“I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve had garbage plates from Dogtown & Nick’s (the OG). I got a half-plate, which was still a huge portion weighing probably four pounds, with mac’n’homefries and cheeseburger topped with the cinnamon (mild but tasty) meat sauce and “a little bit” of onions, mustard, and ketchup. This was BY FAR the most delicious garbage plate I’ve ever had. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here. And it’s less than a 10-minute, quick’n’easy drive from Rochester General Hospital (so skip the Wolfgang Puck despite the convenience). I will add that the young woman who took my order was kind and friendly. The meal “to-go” was ready in less than 4 minutes. And the food was delicious, not at all greasy—literally PERFECT”

“This quality and quaint restaurant is a true gem of delicious cuisine. My husband and I agree they have the very best hamburgers in Rochester, NY. The 100% angus beef is an extremely substantial and high quality patty. My choice of melted Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, tomato, lettuce on a fresh roll ….in the world of hamburgers it doesn’t get any better. The sides are limited because they are made fresh and always delicious. The weekly special meatloaf …another highlight, high quality and savory, melt in your mouth deliciousness. If we have any room we end the meal with an expertly made crème brûlée. This restaurant specializes in French cuisine and I have yet to find any restaurant that can top this rich and creamy desert. In addition to the quality of food the atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve entered a European cafe. Linen napkins, a very private outdoor patio with fresh herbs and music makes this restaurant a standout from the run of the mill fast, loud and fried food dining experience. The owner and staff are friendly and strict with quality, which is highly apparent in everything they do.”

We ordered a Bento Box A, edamame, two rolls and an order of dumplings. The Bento Box A was simply a massive amount of food. It could easily be split between two people. The salad and soup are standard fare and reasonably forgettable, but definitely not poor quality. The five pieces of sushi and the California roll were fresh, well made and tasted great. The dumplings were delicious. We set aside the teriyaki chicken as a snack to have another day because there was simply too much food to have at one sitting, and the vegetable and shrimp tempura were very very good. We got our food to go but went in to get it. The interior feels a little rundown, but appeared to be clean and was comfortable. I would definitely order food from them again.”

“Beyond impressed! This pizza was the only pizza my family would order when I was a kid. We moved to Florida and over the years people have started away from them and we were always disappointed. We tried it twice and we're so impressed I had to review! Wings are cooked to perfection and the pizza is on point! ESPECIALLY the GLUTEN FREE!!! It actually looks, feels and chews like a pizza, not just a glorified tortilla. We will always order from Marks when we come to visit!

“Late-night option when many other things were already closed...but it turned out it wasn't like we missed out on something better because of the late hour...this was perfect. The wife and I got to relax with my sister and brother-in-law at a table for as long as we wanted. Complimentary popcorn is always a bonus. I was debating over 2 new-to-me beers and the server offered giving me 2 glasses with half of each - how nice! I got the Irish beef stew and it was enormous, delicious, and I was very impressed with how much meat they put in it. Wife got the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap which she raved about as well.”

They were patient when i ordered, i had no idea what to get. They did get my name wrong but it was funny, i didnt bring it up because ive worked in food before and understand just how loud it can be behind the counter, especially when you have a earpiece connecting to drive through. This bunch were all lively and happy and just overall good vibes. This group should be put together more, ive gone to starbucks multiple times and this group hands down is my favorite. Food was fast, service was wonderful. I had forgotten the name of the spinach feta wrap (probably still the wrong name lol) and the cashier knew immediately what i was talking about. You could tell the other customers really appreciated the lively atmosphere aswell. Drinks were some of the best that ive had from there (i could taste each flavor)”
