I just was in there a few minutes ago and got a Charlie plate. The young girl that took my order with a black hoodie on was not friendly at all.. Not sure how you can work in this type of environment and not be friendly. The food was great. However, she had some personal issues going on obviously Three other customers came in and said the same thing that her personality sucked and that she is not customer friendly at all

The staff are always friendly and ready to take your order. The food is made quickly and in front of you. I always enjoy the food and the crinkle fries are great. They also have buckets of pickles ?Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for seating and I saw plenty of families while I was there.

My partner and I really liked the food from Charlie’s. They are very generous with the toppings, which made it just a little too messy to eat for my liking. But the flavor was fantastic. I’ll probably just ask for a knife and fork next time, because the taste was worth going back for!

Very quick service! The food from here is always delicious! I usually get the fish dinner with fries. Today I very much enjoyed the 2 burger plate with onions and meat sauce. If you’re in the area. I recommend giving these guys a visit!

Charlies has some of the best garbage plates in the city! We live out of state now but make it a point to stop here every time we come back to Rochester. Also a bonus - they have vegetarian plates made with beyond burgers. They even have a veggie meat hot sauce! Super super exciting, as I can only think of 2 other restaurants in town with vegetarian plates (Red Fern & Dog Town).
