Way too much bun for the chicken, which was tasty but not special in its flavor. Nice and crunchy but bland. No kick at all. Way too many pickles - no problem, just picked a few off and ate a few separately. I usually really like their rosemary garlic fries. Today they were hard, cool and very salty. Surprising because they'd just opened.

Overall the customer service vibe was off today. Our server was excellent, however the way we were received could improve. I had planned to meet someone at 11:30 am. That's when they open, and trust me, not a minute earlier. As a matter of fact, 2 minutes late, with staff making sure to not make eye contact as they prepared. There was no seating outside the main entrance, situated within a mall. It was about to start raining, so it didn't seem wise to sit outside. Tough on those who cannot stand for long periods of time. When the staff finally unlocked the door, they just turned the bolt and walked away. I would've expected them to physically open the door and welcome the small crowd that had gathered.

“We recently had a surprise 40th birthday celebration for my daughter. There were 14 guests. We had brunch on a Sunday. Everything was wonderful. The General Manager, Webster was great to work with. He was very professional as well as personable. The staff was amazing. Very polite & we had exceptional service. The food was delicious. Everyone was very pleased with what they had. We would highly recommend the Brown Hound.“

“The food is outstanding. It's served tapas style and a really great price at $5 per plate. My family eats mostly vegetarian and we were able to have a huge variety and share a ton of dishes. The restaurant is in a in older building and the menus are photocopies of a hand written menu, so it is definitely a hole-in-the-wall kind of place.“

“My wife and I had lunch here today and the food is always amazing. We always get the Gyros which are the best in the city. We did not know they had a variety of pizzas so of course we had to try. We got the Mykonos pizza with gyro, hot peppers, and goat cheese.. it was gone in 10 seconds. Can’t wait to come here all the time in the summer! Amazing and friendly staff as well.“

Got the massaman curry after checking for fish paste and eggs and our server said "it's vegetables only" - works for me! Curry was great, though I was so distracted that I forgot to up the spice level. Still delicious and warming without. $16 for a filling amount of curry plus green tea put me at ~$20.50 after tax; great prices.“

“My server Christine was absolutely amazing and attentive throughout my experience, I was impressed with her professionalism and good energy, so much so that it enraged me when I overheard the bartender, Mischa yelled across the bar at Christine to “pay attention to the door” where she looked away for a millisecond. As someone who has worked in restaurants for over 10 years I felt the tension in the employees interactions the moment I walked in and didn’t understand why until I heard Mischa being disrespectful to Christine. I took the time to ask him to come over and I expressed my concerns and he claimed he would apologize however I highly doubt that he will“

“The atmosphere was was great. Our waitress Bella( at the Rochester one) was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly sling with our hostess and other table help. Was a great experience. The only thing I was disappointed in ( which wasn’t any of these peoples doing) was my porterhouse steak. For the money, it should have been a nice cut. It was an end cut, one that even some stores don’t use…let alone a very upscale restaurant. It was also supposed to be med rare n was med. I didn’t send it back because st least it was pink, but it was well past med rare. My crab cake was very good. The lobster and crab mac and cheese was also very good. I’d definitely recommend and go back. Just not sure if I’d get the porterhouse again. Probably go with just the filet.“

“I went here last night around 8pm just before the crowd rush. Ordered a simple vodka and Sprite with mozzerella cheese sticks, which were actually bigger than I thought and freshly hot, super delicious. Bar tenders was very nice and attentive, I appreciate their good customer service 👍🏾

Only thing about the atmosphere was the amount of pre-gamed drunk women being extra loud, to the point that nobody could have a conversation nor hear the music. Like, absolutely doing the most extra behavior. I had ear buds in and I still could here them yelling. Its not the bar's fault or anything, I just wish the bartenders had kicked them out cuz even they were getting frustrated but that's just me and I understand a paying customer is a paying customer lol

Otherwise, its a good local bar and I plan on coming back again. Gotta support local businesses and this place is worth going again.“

“Everything was perfect BUT…….the hollandaise sauce could have used some lemon in the mix. May I suggest a lemon wedge to accompany the Eggs Benedict for optional lemon wedge distribution? Also, maybe substitute the cheddar biscuit as an under to the Eggs Benedict with Challah bread instead? I feel it would be less intrusive because the Challah French toast was off-the-chain-bells.
