“First time ordering here since we moved to the East side and I have to say it’s the best pizza I’ve had yet! Great for people who like a thinner crust with a healthy amount of sauce. The brick oven crust is SO good. We loved the buffalo chicken pizza, their house wing sauce they use is unique, and it was a nice shake up to traditional buffalo sauce. Also their house red on our pepperoni pizza was fantastic! 😍”

“Had Valentines Day dinner at Horizons. The evening was excellent in all aspects from start to finish.

The food was outstanding, clearly the chef knows how to create dishes with flavors that complement each other, delicious!

All of the staff, from the bar tenders, the coat check lady, our server Debbie, to management were personable, efficient and attentive.

Since it was Valentines Day the restaurant was extremely busy but the acoustics were very good in that I could have an intimate conversation with my partner (very important if you don't want to shout to be heard above the noise). I should note that tables were not on top of each other which enhanced the overall experience. There was a Jazz trio playing that also added to a charming atmosphere.

The only opportunity is that we miss a place to get up and dance, pre-Covid it was possible to do that in the bar area.”

“I did an event for Perinton Rec and saw a kid eating a sub that looked delicious. I asked the dad where you get that from he said Clawsons up the road. So I had to have one. One of the best subs I ever had. Bread was soft and loaded with Roast Beef a little messy like I like my subs. I ate the whole sub in the parking lot.”

“Everything was clean and new. The customer service was the most friendly and informal I’ve ever received from an ice cream shop. I tried the birth cake and banana fudge ice cream which was perfectly fresh and creamy with no sight of freezer burns on any of the other many flavors they had. The bubble waffle was the best thing I tried on the menu.”

What ever her secret is, she’s killing it! She had a pop up tent sale this last weekend and I had to go and get a dozen to share with family and friends and keep some for myself. Not to mention she’s a hard working mom who finds time to balance all of this. Supporting Maggie’s business with your sweet tooth is the best kind of cookie decision you could possibly make!”

The breakfast burrito was filling and came with perfectly crisp tortilla chips and a side of salsa. A very cozy cafe to sit in and enjoy your time”

“We just had lunch a group of 18 at Salts Restaurant this afternoon and everything was perfect. The atmosphere and service were outstanding even as they also cared for another large party. Due to the snow and the snow plow blocking the ramp a few of us needed help navigating the back entrance stairs. Both Katie and Armando were great helps. They were both very strong and familiar with assisting people. I knew I was in capable hands. And everyone loved their food. The food was plentiful with lots of delicious options. I had the Reuben that was so good. Thanks to the entire staff for a job “well done”!!”

“In this industry, When will we start to teach our hostesses that they are the first impression for any guest that walks in the restaurant. In my opinion you don’t need to pay for a hostess on Saturday nights, the servers can handle that collectively. Especially a hostess who greets your guests with “how many?” And does absolutely nothing else all evening. Our server was fantastic, the food was good but pricey. Been here a few times and l like the vibe. Train your hostess to be warm and friendly, but you really don’t need to be paying that wage 😉”

“Saturday morning, -2°F (feels like -20) outside, and I’m picking up two dozen bagels for my daughter’s birthday. Not exactly the kind of weather that makes you want to leave the house… but Bruegger’s made it completely worth it.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. You could tell they genuinely cared, which honestly warmed things up more than the heaters did.

The bagels were fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. Ordering two dozen could have easily felt chaotic, but everything was organized and ready thanks to their super convenient online ordering system. It made the whole process smooth and stress-free — exactly what you need when you’re prepping for a kid’s birthday party.

I also really appreciate the little things they do that show they go the extra mile. They offer storage bags to help keep the bagels fresh, and I love that you can buy their cream cheese to take home. Those thoughtful touches make a big difference.

And here’s something small but meaningful — when you order coffee, they don’t just hand you an empty cup like some places do. They actually fill it for you. That level of service and attention to detail is rare these days.

“As a longtime satisfied customer of Mark’s in Fairport, I didn’t think I could be more pleased with their service, but I was wrong. Tonight I placed an order online for delivery. After an hour I called because it never takes that long for a delivery. It turns out I messed up and did the online order for pickup, rather than delivery. I drove to the store and was greeted by the manager who informed me she was making me a new pizza because she didn’t want me leaving with a cold pizza. When I told her it was my fault and that wasn’t necessary she insisted I was getting a fresh, hot pizza. I was blown away!! In an age of horrible customer service, this young lady decided to go above and beyond to satisfy a customer even though the mistake was clearly my fault! I have been a customer of Mark’s for quite some time and this just proved to me why! Their slogan is “we treat you like family” and, as it turns out, this is not just a slogan but reality! Kudos to this young lady for what she did for me. It will not be forgotten and I will continue to patronize Mark’s as I always have. Thank you so much for your kindness!”

“Lovely service. Staff were incredibly friendly. As for Target instore cafes go this is one of the better ones. It’s extremely popular amongst locals. While small they still offer many of the amenities that the full sized retail stores do. I got my friend a gift here today and she absolutely loved it. I will most certainly be coming back.”

I only give the place mid-level grade on the atmosphere because I don't care for the seating arrangements, and the place could be cleaner (especially the outdoor area).”

“I managed a pizza restaurant for years at night. The place was super clean, friendly staff, order done on time and the pizza was a 10. Most now are so salty or the mozzarella taste cheap. This was perfect.”

cold sub for $10 plus a 20oz drink.
Here’s the truth…it was the best sub we’ve ever had and hubby is an expert.
Since we know the owner, we assumed he gave us the ultimate sub. Nope, when I called to thank him for the extra attention I was told that all the subs are made the same for everyone. Super impressed, highly recommend.”

“Several of us old guys rotate a monthly dinner. Tonight six of us dined at Porterhouse. Service was on point. Shawna was great. We order family style and pass plates around. Apps we had were Artichoke French, arancini and pot stickers. All fantastic. Entrees were salmon, strip steak and braised spareribs. Sides of mashed potatoes, root veggies and a great rice. Three bottles of red. Five after dinner drinks. $100 per person including tip. All six plan on returning. Highly recommended.”
