“Ate here while visiting family in the area. Service was excellent and the food was great. I ordered the Cajun catfish with Harlem potato salad and coleslaw as my choice of sides. A server brought us a plate of BBQ samples to try. Everything was good. On-street parking available plus a nearby parking ramp (for a fee). The place was noisy but had a great vibe.“

“I went in looking for some chocolates to give as a gift. The young lady working asked if she could help me. I said no, I was looking for chocolates. She suggested I get a Dubai chocolate instead. I said sure. It looked so good I wanted to try something for me. I asked what she suggested and she said to try the Biscoff Bliss mini pancakes. Well, I hadn't had dinner yet, so why not pancakes for dinner!?!? So, add some fresh raspberries, strawberries, blueberries along with some Biscoff sauce, white chocolate drizzle and some lotus crumble. Not the dinner I had planned but oh so much better!! I won't come off my sugar rush for another 3 hours but soooo worth it. A hidden little shop that hasn't been open for 2 years yet. Friendly staff with big smiles and bigger personalities. I'll be going back soon (after dinner some night) to try the crepes.“

“Not only were the employees very kind, the food itself was wonderful for my first visit. We also got one of the chocolate chip vegan cookies and it is EASILY the best cookie I’ve ever had. I didn’t expect to like it so much (I’m not even vegan! It just looks yummy 🤭). Lovely little place with adorable animal photos throughout also. Employee was kind when I asked for an explanation for them. Loved finding out it’s a community board of loved pets alive and those also lost. They stated the community could bring in a photo of their pet to place on the wall. Great to see that small moment of recognizing the community and being involved to create that memorial & funny moments for the animals! Thanks for a great experience. For sure will be back.“

“10/10! I was blown away. Absolutely hands down one of Rochester’s best restaurants. Friendly and quick staff and the food… 🤤 oh the food. The food was DELICIOUS! Cooked to perfection, and as 2 chefs on a date who are highly critical of others cooking, we were BOTH impressed. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, and presentation was impeccable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I took some pics & vids and have a smaller social media of 22K that i plan on directing to go to this extremely good restaurant if they are in the Rochester area. The cocktails are presented with class and flare as well. If you’re looking for that perfect place for a romantic date night dinner, business meeting or just a foodie… this is a MUST-GO! “We hosted a party and it was very easy to coordinate. The servers at the event were fabulous, and the event space was great. They helped to create signature cocktails for us, and provided extra tables, games, and sound system items free of charge. We brought in all of our own food and decorations and had plenty of time for set up and breakdown. I would highly recommend this event space for your next event - personal or corporate.“

“Very welcoming, cute and cozy! The person who served me was very nice and friendly. When it comes to coffee, I can be indecisive, so I went with their suggestion of the iced strawberry mocha. Let me tell you, it was SO good! The drink was very flavourfull and chocolately all throughout. Best part is it's vegan, too, so no animals are harmed in the making of their drinks :)

“The food is outstanding. It's served tapas style and a really great price at $5 per plate. My family eats mostly vegetarian and we were able to have a huge variety and share a ton of dishes. The restaurant is in a in older building and the menus are photocopies of a hand written menu, so it is definitely a hole-in-the-wall kind of place.“

“I have been to La Bola a few times for lunch and love their sandwiches on foccacia. Recently I went to a holiday party there and it was out of this world! What a cool place to have an event! They put out several different spreads to graze on, one was an eggplant and fig foccacia- fantastic. I also really enjoyed the craft cocktail options they had for the event which were winter themed. I will most definitely be back for lunch (or dinner) and I hope to get to go for an event there again.“

“My husband and I went for the first time and we loved the atmosphere. The food and the beers were amazing, and the rest of the staff was very attentive and friendly.
There was only one small detail: we ordered a cauliflower dish and, while the waitress was bringing it upstairs to our table, I noticed she picked up a piece of cauliflower from the plate with her hand and ate it. I didn’t say anything because it wasn’t a big deal for us, but it is something that should be handled more carefully.
That being said, I am still giving this place 5 stars. One bad action by a single waitress should not be a reason to disqualify the great atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and the excellent service provided by the rest of the employees. We would definitely come back.“

“Had the great fortune of trying this Hazy IPA before meeting the owner Kelsey Grammer and watching him pull beer for a few hours. This beer is outstanding! it doesn't have that hoppy bite and has a refreshing citrus finish. Put simply? it's delicious. Looking forward to more amazing beers coming!!“

“We recently had a surprise 40th birthday celebration for my daughter. There were 14 guests. We had brunch on a Sunday. Everything was wonderful. The General Manager, Webster was great to work with. He was very professional as well as personable. The staff was amazing. Very polite & we had exceptional service. The food was delicious. Everyone was very pleased with what they had. “Ran in here for lunch when I was out running errands. The menu has a fantastic, wide selection of dishes. I love a noodle soup and I got a spicy soup with brisket and tendon. The broth was delicious and the noodles and meat were generous. I left with my tummy full and a smile on my face.
The service was fast and friendly. They checked in on the table the right amount.
I loved how clean the restaurant was too. I will definitely be back to try more things.“

“Food, atmosphere, server very good! Bruce picture of mimosas is where it's at. My only reason it's not 5 stars is that we had a weird miscommunication with he server. 2 people at the table asked for a side of churros and the other had chicken and churro entree. The server came over and said that they can't do the churros and so the person with the chicken and churros ordered side of fries instead and they 2 others with the sides of churros asked for sides of bacon instead. Fast forward, all of us got our entress instead of 1 person. They waited 15 minutes longer than everyone else. Then all of a sudden 3 sides of churros came out. The server said ok the kitchen is trying these. So now at this point everyone had their replacement sides and now 3 sides of churros. We assumed they "were testing them" since that's what the server said and they would be on the house since now that's too much food. But when we got the bill we were charged for the curros and the other sides. It was just confusing overall with the communication on that and then also we got charged for sides and the cjurros when we wanted 1 or the other not both. The manager, which I think is the owner was very nice and they comped the churros. It sounded like the server told them that we didn't like the churros, but it was more of the principle of being charged. Would definitely go back, I would never hold a miscommunication against a restaurant, but just wanted to voice a few things. Overall cool new spot“

“My server Christine was absolutely amazing and attentive throughout my experience, I was impressed with her professionalism and good energy, so much so that it enraged me when I overheard the bartender, Mischa yelled across the bar at Christine to “pay attention to the door” where she looked away for a millisecond. As someone who has worked in restaurants for over 10 years I felt the tension in the employees interactions the moment I walked in and didn’t understand why until I heard Mischa being disrespectful to Christine.
