“My husband and I were here last night and had a wonderful experience. The food was to die for. Best Chinese I have had. Huge portions. Wonderfully seasoned and well cooked. Have leftovers for days. The venue is unique and cool. Lastly, our waitress Abby, was a doll. She had her hands full with other tables but was attentive, sweet and that big smile never left her face. Overall a wonderful experience. 10/10 would recommend.“
“Ordered food for pick up. It was so good, the best Chinese food we have had in a long time. We ordered Sesame Chicken, Happy Family and Bean Curds. There was so much of the meat in the main meals. Everything tasted fresh and great sauces. The crab rangoons were piping hot with lots of filling and are of a generous size. We will definitely order from China Chef, again.Thank you,“
“The food here was so good! I definitely recommend doing takeout since it's a one man shop and the food can take a little bit of time. However, the wait is well worth it! The flavors are simple and delicious and these are hands down some of the best noodles I have ever had. They are thick, with the perfect bite. Definitely a hidden gem.“
“This spot is the sole spot in town offering dine-in Dim Sum. I'm crossing my fingers for Rochester to revive the push-cart Dim Sum. Here, the Dim Sum is massive, succulent, and oh-so-tasty. Prices are fair, service is top-notch, English communication is smooth sailing, and they go beyond Dim Sum with an extensive menu. From tripe to pork stomach to chicken feet, they've got all the Chinese delicacies covered. Absolutely smitten with this place!“
“I swung in to get lunch after smelling a coworker's food. Their lunch special was amazing. Perfect portion size to not waste and at a great price. I got the Sesame chicken over pork fried rice and loved it. The atmosphere is that of a mostly takeaway spot known for quick service. I ordered and was out in just less than 15 minutes. In the future, I'll order ahead of time and pick it up. Fast service and great food!“
“This is a carry-out, so don't expect a sit-down-and-dine experience. The food is really, really, really good! Our household is vegetarian, and both the previous and current owners have adapted their dishes to our needs. The veg is just fresh as hell and everything is cooked to perfection (tender, a little crisp, **NEVER** overcooked). The flavors range from "suitable for an American palate" to "Schezuan so spicy I sweat," I just need to specify when I order. The prior and current owners are really thoughtful and kind: I think this may well be the best Chinese carry-out in Rochester.I'm really glad I'm a regular - they've done incredibly well by me.“
“First tried their food about two years ago, and since then we have returned many times.. I'm partial to the General Tso chicken.. not heavily battered, always crispy and their sauce is one of the best I've found in the Rochester area. The portions are pretty large, prices are very fair, and the staff is always friendly, polite, and accommodating to any requests.. every time I ask for extra sauce in my order, they ALWAYS do it correctly, which I can not say for other Chinese restaurants around here.. another thing that I have been impressed with, is when you call an order in to be picked up at a particular time, they have it ready and being bagged up fresh and piping hot almost right to the minute! highly recommend them for a great meal without complaints“
“First time ordering at this place and was delighted with the quality. We ordered chicken broccoli and sesame chicken. We also got wonton soup. We enjoyed all the food and were very happy with the crispiness of the chicken. The food was ready quickly and the prices were very reasonable.“
“I ordered a takeout meal for my family of five and was not disappointed. We have never dined in this place before but we will be back. The service for takeout was absolutely gold, and we are so thankful for the kind treatment and exceptional food. The beef fried noodles are AMAZING. Loved the dumplings. Lots of flavor. Everything was clearly freshly made and I think more authentic than you'll find at other places. Be prepared for slightly greasy dishes because everything is coming fresh off the stove. Again it's not like american mall takeout- it's better.“
“The food is always great here , and it was super busy on Christmas Day! The wait time was longer than expected however the young woman at the counter was incredibly kind and handled the busyness with grace and kindness and the food was hot, fresh, generously portioned and worth the wait!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetable dishes and flavorful tofu dishes , and veggie dumplings!“
“Had an absolutely lovely time here. The staff was very friendly. We wanted a whole fish and the waiter suggested to do it two ways- crispy fried salt and pepper style and steamed with ginger scallion. The fried style was quite oily and heavy but still delicious, and the steam style was very light. Just be careful because the fried fillet pieces have bones in them. Highly recommend the watercress stir fry!! The prices seem a bit high but with declining quality at Chen Garden, we’ll probably return.“
“Food is always DELICIOUS & FRESH! THey always get my order right and even throw in extras. Quick and efficient with everything like when I call my order in and when I pick it up!!! Im definitely a regular! If your in the mood for Chinese food this is the place to go!! ?“
“First time I've ordered from this place and I'm really happy with it! Got it delivered and it arrived seven minutes before the estimated time. My food was hot and fresh and cooked perfectly. The crab rangoons were just the way I like them - the crunch to soft ratio was right on and they had good amount of filling. The Happy Family was delicious too. The veggies were super fresh. I'll definitely be ordering from New Kingdom again!“
