“Had Valentines Day dinner at Horizons. The evening was excellent in all aspects from start to finish.

The food was outstanding, clearly the chef knows how to create dishes with flavors that complement each other, delicious!

All of the staff, from the bar tenders, the coat check lady, our server Debbie, to management were personable, efficient and attentive.

Since it was Valentines Day the restaurant was extremely busy but the acoustics were very good in that I could have an intimate conversation with my partner (very important if you don't want to shout to be heard above the noise). I should note that tables were not on top of each other which enhanced the overall experience. There was a Jazz trio playing that also added to a charming atmosphere.

The only opportunity is that we miss a place to get up and dance, pre-Covid it was possible to do that in the bar area.“

“The food was delicious, I just wish there was more of a variety. I got the Blackened Beef Tenderloin tips which tasted good but should have had more meat, most of the plate was mashed potatoes. There should be more beef options for dinner, ie: ribeye, prime rib, NY strip steak, short ribs, etc. The service was okay, a little slow. I ordered sparkling water and it came in a bottle with no glass, which was kind of odd. I had to request a glass and then the glass she gave me was tiny. It was crowded in there and a little loud, tables are too close together.“

“My girlfriends and I love going to Original Steve's Diner in Victor. The restaurant has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. You can tell the staff really loves their jobs and they give excellent attention and service to patrons. The owner John and his wife Elizabeth have truly mastered the art of upscale diner cuisine. Although many people love the ultra delicious pancakes, I was ecstatic when they added crepes. The cheesecake crepes with berries paired with a side of bacon are the perfect pairing of sweet and savory. I will definitely be a regular customer.“

“I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve had garbage plates from Dogtown & Nick’s (the OG). I got a half-plate, which was still a huge portion weighing probably four pounds, with mac’n’homefries and cheeseburger topped with the cinnamon (mild but tasty) meat sauce and “a little bit” of onions, mustard, and ketchup. This was BY FAR the most delicious garbage plate I’ve ever had. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here. And it’s less than a 10-minute, quick’n’easy drive from Rochester General Hospital (so skip the Wolfgang Puck despite the convenience). I will add that the young woman who took my order was kind and friendly. The meal “to-go” was ready in less than 4 minutes. And the food was delicious, not at all greasy—literally PERFECT“

“Every time I go to Clownboy, I wish it was closer to where I work or live, but that's more of a me problem. My most recent visit sealed the deal on why I need to just make the trip periodically.

This is a fully vegan coffee shop. I am not vegan but I am lactose intolerant so it's a treat to order from a menu with reckless abandon and not having to worry whether my coffee would be better with traditional milk. I think Clownboy is on par with many of the local coffee shops in the area quality-wise. I believe they make many (if not all) of their syrups in house, which is greatly enjoyed and appreciated. My personal favorite is the Dale Cooper, a cold brew with fig and walnut bitters. It's not sweet and has a subtle almost smoky finish. It's sophisticated and reminds me of a cocktail in a way. I have dabbled with a few other drinks on the menu and enjoyed them as well, but the Dale Cooper is my jam.

The vibe in the cafe is great. It's fun, welcoming and colorful. Local artists have work displayed for sale. I am more of a grab and go coffee drinker by default, but I could totally see myself chilling here for a while if the mood struck.

There are a few very small things I wish were different (limited seating, street parking), but on a nice day, I don't mind a little walk and a coffee to go.“

It looks like it's in a converted bank, but it works. \nMy wife and I love Hot & Sour Soup so we had to order the Tom Yum Chicken (Hot & sour flavor with lemon grass & galanga) and Tom Kha Chicken (Coconut, lemon grass & galanga). Both were excellent, the Tom Kha is a little sweet from the coconut and I loved it.\nMy wife ordered the Mango Chicken which she thought was very good. I saw the Drunken Noodles with choice of Chicken, Beef, or Shrimp. I had enjoyed Drinken Chicken years ago and haven't found it again so that was my choice. GOOD CHOICE!\nI enjoyed it very much. It had very wide rice noodles, and lots of chicken and vegetables. Much as the name implies, there is no alcohol in it. It was a very large portion, so I enjoyed what I didn't eat then, for lunch the next day.\nGood food, good service, nice atmosphere. You'll get a good meal here.“

“We stopped in for lunch today at Fruit &Salad Co. and had a lovely lunch. The food was delicious as was the service! The manager was friendly and available to the customers. They have a wide variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts. The dinner menu look wonderful too. We specifically picked this restaurant for their vegetarian options. If you are looking for a quiet but quaint place to get a bite to eat in the Fairport area don’t hesitate to stop in here. Five stars all the way!“

“Wish there was an option for heat at home on the online ordering form. Even when I order ahead, I end up having to wait for them to put it together as there's always only one person working.

It's also SUPER cramped in there. Like I'm not sure I'd be able to fit my mobility aid, so I send in my partner, it's so tight.

Even when doing a BYO and paying extra, the toppings can seem stingy at times.

But the rolls are amazing and I love trying new icing flavors. Definitely give them a try, even if you aren't vegan!“

“We ordered breakfast through Grubhub and were blown away by the quality and flavor of everything we tried. We got the Vegan Chesswell Breakfast Panini and substituted provolone for the vegan cheese. The sundried tomato spread added a bright note without overpowering the other ingredients, and the whole sandwich was delicious. My friend, who split it with me, said it was the best sandwich he’d ever had—and one was definitely enough for two people.

We also ordered the Vegan Superior Gone Green, which my wife loved, and the Aztec Mocha Latte, which was absolutely perfect. They balance their flavors so well. We’ll happily order from them again.“
