“Ate here while visiting family in the area. Service was excellent and the food was great. I ordered the Cajun catfish with Harlem potato salad and coleslaw as my choice of sides. A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.“

“We went to this wonderful restaurant today for the first time, and it was unbelievably great! The man who waited on us answered all of our questions, the environment is warm and inviting, the service was the best ever, service was great, and we were not hurried in any way. Prices are reasonable and the quantity of food is spot on for hungry people. And of course, don't forget the desserts. There is a whole case of desserts to choose, and they were DELICIOUS. We will definitely go back and go back again and again.“

“Best tacos in the city. You'll wait a while for them and you'll smell like them when you leave but it's absolutely worth it. Order ahead if you don't want to wait. Approachable and friendly service. Al Pastor tacos are the best of them all. Parking is not the best but there are spots on the surrounding streets. Will be back again and again.“

“The food was delicious, I just wish there was more of a variety. I got the Blackened Beef Tenderloin tips which tasted good but should have had more meat, most of the plate was mashed potatoes. There should be more beef options for dinner, ie: ribeye, prime rib, NY strip steak, short ribs, etc. The service was okay, a little slow. I ordered sparkling water and it came in a bottle with no glass, which was kind of odd. I had to request a glass and then the glass she gave me was tiny. It was crowded in there and a little loud, tables are too close together.“

Cooked to perfection, and as 2 chefs on a date who are highly critical of others cooking, we were BOTH impressed. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, and presentation was impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I took some pics & vids and have a smaller social media of 22K that i plan on directing to go to this extremely good restaurant if they are in the Rochester area. The cocktails are presented with class and flare as well. If you’re looking for that perfect place for a romantic date night dinner, business meeting or just a foodie… this is a MUST-GO! “This was a 1980’s music themed 60th birthday party with local and out of town attendees. It was fantastic in all regards! The venue was awesome, everything was well organized, the bartender was great and the 1980’s themed cocktails that they created were a huge hit! I was planning a big entrance as Joan Jett singing I love rock and roll (karaoke) and am not tech savvy. I wanted to understand the sound system, app, and mic’s and was nervous about whether it would work for what I wanted to do. I contacted Kristin (the event coordinator) in a panic the day before the party and she and Tim (the owner) called me so that Tim could explain things and reassure me which he succeeded in doing! He was also there at the start of the event to go through things with me and make sure everything was set which alleviated my anxiety and let the *epic* performance go without a hitch, setting the tone for a wonderful night. It was a great space and set up and everyone had a great time!“

“A classic Italian family pizza spot that is clearly doing something right.

I ordered a half cheese, half peppers and onions large pizza for a family birthday and it came out smelling exactly like the pizza my mom used to make when we were kids.

Everyone who works there clearly has decades of history between them, communicating in quick glances, jokes about family members, and sharing a warmth that you can only get in a place that is doing something well. Definitely want to try more of their specialty menu at some point and will be back for more.“

“My girlfriends and I love going to Original Steve's Diner in Victor. The restaurant has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. You can tell the staff really loves their jobs and they give excellent attention and service to patrons. The owner John and his wife Elizabeth have truly mastered the art of upscale diner cuisine. Although many people love the ultra delicious pancakes, I was ecstatic when they added crepes. The cheesecake crepes with berries paired with a side of bacon are the perfect pairing of sweet and savory. I will definitely be a regular customer.“

“I’m embarrassed to say this was my husband and mines first time here being that the restaurant has been around for 20 years! Nevertheless, we couldn’t be happier to have stumbled upon such a low key, humble and delicious restaurant. The parking is a bit difficult as the lot is free but very tight. We had dinner here and from the chai tea to the plates we had (stew, salad, plantain fritters, gnocchi and greens), everything was flavourful, perfectly spiced and delicious. The pricing isn’t bad at all either. They prefer cash payment, but they fo take card. Highly recommend for anyone following a vegan/plant-based/vegetarian diet, since the menu is entirely friendly to these diets. We will definitely be back!“