“My first trip to the new location and I was very happy with the atmosphere! The food was excellent as usual. Very fast service the food was fresh and sooo tasty! Def try the hot sauce on the table- you won’t regret it. Prices are very reasonable. I’ll def be back for more authentic cuisine. I just wish I lived closer.Dietary restrictions: They are accommodating to vegan diets.“
“I got qt size (large) fried rice with chicken. It was really good. I would give them 5 stars but their location and lack of parking is very inconvenient. Only 1 car can park at their parking spot. And you have to really maneuver yourself out to get out.“
“Went for the first time the other day and by far, this is the best Chinese restaurant around. Every single dish we had - from the shrimp and broccoli to the crispy honey beef to the shrimp toast (!!) to the shrimp fried rice - was cooked and flavored to perfection. The fried rice had that delicious wok fried flavor I have found in only one or two other places (inconsistently at best), and the crispy honey beef was perfectly crispy and sweet without drying out the beef, and the shrimp and broccoli had an amazing flavorfulSauce and delicious succulent shrimp! As did the shrimp toast!! Vicki has such a kind welcoming demeanor and the restaurant just beautifully appointed and quiet and clean. They only do take out now but we could stay and eat there in a lovely booth and it was perfect. Needless to say I cannot say enough about this fabulous restaurant and will return often. So excited to have found it!“
“Amazingly good. I already had high expectations when I walked in but I was still blown away. I got the chicken fried rice. Everything was excellent. The staff were supper friendly. I can certainly recommend this to anyone. Small businesses like this make Fairport Fairport“
“This is a true iconic Asian Cuisine Restaurant I used to come here when I was in college, luckily, I happen to be in Rochester driving by and it is STILL here. Mings has been around for 30 years and the food is still Great and very delicious. I got my all time favorite iconic salt and pepper wings and salt and pepper squid to take with me back home to Catskill NY. Truly blessed that this place is open, and I hope everybody, rochesterians and visitors alike stops by this great little restaurant. Order yourself some authentic Asian food that has been here for generations. I hope MINGs noodles will be here for future Generations as well.Vegetarian options: Many choices from soups and noodles to fried rices steamed and stir fried vegetables etc etc.Parking: Can be difficult during busy hours to find parking. It's one hour parking on the street and side streets.“
“Beautiful restaurant with great table service. The only place that we feel safe ordering gluten free dishes. Equally, their takeout food is scrumptious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is clearly indicated on the menu. A separate dish of gluten free soy sauce was served to my husband who has Celiac Disease. We ordered some dishes that were not GF. Our waiter was careful to remind us which dishes were safe.“
“A reasonably priced, cash only Chinese food that's actually pretty good! If you are ordering a spicy version, take note that it's probably one of the spiciest General Tso's we've ever had. Egg rolls were delicious - nice and crispy! As far as atmosphere, it seemed like the exhaust system didn't work - very oily smell (my clothes and hair smelled pretty bad). The couple that was running it were so sweet!“
“Dragon House has great quality chinese food, friendly service, and the inside has that nice, relaxing atmosphere, with nicely appointed decorations. They have the authentic tropical cocktails such as the tasty Mai Tai. Glad they are still in business for decades. This is a favorite.“
“Haven’t had New Ming in a couple of years, mainly because I hate trying to find parking on or around Monroe. Today we had a family emergency and needed something quick, and New Ming was on GrubHub.Happy to report the food is still just as good as the last time we had it: some nice low-level heat to the Sesame Chicken (I know; we’re basic); egg rolls are large, flavorful, and have a nice crunch; and the steamed pork dumplings are tasty and not under-stuffed. Portions are a little smaller than we’re used to, but plenty large enough for dinner, just not leftovers the next day, and I’ll take it for food that isn’t totally bland.Best of all, learned they do their own delivery within 3 miles, saving you from the dreaded delivery dump of cold food in containers with condensation. Will definitely put them back in our regular rotation as soon as life is back to normal!“
“It's only takeout. Don't call if you're lost they did not understand but I found them! Great food! In the corner plaza next to State Farm. Fast service and my food was amazing. I spent $30.00 on meals for four. Yummy. My new favorite stop. Busy parking lot so maybe park next door on Culver and walk over if you have a car that needs tender love. That sleepy corning is now quite busy so be prepared. Try to skip rush hour it was a challenge.“
“Ive ordered from here three times and the food is great and my order is accurate. I took a star off though because every time I order the full size kung pao chicken, I only get like 4-5 medium size pieces of chicken and tons of vegetables. Its tasty, I just think I would get more chicken. I also order my lo mein with less oil and I can tell they do cook it with less oil so I appreciate the effort and accuracy. Great place, w continue to order from here.“
