“Great local pizza place. Really love their buffalo chicken calzone! Not only is it just spicy enough, but they make some of the biggest calzones around, packed full with juicy buffalo chicken. Their pizzas are also really good. The only thing that sucks is having to drive all the way to Mendon for this terrific food. Very much wish the Victor location was still open!”

“After moving a street over about a year ago, we found ourselves going by this place frequently and saying, "what is that place??" It doesn't look like much. There's a 7-Up branded sign with "Ye Mendon Tavern" on it. I finally convinced my husband that we need to go there. We went in and there is definitely and a cozy ambiance about it. The bartender was friendly enough, and the drinks were well priced. A generous pour as well. The kind of place where you should go if you are in the mood for having a relaxing drink. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you stop by.”

“What a local gem! Our bartender, Daniel, makes a mean 1 iron cocktail. I had a Beef on Weck and my guy had a Fish Fry….delicious and worth ordering again!!!! If you’re in the neighborhood, stop in, you won’t regret it!”

“I was looking forward to the lobster egg rolls since the reviews sounded good but they were disappointing. Crunchy on the outside but pretty flavorless on the inside. The dipping sauces helped save them. I had the Sheppard pie special which was good but my wife ordered the striped bass. Full of bones which they should have warned her about and her asparagus was very overcooked.”

“So, so good! Parking lot behind restaurant, super cute casual spot for tasty, authentic Mexican food! Everything we ordered was delicious. We had the birria tacos with sides of rice and refried beans, birria quesadilla, Mexican bowl, elote corn (a little too sweet for me), horchata drink, hibiscus Agua Fresca, and tamarind agua fresca. After we ate we shared a piece of flan--outstanding! Cannot wait to go back frequently. Owner Jesus and the other male staff (I didn't get his name) were beyond friendly.”

“Easily my favorite Vegan restaurant/Cafe in the Rochester area. The staff is super friendly and if they mess anything up they will fix it. The atmosphere is great a nice and cozy place to sit in and eat. The baked good are to die for as well as their specialty sandwiches. I recommend this to anyone in the area vegan or not. Food is easily the best I've eaten.”

Kind of flavorless.Service was good. Drinks right away. Did not wait long for the bill.One star off the the credit card penalty. And that's what it is - a penalty. They process the card right at the table so it's more efficient for them, but still charge you more.”

“They use decent ingredients compared to other take out style pizza places. Prices are competative. To get better pizza you need to go to a mid priced Italian restaurant. If u want to eat in there are a few tables, it's not just take out.”

Signature Rolls (raw) the King of the Ocean was our favorite and highly recommend!!! “In town for a short visit and went here for breakfast. The exterior is dated but don't let that dissuade you! This place is excellent ! The hash browns with onions, raisin bread AND raisin bread French toast were particularly excellent. The bread is all homemade and so rare to find now at a restaurant - it is so amazing. Service is fast and friendly! Wide variety of breakfast and lunch options and some specials. Definitely worthy of the 4.6 rating. Atmosphere is local and decor is casual and aged but who cares if it's delicious, friendly, neighborly and a good value?!”

“I went for 2 squares on first visit, one pepperoni and one white square with veggies. Both squares were very good. 2nd visit I brought my mom to try some pasta. We went for the Eggplant and Mushroom Ravioli. Both were very delicious. I thing I wish the pasta dishes come with is a dinner roll to mop up the remaining sauce. I'm that kind of person that leaves a clean plate.”

The workers were friendly and explained all the pastries to us AND just sampled us some of their favorites..Check it out for sure. I expected to spend way more than our total. “We came here for the first time today without keeping any high hopes. However, we were positively surprized the the quality of food. FINALLY, after a decade, I ate the REAL NAAN and REAL chicken karhai and REAL Beef Biryani. The quality of food reminded me of the food I used to have with friends at Sea View Karachi ! ! ! ! ! FINALLY, Rochester got A REAL PAKISTANI RESTAURANT, JUGNOOS! Asif and Sohail are great gentlemen and their kind gesture and hospitality adds further value to their service. I can't speak to the midday or afternoon offerings, but the early morning experience is everything I want in a cafe: Fantastic food that demands my full attention, fresh coffee that is flavorful by itself, and enough space to find a cozy corner. It's not a surprise that this place has become part of my weekly routine, and I hope it stays that way for a long while.”
