As a resident of Clarendon, I was sad to see Fazool’s move from Brockport to Gates; however, the new location did not disappoint (even as long distance take-out). I cannot speak highly enough about their spinaci pizza. It’s beyond delicious. A place that has food as yummy as they do is worth checking out – regardless of your travel time! Cannot recommend enough! You won’t be disappointed! 10/10
Excellent service for arriving when they had just opened for the day. The lunch specials were great and very reasonably priced. My eggplant parmesan included a side. I chose the French onion soup, very tasty. My friend chose the angel hair pasta with a meatball and sausage. The meatball was beautifully seasoned and tender. This was my first visit and I will be returning and recommending Fazool's to my friends.

Based on reviews, Fazool's Italian Bistro is a gem in Rochester with a nice atmosphere and great staff who make customers feel welcomed and right at home. The food is phenomenal, very authentic, and well-presented. Highly recommended menu items include the chicken riggis, which was fabulous, as well as the drunken mussels and artichoke ravioli. The homemade soups, pasta dinners, and drinks from the bar are also great choices. However, some experiences varied. One diner found the chicken parm excellent but the lasagna noodles overcooked to mush with way too much cheese and lacking flavor. Another noted the food was average, with a basket of only 3 small slices of bread to avoid waste, and felt rushed when the entrée was served too soon. Despite these inconsistencies, the staff is described as super helpful and kind, and the chef makes food that is delicious. It is easy to see why the restaurant is always busy.
