“One day me and the crew decided to stop in for some lunch. As we all know I'm a foodie so I can get picky on places with service and the quality of food. Straight home inn is the spot to go if your looking for a good philly cheese steak and some wings. Both were very delicious. Prices were average and service was friendly.“
“I'm always thirsty as a camel thats been on a 7 day trip through the desert and that means I go to the linwood. Always parched, and when Raider Rick is there which is anytime they are open for business I end up staying even longer because it takes me so long to clean up his clock. You should see it when I'm done, you can eat off the minute hand. tick tock tick tock“
“Family owned with all the details covered, very nicely kept facility. The owner might even make you the best steak sandwich around.Lots of other food specials. The private backyard is fantastic with fun games and places to lounge around. Even a Fire pit.“
“Honestly Erik was the coolest dude on the planet. He made our experience so fun. I would come back 10 times over for that guy.I rated food 1 star cus I don’t think there’s food. But also I didn’t ask Erik about food so… idk. But the drinks were good and the axe throwing was fun!“
“Quaint & clean. The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY. They don't serve food but we were able to Uber eats a pizza. The entertainment was fantastic. We saw Amanda Anne Platt and the Honeycutters. It was so good that I think we're coming back for their show tonight!“
“5 stars all the way! 1 of my favorites. Friendly, hardworking staff. 3 or 4 wait staff tending to our needs for a table of 9 as you would expect. Water glasses filled constantly, drinks delivered in a timely manner. The food is always good, never a bad plate. A must try...“
“Dog friendly. Tasty lil chicken sando. Cider/ beer flight. If that's whatcha want, this place has it all! We did a lil work retreat here and it was a little distracting because the music vibe was more interesting than the work stuff but we made it through. I'm gonna go ahead and give them five stars even though I would've wanted more food options. But they are literally called a beer company so I can't really fault them for that.“
“We had a fish fry on a Friday night and wow it was definitely worth the money. We stayed for a band after. The Bartenders were friendly and I'll definitely be checking it out again. Fish fry night is popular so reservations or getting there early is a must.Parking: Parking was up the street but worth the walk.“
“Great place. We brought our son and a few of his friends today to shoot pool. They had a ton of fun. The staff was super friendly, and the food was good!Totally reminded me of walking into the old Webster Billiards back in the mid 90's, except a lot nicer, and cleaner.“
“I stopped in for brunch on a Sunday morning. I ordered the egg, cheese, and apple-bacon breakfast sandwich. It came on a homemade biscuit that was incredible! The waitress was polite and service was relatively quick. The atmosphere was really nice. What a really nice place to sit and catch up with a friend. Delicious!“
“Been meaning to go for years. Had a fish fry, it was delish. Good portions. We also had an order of Mac and cheese, also good and had enough for leftovers the next day. Had an appetizer of artichoke and spinach crositi , very good. I am actually looking into booking a room for a group bunch. Cold beer, we will be “
“Love this place. Wings and burgers are exceptional. In fact, wings are some of the best in the area. Haven’t tried the pizza yet but everyone loves it. Reasonable prices. Service is top notch. Great atmosphere. Fun people. A good place to watch the game.and have a few drinks.“
“You’ll find Pourin’ Joy to live up its name and then some. The space is the perfect size, the dart room has enough room for two groups of people to duke it out, and for others to observe and root for their favorite dart player.A staple on Park Ave, and always a great time.“
“Luis was probably the most attentive, well-informed and kind server I've ever had in Rochester. NYC level service, down to him folding my wife's napkin while she was in the restroom. Props to the pastry chef too, the baklava cheesecake was creative and delicious. I'm going to crave it randomly for years to come, guaranteed. Overall, the meal was also great, but that's to be expected here.“
“Quality spot with a quality staff. Great atmosphere in a well used space (inside Park Meigs Mall), with excellent TV accomodations for watching any sport. The classic pub vibes offered by Dead Red are a perfect addition to the neighborhood, and while there is no kitchen, there are plenty of offerings in area to check out before or after your drinks. Corner of Park and Meigs with plenty of options for street parking.“
“My husband and I came here for the first time this past weekend. We were immediately seated after confirming our reservation, and our server (I wish we got his name/remembered!) was amazing!! He was very good about telling us where everything was sourced from, and he was also very convincing about how good the food they served was. I was interested in the Amish Chicken but was skeptical since I had no idea what a cream sherry was. When I asked him about it, he answered that it was rich in flavor and that he really enjoyed it. He must have still sensed my hesitancy and said, "Would you like to try some?", which I was so surprised about! He brought me over a small bowl with the cream sherry, and it was really good (savory with slight tartness to it). Everything we ordered was amazing, but it was his service that really made our experience so wonderful - thank you SO much!! We will definitely be back again!“
