The best in this part of town for sure. It is in the historic old building on Monroe Avenue but it is huge with lots of wonderful servers there. Really diverse menu, love the salad selections. Huge bar with lots of fun people...I try to go weekly
Nice location, friendly staff, but some of the entrees were not up to expectations. The Verdita is lacking in flavor and sauce.
We hosted a baby shower for about 35 guests in the Vintage Room at Monroe’s in March 2025, and everything was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the venue itself was beautiful. We received so many compliments from our guests, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Jeremy and his team for any future events you may be planning.

Monroes Restaurant offers a nice interior and cozy ambiance, especially in the booths. Their food is a highlight, with well-cooked and seasoned proteins, and amazing appetizers like the potato croquettes. Scallops and sugar cookie cheesecake are popular menu items. The restaurant also provides excellent catering services, with hot and ready-to-serve food, and helpful staff.
Customers praise the great food and gluten-free options, as well as the excellent liquor selections. The service is generally exceptional, with the staff accommodating special requests and providing attentive service. The scallop dish is a favorite, with the scallops cooked perfectly. However, some customers have found the food to be a bit too salty.
While the overall dining experience is positive, a few customers have noted issues with the atmosphere, such as the restaurant being very loud and the chairs being low and uncomfortable. Additionally, there have been reports of slow service and issues with the preparation of the steak.
