“Came to Dinner tonight to celebrate our daughter’s birthday , we are not from the area , she attends st.john fisher and we were looking for a good Italian Dinner. All 6 of us had incredible Dinners . From start to finish all was amazing including our waiter who has a great sense of humor . We definitely will be returning soon . Thanks for a great evening to celebrate our Daughter! Seafood FraDiavlo , tortellini Gorgonzola, shrimp, and scallops scampi pasta were just some of the delicious dinners we had !!! Won’t be disappointed :)“

Cooked to perfection, and as 2 chefs on a date who are highly critical of others cooking, we were BOTH impressed. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, and presentation was impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I took some pics & vids and have a smaller social media of 22K that i plan on directing to go to this extremely good restaurant if they are in the Rochester area. The cocktails are presented with class and flare as well. If you’re looking for that perfect place for a romantic date night dinner, business meeting or just a foodie… this is a MUST-GO! “I had an incredible experience at Fiorella. This restaurant is truly something special! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was gorgeous: warm, lively, and filled with people enjoying themselves.

The food was absolutely delicious across the board. I really appreciated the focused menu, which made everything feel intentional (like you know whatever you order is going to be excellent rather than being overwhelmed with too many choices.)

My friend ordered a pizza, which was fantastic, and I went with one of the specials: an angel hair pasta with shrimp and clams. It was outstanding, and I hope they make it a permanent addition to the menu! The drinks were also wonderful and complemented the meal perfectly.

Overall, we absolutely loved our experience and will definitely be back. Fiorella is a gem in Rochester.“

“Late night arrival into Rochester on a Tuesday evening and I chanced upon Branca Midtown via Resy. We took a chance and I am so so glad we did. This place was divine. The host and the servers were impeccable. Sassy, funny, and attentive to a T, we were incredibly impressed and immediately relaxed with the atmosphere and the people. The ricotta appetizer was incredibly and reminded me of a favorite dish in Florence Italy, and the swordfish was perfection. Drinks were delicious, so thank you to the obviously talented bartender, as those were very much needed after our long drive. We will definitely make a point of stopping back then next time we are in town.“

“We have used The Garlic Pit for about 3 years now for an end of school year luncheon for all of the faculty to thank them for their hard work over the year. This has become a favorite for the faculty and we love putting this on for them. Everything is delicious, fresh and cost effective for feeding a large group of adults. Thank you for everything!“

“After a tip from friends, we checked out Merchants Wood Fired Pizza & Bistro. It's in an out of the way location, but is so worth your trip. Nestled in a city neighborhood, this place is delicious with a super cute patio. Food gave off an "Old School Italian American" vibe in the best possible way. We enjoyed flavorful housemade meatballs in a great sauce. Burrata was tasty with the most delicious charred tomatoes (we omitted the prosciutto at one diner's preference). The salads were just the right size if you wanted to have those and split a pizza, which two of us did. The Funghi Pizza was tasty and had just the right amount of truffle (some places go overboard). This was a super hit -- very crave-able! For our pickier diner, the Spicy Cup Pepperoni Pizza was the perfect option. Both pizzas had a nice crust, baked nicely, and a perfect amount of cheese. Service was friendly and attentive. Everyone greatly enjoyed the meal. We'll definitely return.“

“I took my elderly mother here for lunch with my 15 year old because she has been craving Italian and it was close to where my mother lives. We couldn't stop talking about how nice of an atmosphere it was!! There was road and parking lot construction and since we weren't use to the area , we didn't know there was a ramp to help my mother, but every staff member was so courteous and friendly helping my mom and my 15 year old get them both in (while I went to park the car). The excellent customer service didn't stop there......... throughout our meal, water was filled up and they especially made sure my mother was comfortable! We were all also impressed how wonderful the food was! We stopped there on a whim, but you definitely have some new customers!“

“Rizzi’s was the perfect place to host my bridal shower. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and effortless. We were greeted by the beautiful Tevis, who was behind the bar serving everything herself, which made service fast and seamless. Guests enjoyed bright, fun mimosa options including classic, pomegranate, and pineapple, along with perfectly crafted Bloody Marys garnished with jumbo shrimp, olive and lime skewers, bacon, and celery. The drinks immediately set a fun, celebratory tone and made everyone feel taken care of right away. The ambiance was cozy, intimate, and full of classic Italian charm, creating the perfect setting to celebrate and capture meaningful moments without feeling overwhelming. The food was outstanding. “We were recently in the Olive Garden in Victor NY and had a wonderful experience! Our server Mofosa was absolutely fantastic- we had a full table of 9 (4 being kids)! He interacted with the youngest being 4! The food was delicious and just an all around great experience!!“

“We recently celebrated our anniversary at Pane Vino. They provided us a very quaint seat overlooking the river. They have done a nice job masking the noise level of their beautiful interior that is full of character. We interacted with 4 staff that were all very personable, professional, and efficient. The food was all exceptional and the wine list very nice. We were impressed that the owner checked on us several times, he definitely cares and pays attention to detail. We plan to return here on our next visit to the area.“

“We have been to Branca Basin a couple of times and really enjoy the food. Everything has been delicious! I would order all of the same dishes again, but look forward to trying new dishes, too.

All of our servers have also been wonderful. Each time we’ve gone, we’ve been seated in the back room. I’d prefer to be in the main dining space. I’m sure we can note that as a preference in future reservations. We’ll be back!“

“My server Christine was absolutely amazing and attentive throughout my experience, I was impressed with her professionalism and good energy, so much so that it enraged me when I overheard the bartender, Mischa yelled across the bar at Christine to “pay attention to the door” where she looked away for a millisecond. As someone who has worked in restaurants for over 10 years I felt the tension in the employees interactions the moment I walked in and didn’t understand why until I heard Mischa being disrespectful to Christine. I took the time to ask him to come over and I expressed my concerns and he claimed he would apologize however I highly doubt that he will“

“The best in this part of town for sure. It is in the historic old building on Monroe Avenue but it is huge with lots of wonderful servers there. Really diverse menu, love the salad selections. Huge bar with lots of fun people...I try to go weekly“

“I was in the area and my coworkers had always suggested I drop by this location. I live in the city so I'm not out here terribly often. Dropped in for a slice and I was very impressed. I kind of see it like a quality mix of the slightly doughy pizza that Rochester knows and likes, and a NY style slice that I'm partial to. Quality crunch without being hard. Good cheese blend, sauce to cheese ratio. All good stuff. Very pleasant. The buffalo chicken pies looked terrific so I'll probably grab one in the near future.“

You have donated pizzas all over the community, but just today, I learned you will be donating pizza to our children at St. Kateri for their last Field day of the school's existence! Typically the children would be given hot dogs, watermelon, and freeze pops, but we were told this year there was no money to do so...as many already know, the school is closing down for good (as St. Kateri that is). It will become Chesterton Academy, and our loving school community is officially disbanded at the end of this school year, all needing to find new homes...children and teachers alike! When we learned that yet one more tradition was coming to an end, you swooped in and came through for our children. Just received an email that you will be providing pizza for our kids on their Field Day this Wednesday. THANK YOU!!!!!! We are barely holding it together as we watch our children enjoy their school for the last time these next 6 school days, and this is at least one bright spot we can be thankful for in such a sorrowful time!!!“