“Always delicious food with great servers. We haven't had the opportunity to hear live music yet, but the patio is our favorite spot to dine when weather allows.Kid-friendliness: Great with kids. They have crayons and coloring books for great entertainment. Good kids menu.“
“Dan's pub has been a staple in my life for years. I met some amazing friends here and I always felt like this place was "home". It has some old-school charm with it and is a staple in the Wedge. Great company, great convo and fun regulars.“
“Great food! Great music! The sound was on point! This little venue is so intimate. It just invites people in to have nothing but a good time. This thing you might be small but the bands they bring in are not! I recommend this place highly if you're looking to have a good time with some good music and some good people!“
“Very relaxing atmosphere. Employees are relaxed and seem to enjoy bar humor. Food was very good. We had buffalo chicken dip. Omg! Yes! Wings. Yup. Worth it! Loaded Cajun fries and beef on a wick. Now, i will say tbat most are right, it is a little dry but, when you add the juice they provide its AMAZING! I will also say that the restaurant should give a bigger (or 2 of the current size) ajus for a regular beef an a wick. Recommended. Ohhh and the beer is green for st Patty's!!“
“Fantastic!Cocktails, food, service and atmosphere are perfect. I highly recommend the deviled eggs as appetizers. My friend had the salmon and ate every last bite. I had the burger and cleaned my plate. It's a little pricey, but worth it. Also easy parking if their lot is full there is another lot right next door. Make reservations and enjoy!“
“First time at The Sheffield, on a Friday evening. Shepherds Pie was excellent, service too. Both the dining room and bar were jam packed, with an appropriate noise level!Parking was sparse, but it was Friday after 5 pm when we left.Overall I really liked The Sheffield, will be back!!“
“Gluten free pizza and mocktails! What a fun place for food and drinks! They have a wood oven they make all their pizzas in, minus the gluten free.Gluten free is prepared and cooked separately to reduce cross contamination. Be prepared to wait +20 minutes for a gf pizza.I ordered the pizza special on the gluten free crust. Not bad! It’s a bit thicker (not full Detroit but not NYC thin). Overall, not bad. I would order it again, but this wouldn’t be my first choice for a GF pizza. The crust fine, a little dense and premade. They have a couple of fun mocktail options that aren’t some overpriced lemonade junk. I would recommend going for the atmosphere and drinks (alcoholic or not). I’m excited to see what else I can try on the menu. The staff are so friendly and helpful! All my questions were answered and it was so fun watching everyone cook at the pizza oven!Street parking only.“
“Checked this place out a few weekends ago and loved it. The food was great, had the buffalo garlic Parm wings. Super friendly staff and was made to feel at home. Joe's excitement in regards to live music will keep me coming back. Was lucky to get to see Todd East perform. Highly recommend.“
“Absolutely love Marshall Street Bar & Grill. They have great food, a great drink selection and phenomenal staff. We go almost every Monday for trivia and it never disappoints. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area. Their plate is worth it alone.“
“I love this place! Lived in Greece 60 years and it’s hands down my favorite restaurant-bar on the west side. Classy and small, amazing selection of whiskeys, cozy, beautifully lit, astonishingly good food- Flight West has it all. Except one thing. If you’re going to offer so much beautiful scotch, you’ve got to get Drambuie. Nothing beats a Rusty Nail as an after dinner drink. I’d like to give it a 4.9 stars. Try the bao bao buns! Last night had the Kung Pau calamari - fabulous. Wasn’t a huge fan of the octopus. Surprisingly good charcuterie. I’m rooting for them to become a permanent part of the town.“
“Our first time at this place. We heard the fish fry was good and it was. As was the broiled haddock. We sat at the bar and were very pleased with the two bartenders as well as the hostess/waitress. All hard working and friendly. The vibe is nice too. The bartender said the place has been a bar since the 1800's and Dicky's for decades. A good mix of young and old in the crowd. We definitely will be back and recommend it to others.“
“Kombucha on tap was absolutely delicious and I'm looking forward to coming back for a flight sometime. Great space that opens up to the fresh air.Updating my review to report the Scoby I got there last week is alive and well getting ready to make Kombucha soon!“
“Food was fabulous. I am a gluten-free vegetarian so I sometimes find it hard to get anything but salad. Not here! Had a Beyond burger on a GF roll. It was wonderful. My granddaughter had an absolutely delicious (according to her) chicken sandwich and we had ice cream for dessert. Our waitress, Beth, was very friendly and took great care of us and the decor is very fun and nostalgic. We are already making plans to head back to the area this summer and we will definitely be stopping in.“
“I tried this bar for the first time and had the catfish which was well seasoned andDelicious. I also ordered a 18-piece chicken wings. They were big sized wings not the smallLittle ones I got garlic parm and a bbq sauce that he whipped up. Got to try them first to see if I like the sauce which was thoughtful before putting them on all the wings. Wings were fried hard and just right! The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is because I waited way over an hour and it wasn’t really busy at all. I would return again definitely“
