Branca Midtown is a new, clean restaurant with friendly and professional staff. The Ricotta Crostini appetizer and Caesar salad were simple and delicious. The Tagliatelle with scallops and Spaghetti Carbonara were both excellent, with fresh, homemade pasta. The blueberry lemon olive oil cake was a delightful way to end the meal. Prices are a bit high, but the quality justifies it. The Carbonara could use more pork and less peas, but overall, the food is highly recommended. The service was exceptional, with a server who was attentive to allergies. The wedge salad, brussels sprouts, Black Garlic Pappardelle, and swordfish special were all highlights. While the atmosphere was somewhat lacking and the menu slightly limited, the overall experience was enjoyable and worth returning for.
