a 10 plus.“

“I went here at the recommendation of a friend and wow, this is one of my new favorite places to eat. The restaurant was clean, the woman working the counter was friendly. We got the chicken shish gyros and the hummus appetizer. Everything was delicious beyond measure. I seriously was almost brought to tears. The prices were not bad at all either and the wait was short. I WILL be back. It's conveniently located near several other businesses I frequent so I'm happy to have finally tried this place. I highly recommend them.“

“Saturday lunch. Quiet, and empty indoors. Loved the gyros and avgolemono soup. All fresh and long time family favorites, both for dine in and take out. In the summer we like to sit out by the canal. We took home some avgolemono and spanakopita. If we were not stuffed we would have also had the baklava.“
