“I dreamed about this food for weeks after I had it for the first time.I first has Yxi's arepas at a music festival. It was SO good that I tried to find her at a pop-up venue again to no avail. I am so happy that she has opened a food truck.First, the food is absolutely delicious and you can taste the love that she puts into it. I've had her arepas with meat and plantains and beans. All glorious and soul-warming.Second, Yxi is warm and friendly and you can tell has a heart of gold.I hope that her business thrives and grows and I'm grateful that she chooses to make her delicious home cooking for us.“
“This is an absolutely godsent place. My kid has peanut and tree nut allergies (cashews, pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts). It is rare to find a bakery that can accommodate these allergies. Rashida Sawyer is our go-to bakery for custom-made birthday cakes for our family. They take proper care to ensure no nut ingredients and no cross-contamination. They have told us of selections where there might be almond flour and have suggested alternative designs. We've had no issues so far and my child absolutely devours the cake slices!Without this bakery, I don't know how my kid would have been able to enjoy a proper birthday party. So thank you! Also, at our last birthday party, one of my child's friends exclaimed that "this was the best chocolate cake she's ever had!". Child-approved!“
“I have tasted many pizzas in my life, but none of them can compare to the one I had at Pizza Aroma. It was a thin crust pizza with feta cheese, black beans and diced tomato. It was cooked to perfection! The crust was crispy and thin and every bite was an explosion of flavor and texture. I couldn't get enough of it. It was the most delicious pizza I've ever had, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves pizza.Pizza so good, it'll wreck your diet ?Vegetarian options: Lot of veggies as well as vegan cheese!Parking: Lot is small, possibly 5 cars can park comfortably.“
“Yes yes YES. The best hand pie I've ever had - the crust is crisp and flaky and flavorful - no soggy bottoms here. The filling is warm, soft and so tasty - a perfect foil to the crust. I got the Japanese beef curry and their famous mashed potato. At first bite I liked the curry better but then the potatoes came vying for the top. Doesn't matter which flavor won, I'm the ultimate winner!A few notes - the online ordering is disorienting. There are so many items out of stock because I think they do small batch bakes daily. When I went they had like 4/5 flavors and nothing sweet which is a little disappointing but it looks like a pretty small operation. And like other reviewers have said, they are small but two was a pretty hearty meal for me.“
“Ren's Mart is an Asian grocery store that opened in Ithaca in November 2021. It is a family business operated by father Rockey Ren and daughter Aneara Ren. The Ithaca location is the fourth store that owners Rockey Ren and partner Qing Li have opened in upstate New York, with other locations in Rochester, Syracuse, and Buffalo (under the name Asia Food Market). Ren's Mart offers an impressive variety of products for any and all Asian dishes and is considered one of the finest Asian supermarkets in central New York.“
“The lunch menu was small, but the food was amazing. The server was friendly and agreeable when I asked if a dish contained onions, which I dislike. He advised that the curry did contain a small amount of onions, but said that they are pureed into the sauce, and not easily noticed. He said with confidence, "this dish is so good, I would hate for you to miss it." I loved his confidence, and he was right, it was delectable! Our group all loved their meals, including the lentil soup, tofu salad, chickpea stew, and black bean burger. I love the history of Moosewood and love that they continue to serve veggie forward dishes, and clearly identify what is vegan.“
“My wife and I are frequent visitors to Northstar. It's the perfect neighborhood restaurant with delightful cocktails, delicious comfort food, and staff who are fun and funny. After a long week, Northstar is a soothing balm.Dietary restrictions: Most dishes are gluten free.“
“We stopped by for breakfast yesterday and for lunch to-go sandwiches today. They have a wide variety of things to order, including soups, bagels, pastries, smoothies and a bunch of drinks like coffee, tea and lemonades. The servers are pleasant and quick. You can stay in or take to go. Awesome local place!“
“The food was tasty I will say that, but I went in and got a single sandwich which was $20 after tax and a couple dollar tip, which I think is just kind of expensive for a not sit down type of restaurant. Also maybe other people don’t have this problem but it was too dark in there, I had to go over by the window to find my wallet in my purse to pay, especially since there wasn’t any place to put my stuff down at the register. The staff was pretty friendly, gave me good recommendations after I asked about what to get.“
“The food is really yummy! Also, great portions. I've only ordered to go but they are always fast and every thing is well packaged.Parking: If you use the green st garage it's not so far to walk but you do have to pay and parking is not always easy to find.“
“It was quick, fresh and delicious! You can choose purple or white rice, proteins and ~9 toppings. I had purple rice, bulgogi, pineapple, jalapeños, lettuce, zucchini, bean sprouts, corn, black beans, and kimchi with spicy mayo sauce. All good. You cannot go wrong with any combination.“
