“Went in with my family for the first time since the new owners opened in December 2024, amazing food & drinks! had an amazing experience with our waitress Nicole! she was so friendly and helpful! she recommended the artichoke & broccoli french appetizer & the brussel sprouts, she was spot on wen she said “it’s the best french sauce you will have” , the brussel sprouts, OMG! absolutely amazing! they were cooked and seasoned perfectly! We also ordered wings & she recommended the Sweet Heat BBQ for the sauce , & it is the perfect mix of heat & sweet ! Cocktails & Mocktails were delicious! Nicole gave us an amazing dining experience! We cannot wait to go back & try the smash burgers & fish fry’s! We will definitely be asking for Nicole as our waitress!!“

“Nine of us, including 4 kids (ages 3-12) ate there on the outside patio on 5 August. Food was very good; very tasty and in large quantity. Service was great -- young lady server worked really hard to help keep the kids happy. We spent about 90 minutes there. I'd definitely go back -- very enjoyable experience.“

“This is a great place to come hang out. Definitely gives me the neighborhood vide. We've been coming for a couple months. Joe, Maija, Alex, and Jordan recognize us the minute we walk it. Makes us feel right at home. Food is tasty and the beer is always cold.“

“If you're looking for the authentic Rochester flavor , this is a place to go . After a ball game after a concert at the Rochester Eastman School of Music, or just looking for the best place to get the true tourist experience or local experience of a fine bar and dining experience in Rochester . This is the place in stars, five stars. Don't forget to ask for Toussaint. He is a consummate professional and a very good person who will give you the best bar service you've ever had!!!!“

“Loud but trendy place. Got their goat plate. It was so good! I'm a garbage plate connoisseur and this is a different, elevated take on it. The garlic parm fries and goat cheese make it almost decadent, like something you can't eat too much of at once (which i know is counter-intuitive to the idea of a plate)but very tasty. And the burgers are legit, thick beefy bois. Meat sauce is tasty too. You'll have to add your own mustard if you're into that. $18.50 isn't cheap but it's worth. Only thing I would wish for is that their website allowed for a tipping option, since I don't carry cash.

Oh yeah, I got another plate from them and added caramelized onions and a side of their beer cheese. 10/10“

“The Hideaway hosted an event for us in their back room and it an amazing experience. Food and service were far beyond what we expected. We were having a hard time booking a different venue for our event so I reached out to Max just in case it fell through. Max responded to my inquiry right away and set up a call to discuss the plans for our event. He offered to hold the room for a couple days while we made our decision, which was unexpected and very much appreciated. Based on that interaction alone, we canceled on the original venue we had been communicating with for months and went with Max and the Hideaway. I wish I had known they did events earlier. They were amazing! They were flexible on the time, let us arrange the tables in the room as needed, were very personable and somehow knew exactly when to come by to get us more food and drinks. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing experience... I'd rate them higher if I could! If you are looking for an event or party venue in Rochester, look no futher“

“When my work was looking for a place to have our holiday party, we found Russell Station which made for a perfect evening. Not only was the whole place clean and decorated for Christmas, everyone enjoyed the delicious food/drinks and company! The owner Chris is very hospitable and our server, Val was a sweetheart. “We had our high school reunion here over the weekend, and everything was fantastic! The food came out right on time, the staff was incredibly friendly, and Chris was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and on the day of the event.

The staff also did a great job keeping everything running smoothly by clearing tables quickly, and the bar line stayed short all night. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend them for any event!“

“I love this establishment. It has that small town, homey feel when you are there. The staff is Amazing. The Food is Delish! Go meet one of the owners, John. He'll treat you like you are his best friend. You have the options of darts, quick draw and tons of tv's to watch your favorite sports. It's always a great time when you are there! They have a nice outdoor area too!“

“Now, this was my first visit to Folgers East End. I will say the drink I had was good and affordable. However, I didn’t like that the day I went there was no food available at all. I like the venue was easy for all my friends to gather together and catch up. I would like to see them bring back the food at a later hour because I would have order from you instead of leaving to order from somewhere else. They did have quite the selection for drinks and I could taste it first before buying it. Overall, I’d like to see them do more with this Venue and we had a good time!“
