“I recently moved here and found out they were doing this promotion where they are giving away free cheesecake! I came here to try them for the first time and it is some of the best cheesecake I’ve had ever, and i would consider myself a cheesecake connoisseur! I got the plain vanilla and it was so perfect. “First time coming and it was an incredible experience. I enjoyed each dish I had. The blend of spices in each unique dish was indescribable. The Chai was the best I've ever had. I don't identify as vegan or vegetarian but this will be a regular spot for me going forward. I love the atmosphere and it was clear to see this was a special spot as regulars knew the staff by name.“

“Founders Café is a Rochester treasure. AMAZING food - everything on the menu is great, even if I tend to get the same thing most visits because I love their salads so much. But everything else - quiche, sandwiches, baked goods - are all phenomenal. Very friendly service and we're definitely always made to feel at home. Love it here.“
“This posh place stays busy, so just remember to make a reservation unless you want to eat at the bar! Now, everything I ordered was big and too much! Had leftovers for days!!! ?The ceiling is exposed, the cocktails are strong, and the menu is niche! Dimly lit, you can access this restaurant from outside or inside of Village Gate. And don't forget the food is delicious! My falafel was a bit overcooked, but hey... ??♀️“
“We held the Aquinas Football Banquet at Chef's Event Center on Jan 7th. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! Jill and her team executed on everything we asked for and more. Everyone was so pleasant to work with and the food was delicious. We also used them for our team Dinners throughout the season. The players and coaches loved the different entrees each week, they said it was the best food they have ever had for a team dinner. Thank you Jill Mike and team for everything throughout our season. We hope to build on this relationship for years to come.“
“Lucano is truly a gem in Rochester, there is nowhere else like it! The service is so warm and friendly and of course the food incredible. They always have a great list of rotating specials, I highly recommend trying the frito misto and barramundi specials if they’re available!“

Even if I’m doing a quick market trip, I grab a delicious coconut bar, breakfast blueberry and banana one or soup to bring and enjoy later because I know it’s going to taste great and be packed with flavor. “We made a reservation for I believe 9 and we ended up early. We got sat right away. No photos of the food because we were both starving. We got the Ribeye with lump blue crab. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had. We also had the black grouper dish. A little salty but would eat again. Next time we come back, will just be to try the delicious looking apps and some dessert! Overall good night out.“
“The food here is really good! They have a limited menu, which allows their food to be delicious. They even have a vegetarian option, which I feel like you don't often see on limited menus. Our server was very attentive and checked on us several times without being over the top. The inside of the restaurant is nice and quiet...easy to have a conversation.“
“Just finished my first Bean Supreme Custard Pie. It was awesome - moist, chewy, sweet, and Vegan!!! Best vegan dessert I've ever tasted. The public market location had a mouth watering display case. I think I hear their carrot cake calling me from my refrigerator. Oh happy day!“

“The Owl House is one of those places I expected to dislike, but came away pleasantly surprised. It's a converted house, redone in a somewhat arch and artsy manner, with Alice in Wonderland motifs all over the walls and old-style cutlery and furniture to match. The food is over-priced, like all food everywhere nowadays, and the dishes quirky. And yet I've always enjoyed the meals, and had a good time there. Maybe it's the music, or lack thereof. No overpowering rap, throbbing techno, or wall-to-wall Superbowl. Just a nice quiet attractive place to sit, thoughtfully prepared food, and pleasant and unobstrusive service. The last meal I had was some intricate sampling of differently seasoned potatoes, but each one was just delightful, and the atmosphere was just subliminal enough that I could delight in my date too. I've never had a bad time or a bad meal here--elsewhere, for sure, but not here. I'll be coming back, I'm sure.“
