One of the main reasons we chose them was the ability to customize the wedding cake, and they exceeded every expectation. They offered an incredible selection of flavors and fillings, allowing us to choose a different combination for each of the four layers. Every single flavor was exceptional, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious the cake was.
In addition to the cake, we ordered an assortment of mini pastries that were fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Michael and his wife also set up the dessert table, creating a stunning display that perfectly complemented the wedding reception.
Throughout the entire process, they were informative, patient, flexible, and a pleasure to work with. They took the time to answer our questions, offer suggestions, and ensure every detail was exactly what we wanted.

Had the smoked pork sandwich with coleslaw on it. A phenomenal pairing Tried the bbq spaghetti which nearly blew me outta my seat!!! The bbq sauce was epic! @strangebird you need to shrink the size of the bbq spaghetti to a fries size and server them with the handhelds in place of French fries with that bbq sauce. Cuz heck yes! That bbq sauce on the side as a dipper 🤩🤩🤩. Great job to the staff. Bigger vehicles might wanna park on the street. If it’s busy, the parking lot is very narrow.”

“We drive 45 minutes for dinner every couple of weeks or as often as we can and it’s always worth it. There’s nothing bad on the menu. The wings are our favorite, the chicken salad is my 7 year old daughter’s go to. the subs, the cheeseburger plates, the pizza, all the condiments and sauces-just try it all. Do not forget the chocolate chip cookies either!”

First litmus test is the quality of bread with a full complement of spices to prep your own dipping oil. Check! Special of the day, Seared Halibut on a bed of risotto, didn’t disappoint, nor did my samples of homemade Rigatoni à la Bolognese (just like Mom’s Sunday sauce) or the Chicken Milanese! Completed the meal with an ample slice of homemade Ricotta Cheesecake with Berry Compote. The owner checked in with us several times. The table service was perfect. The glass enclosed wine cellar in the middle of the dining area completed an impressive ambience and dining experience. Run don’t walk to this most pleasant gastro treat!”

The host and the servers were impeccable. Sassy, funny, and attentive to a T, we were incredibly impressed and immediately relaxed with the atmosphere and the people. The ricotta appetizer was incredibly and reminded me of a favorite dish in Florence Italy, and the swordfish was perfection. Drinks were delicious, so thank you to the obviously talented bartender, as those were very much needed after our long drive. We will definitely make a point of stopping back then next time we are in town.”

I booked them because the manager Joe was sooo friendly, responsive, and helpful right from the first communication. The food was awesome and we got nothing but compliments the entire time. “Avoid the drive-thru in the mornings, roughly 8:30am-10ish am, unless you want to be backed up onto Monroe Ave. The drive-thru and parking lot are not big enough to accommodate the line that builds up. Parking in the lot could also end up trapped by the drive-thru line.
Never had any issues with my order if I go inside to order, but during peak busy hours sometimes drive-thru orders can be wrong (sausage egg and cheese on a bagel instead of the bacon egg and cheese on a croissant I ordered).
Staff work like machines crushing through the high volume periods, though! Props to them because I would not be able to keep it together AND remain polite to customers the way they do.”

Employee was kind when I asked for an explanation for them. Loved finding out it’s a community board of loved pets alive and those also lost. They stated the community could bring in a photo of their pet to place on the wall. Great to see that small moment of recognizing the community and being involved to create that memorial & funny moments for the animals! Thanks for a great experience. For sure will be back.”

It was an end cut, one that even some stores don’t use…let alone a very upscale restaurant. It was also supposed to be med rare n was med. I didn’t send it back because st least it was pink, but it was well past med rare. My crab cake was very good. The lobster and crab mac and cheese was also very good. I’d definitely recommend and go back. Just not sure if I’d get the porterhouse again. Probably go with just the filet.”

Hose 22 Firehouse Grill has such a fun and unique atmosphere. It’s a beautifully restored firehouse, and the classic decor throughout really makes the dining experience memorable.
The absolute highlight for me has to be the sweet potato fries—they are truly TOP NOTCH. I still get a vivid memory of that taste every time I look back at our pictures from that visit! The food is consistently good, and the staff does a great job maintaining the historic charm of the building. If you are in the Rochester area and want a great meal in a one-of-a-kind setting, this is a must-visit spot. Don't skip the fries!”

They were easy to work with, gave us a great deal and checked in a few times to make sure everything was on schedule. A few days after the event they even checked in to see how everything went! This is how you run a business! It’s hard in 2023 to find an establishment with that kind of class and professionalism. My only reason it's not 5 stars is that we had a weird miscommunication with he server. 2 people at the table asked for a side of churros and the other had chicken and churro entree. The server came over and said that they can't do the churros and so the person with the chicken and churros ordered side of fries instead and they 2 others with the sides of churros asked for sides of bacon instead. Fast forward, all of us got our entress instead of 1 person. They waited 15 minutes longer than everyone else. Then all of a sudden 3 sides of churros came out. The server said ok the kitchen is trying these. So now at this point everyone had their replacement sides and now 3 sides of churros. We assumed they "were testing them" since that's what the server said and they would be on the house since now that's too much food. But when we got the bill we were charged for the curros and the other sides. It was just confusing overall with the communication on that and then also we got charged for sides and the cjurros when we wanted 1 or the other not both. The manager, which I think is the owner was very nice and they comped the churros. It sounded like the server told them that we didn't like the churros, but it was more of the principle of being charged. Would definitely go back, I would never hold a miscommunication against a restaurant, but just wanted to voice a few things. Overall cool new spot”

“I went in looking for some chocolates to give as a gift. The young lady working asked if she could help me. I said no, I was looking for chocolates. She suggested I get a Dubai chocolate instead. I said sure. It looked so good I wanted to try something for me. I asked what she suggested and she said to try the Biscoff Bliss mini pancakes. Well, I hadn't had dinner yet, so why not pancakes for dinner!?!? So, add some fresh raspberries, strawberries, blueberries along with some Biscoff sauce, white chocolate drizzle and some lotus crumble. Not the dinner I had planned but oh so much better!! I won't come off my sugar rush for another 3 hours but soooo worth it. A hidden little shop that hasn't been open for 2 years yet. Friendly staff with big smiles and bigger personalities. I'll be going back soon (after dinner some night) to try the crepes.”
