About Capone's Italian Eatery Irondequoit

Capone's Italian Eatery Irondequoit is a welcoming and friendly restaurant praised for its delicious food and warm atmosphere. Guests often mention the friendly smiles and kind staff that make visitors feel at home. The menu offers a variety of tasty options, including subs, pizza slices, and specialty dishes like the chicken parmesan with vodka and pesto sauce, which many find outstanding. The "Capone Sub" is especially loved for its size and fresh taste, with some describing it as huge and worth every penny. The pizza menu features favorites such as the Siciliano, a Sicilian-style pizza with a well-balanced crust, and the “plate” pizza, a creative take inspired by the local trash plate. The vodka sausage pizza is also highlighted for its rich flavor. While most reviews are very positive, a few mention that the extra large Supremo pizza was a bit dry due to less sauce than requested, and some specific subs, like the Philly steak and turkey sub, did not meet expectations. Overall, the restaurant is appreciated for its quality food, prideful staff, and family-owned charm, making it a great spot for those seeking flavorful Italian favorites in a friendly setting.

the Philly steak was cheap cheese with green peppers that ruined the taste.
the turkey sub little turkey not as good as Wegmans. Caesar salad sub mush salad and ok chicken
not worth the money.

spent over $200 on a catering order for what tasted like canned sauce with a crap load (way too much) seasoning added
also got 2 pizzas that had next to NO sauce
oh well lesson learned 😠

My best friend and I drove 45 mins to check this place out and it was worth the drive. Large servings, delicious food, best Italian deli we have been too!!!