“It's overall a pretty fun place. Food is almost always really good although I recently got an order of the chicken fries and I didn't like them at all...it's the first thing I've had from there that I didn't like. The wait at the bar can be really long, even if it's not busy, and 2 out of the 3 times I've been there recently, there was no water available. There's a cooler for "free" water but it has to be refilled. One time it was never refilled the whole time we were there even though staff was aware that it was empty. Otherwise I have no complaints...food is usually out quickly, our orders have never been wrong and staff is great (as long as you're not waiting at the bar).“
“fantastic place. can be crowded and loud and dark, if thats not your jam than this isn't the place for you. this is a fantastically artistic space with an amazing atmosphere. staff is extremely friendly and the live music is always very talented.“
“I ordered catering from them, and I received so many compliments for the food. It made my event a great one.Vegetarian options: They were more accommodating to make sure some items didn't even touch anything with meat being served.Dietary restrictions: They made a wonderful cauliflower pizza for my gluten free guests.“
“The food at radio social is one of my favorites in Rochester! The hummus is the best I've ever had and they always have very unique dishes, amazing drinks, and they are good with allergies/food preferences. The bowling and games are also super fun!“
“I've been going to Vertex for twenty years. Whether it has been a week or four years, Patty and Erik still remember your face and it still feels like home. Great drinks, interesting people, unique atmosphere, Vertex has a sense of inclusivity you won't find many places.“
“My wife and I were here for the weekend and had drinks and hors d’oeuvres at the Studio Lounge. Espresso martinis, cocktails, and all of the small plates were absolutely amazing! Hale, the bartender was awesome and explained all the drinks to us and provided great service! Would highly recommend studio lounge for anyone looking for a great restaurant and bar in Rochester, New York!“
“Beer is cold. Whisky isn't watered down. Fun and inviting staff! Point based poker games on Thursday pm. Live band at happy hour on Friday. This isn't the kinda place you tell everyone about, it is the kind of place you take them to“
“One of my favorite local bars to go to. Unique and eclectic vibe in an old train depot building/ Food and drinks are pretty decent and the staff / service is always good. Margaret, the owner, takes the time to interact with her customers and truly makes you feel welcome.“
“Great spot for cocktails, shareables and comfortable seating. Great vibe and good music that was loud enough to enjoy, but allow for conversation.Don't be in a hurry though. A packed upstairs on Friday night had only one bartender. Drinks were slow to be made, but made “
“My vodka sauce was very spicy but they did do another dish for me without the spice I did appreciate that. It was too noisy but it is a pretty restaurant. the waitress was nice and pleasant but should not lean over customers as a rule when passing things , she seemed to do this a lot especially at one end of the table where someone was sitting and he did not like it. I wanted to give some real feedback but we will be back to try another dish and the pizza“
“The bar tender Austin, is HIM!Not only does he provide amazing service, I watched him run out of the bar, leaping the fence bushes and a 10 yard gap to save children from a burning bus. It was insane. (This is a joke)For real Bar Bantam has incredible drinks, amazing staff that genuinely care you have a good experience. And the food is definitely the best in town for an even better price. They also have the best wings“
“Went for Bloody Mary drink which was excellent. They have the specialty ones only Sunday yet very enjoyed their in-house made. Server VERY friendly, pleasant. Was very nice, comfortable there. Didn't have any food but will go again for sure.“
“We did a girls night out for our first time visiting Crisp and it did not disappoint. We all decided to get the special which was a steak with garlic mashed potatoes and zucchini and squash. It was delicious! We also got the churros to share along with the big piece of chocolate cake. Everything was great and we definitely come back here again.“
“My first review on Google has reached tens of thousands as this infamous frank has become a late night beacon. I returned to validate the exquisite and treasured Joey's Hot Dog, and it continues to deliver. So unsuspecting, yet mighty and fulfilling. Bravo.“
“On Tuesday night live band ( blues ) and I hang out with my "West Coast" dance crew. We dance all nigth. Their wings and fish is excellent. The kitchen is open during the weekdays and weekend for takeout (chicken wing, fries and fish). They also have live music on Sunday. You also can reserve a space for a party. (But keep in mind there might be other parties there too) not a large place but a good crowd of folks.“
“Had an excellent dinner! Two of us had the strip steak special which was huge and cooked perfectly. Sides were good size portions and everything tasted delicious. One had smothered chicken which they said was delicious. We started with the fried calamari which had excellent flavor. Make reservations as it is a very small restaurant and you likely will not be seated without one. We would absolutely go again.“
“Felt very comfortable there. Bartender was very knowledgeable on various drinks from martigras. It was fat Tuesday, btw. And food smelt amazing. I didn't get anything, but I plan on going back once the weather is better. I'll be sure to update my review once I do.“
“Stopped in after a particularly rough day and Kendra took such good care of me, she completely turned it around. Food was delicious but the conversation took this experience all the way home. She's the definition of above and beyond. Thanks, sis!!“
