“We were recommended to eat here by a few friends and we were not disappointed. We were seated quickly. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the risotto which was cooked to perfection! My boyfriend order the buffalo pasta which he loved! The garlic butter was outstanding. The staff was exceptional and attentive. I am not sure if the woman checking on tables at the end of dinner was the owner or not but she made us feel so welcome. I highly recommend this place.“

“The 2 slice cup and char pizza combo is excellent! Slices are huge and you get a drink.
The price is very reasonable $7.66.
Unfortunately, the calzones although huge in size - were a disappointment. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken (hot) it was a bit doughy and dry on the inside. My wife ordered the pepperoni calzone with mozzarella (instead of ricotta) and she didn’t care for it. The wings were ok but the lack of sauce was disappointing to say the least. I guess you have to ask for & specify how you want everything cooked these days.“

They have done a nice job masking the noise level of their beautiful interior that is full of character. We interacted with 4 staff that were all very personable, professional, and efficient. The food was all exceptional and the wine list very nice. We were impressed that the owner checked on us several times, he definitely cares and pays attention to detail. “Celebrated my birthday at Casa de Pasta and it was great. My husband and I enjoyed a drink at the bar, and the bartender was friendly and made a great martini. At our table, our waitress seemed new but was friendly and the service was pleasant. The herbed whipped butter and bread were great. My gnocchi with a meatball was delicious, and my husband enjoyed his seafood fra diavolo. Very nice way to celebrate a birthday date night!“

The food was nothing short of amazing...from the apps, to the main course, even dessert...everything was delicious with beautiful presentation. I really love Kathy as she is a patient of my Mom and she has such an amazing restaurant that I die for whenever I’m in town. My Mom and I will definitely be coming to Monroe’s over Christmas to eat good food! I love all the staff and I especially miss Andy he was so nice to me! “I am home for the weekend and haven’t had it since High school decades ago. Wings still strong. The pizza flavor is lovely but the crust is still trash. This is like a girl you’re dating that’s not the best but she’s yours so you always got her back. That’s this.“

“I don't often recommend a pizza place, but this small town place is outstanding. Generous portions, rotating $10 deals, quiet, clean establishment, and quite a variety.

It is pizza from THIS area and Culture which I find is about halfway between thin crust of NYC and deep dish of Chicago.

I grew up on this style pizza, and it's well cooked without being overdone, overoiley, or over cakey.

“I just love it when I'm traveling and find a new eating establishment that piques my interest.
It had been many many moons ago that I moved out of the NY area. And I've been hankering for some authentic NY style ? ever since.
That's why when my sister, my nephew and I searched and came across Salvatore's. It was a no brainer. And we are so happy with our decision.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was very laid back and comfortable with ample seating indoors and out. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. We got a brief history of how and who opened the pizzeria. Very interesting information.
And when it came down to ordering, my sis went with Ham Calzone, my nephew went with wings and I, a couple classic pepperoni slices. And we could not have been happier with our orders. Everything was superbly presented and tasted great. The vibe was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
I highly recommend anyone needing their pizza fix to stop into Salvatore's. You won't be disappointed.“
