“Been to the Pizza Shoppe several times in the past month and a half. Let’s start with service. Fast, friendly and fantastic. I got my pizza nice and hot each time and my chocolate chip cookies were to die for. Seriously, maybe the best I have ever had.I have had several different varieties of this Detroit Style Pizza and it is second to none. It is now my go to for Pizza without a doubt.I also love the small pizza shoppe atmosphere not like one these chain pizza shops that has no personality. It was quiet and pleasant to just take a seat and enjoy my pizza. “Enjoyed an excellent meal last night with my wife. Berry salad was the perfect starter. Lobster ravioli with white wine cream sauce and langoustine lobster tails was scrumptious. I had the cioppino special and the broth was spiced just right for dipping with the garlic bread pieces. Clams, calamari, and mussels were tender and tasty. Salmon was a nice addition.We let our server make several wine choices that we enjoyed. Service was excellent and attentive. Pistachio cake dessert was a nice finish.We will return soon to try the honey lemon scallops and several of the shareables.Highly recommended!“

I've had the creative pizzas and salads a few times, and my husband gets the sandwiches. It never disappoints! “A great dinner at Fiorella tonight. A cozy spot by the public market, this went under our radar for a long time until some friends recommended we give it a try.The food was incredible (for the most part), as well as the service. We came unbeknownst to us on gnocchi night (Thursdays), and the pizza special was meatball which we had to try. My main, the sausage and polenta, was absolutely delicious. I watched a lot of the chicken cutlet dishes come out while we were waiting and was wondering if I made the wrong choice, but I definitely didn't. Next time I'll definitely give the cutlets a try.Dessert was also killer. The lemon cookies with a scoop of the sweet cream gelato were incredible.One downside and what I am seeing on other reviews that I can corroborate is the Cacio e Pepe was just bland pasta and some cheese. Visually this dish looked amazing so I'm not sure how it missed on flavor so bad. A minor blemish on an overall wonderful dinner.Can't wait to come back here.“

“First of all, I love their pizza. On my top 3 list. What was so special was that they helped us with my daughter's gender reveal. Also because the owner made the pizza himself for this occasion and used the sauce to make a G for a girl. All the staff came out to help us with this celebration and they were all so kind and thoughtful. They said it was the first time they ever did a gender reveal and on the spot too. I've eaten pizza all over Rochester and hands down La Famiglia is our favorite place to go for pizza...pizza mervigliosa.The thin crust is crispy on the bottom and chewy on the top. The sauce is not overly seasoned nor salty, and you can taste tomato rather than oregano or some other additive. Lots of toppings. “I love this cute spot in the Winton area. My friend was running late so I went to the bar and had a great. The bartender was great. She asked if I wanted their special, I can't recall the name of the drink, but it was grapefruit base margarita. It was delicious. My friend got there we sat in their outdoor area. It is a cute setup and a nice evening sitting outside. The waitress ( I didn't catch her name, but I want to assume that she is new at being a server ??) told us the specials and I asked if their chicken Tuscan pasta dish was the same dish that was posted on their FB page yesterday and she said she didn't know because she didn't work that day. I asked for a straw and never received it. She didn't refill our waters when needed, and the biggest thing was when she brought our check with our cards, she was trying to multi-task with having a tray of drinks and trying to put the booklet onto our table, she ending tossing it to our table. I have never gone to a restaurant where they toss anything onto my table. I do hope she was new at being a server and it that never happens again. (The food we ordered was delicious. We had the spring pea and asparagus Risotto, creamy and absolutely tasty. We also ordered the Fungi pizza, if you love mushrooms, this is the pizza you will love. Crust was crispy, and the combination of the ingredients was great!)“

“Found a gem this past weekend! Clean cozy little restaurant on Buffalo Rd. Went for breakfast and it was sooooo good. Typical breakfast menu with a couple of specials including Frittatas. The number one thing that impressed me most was everything was hot. Not warm it was hot, which is not easy to do. Hash browns were crispy, pancakes and French toast were tender, sausage was tasty and not greasy, eggs were hot! The waitress was attentive and friendly and our coffee mugs were never empty. Do yourselves a favor and try Ezzys!“

“My vodka sauce was very spicy but they did do another dish for me without the spice I did appreciate that. It was too noisy but it is a pretty restaurant. the waitress was nice and pleasant but should not lean over customers as a rule when passing things , she seemed to do this a lot especially at one end of the table where someone was sitting and he did not like it. “Don’t be fooled by the mall location. Cosimo’s pizza is seriously the best we’ve had in Rochester. Their pizza has great crust that is light, has perfect “pizza oven crunch” and is flavorful. Their sauce and cheese also have great flavor, and toppings are always fresh and cooked perfectly. The calzones are so filling and to die for. I don’t know why it took us so long to realize we could order full pizzas ahead of time but this is our new pizza night in go-to.“
