Incredibly fresh sushi and a classic katsu curry rice plate! Easily the most authentic Japanese restaurant you’ll find in the area. I love that they give you a cold washcloth to clean your hands before eating. Our meal came with miso soup and salad which was great too! No frills, just classic comforts in a cute little restaurant :) Looking forward to coming back!
I lived in Japan for three years and have been going to Shiki for over twenty. It has been our go to for authentic Japanese sushi, sashimi, and much more. It reminds me of so many mom and pop Izakayas (taverns) throughout Japan. Can’t recommend it enough. Have a beer, some edamame, Karaage chicken, and then feast on sushi. The broiled mackerel, Japanese curry, and ramen are all excellent. You really cannot go wrong so be sure to try a range of menu items. Itadakimasu!
