I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve had garbage plates from Dogtown & Nick’s (the OG). I got a half-plate, which was still a huge portion weighing probably four pounds, with mac’n’homefries and cheeseburger topped with the cinnamon (mild but tasty) meat sauce and “a little bit” of onions, mustard, and ketchup. I've had a couple horrible experiences with garbage plates and decided to give up after Nick Tahou's failed me. Unlike myself, my husband kept at it and today he found this place. The people were very nice, the restaurant looked clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. Outside dining, plenty of parking and plenty of staff. They had lines but very short wait time. Very organized and seemingly great teamwork.
