Which isn't bad considering a number one at mcdonalds is damn near the same price!( I don't know if you have been to Ithaca mcdonalds lately especially at night time, but saying it sucks is an understatement! )“

“Tonight I placed a delivery order and it was fabulous. I ordered the fried haddock dinner with penne pasta and tossed salad. “This winery in downtown Ithica is in a beautiful building and has a small wine museum inside. The owner is so passionate and knowledgeable about the history of wine and winemaking. The tasting menu is small but wonderful with some off dry wines and dessert wines. I enjoyed the experience completely and did not leave empty handed.“

“My boyfriend and I went here together for the very first time and had an amazing experience. The food was fresh, the service was quick and our waitress was very kind. The only drawback to our experience was the manchild in the restaurant when we arrived. He was sitting at a table with 2 others dining in as we were, and decided that screaming at the waitress, the chef, and 2 other employees was an appropriate course of action after there was a misunderstanding when he and my boyfriend ordered something similar and the manchild was accidentally brought the wrong dish. With an air of not so subtle racism, he accused them of doing it on purpose, and demanded all of their meals (his as well as his other two very unfortunate dining companions) be completely comped, to which the other unfortunate people dining with the manchild, all completely horrified of his behavior, paid their tab and wanted to leave quickly. The employees at the establishment handled the situation SO professionally and immediately did everything to remedy the situation, which made our experience there even better. We ordered food to go, and will definitely be recommending this location to others and returning here our next time in Ithaca. Hopefully manchild will stay at home and cook his own food next time- and again- kudos to the lovely staff at Saigon!“

“Went with a group of 4 Freshmen college students. All the entrees and the pizza were really good. Good portions. Friendly service, it was very busy, but the server did very well while tending to several big tables at the same time! Will definitely be back.“

“Wonderful Food- Just Ask That They Be More Realistic About Prep Time.Their sushi is prepared well and the best deal in town. But you may want to double the time they give you for pick up orders. It's possible that they don't want to tell you the realistic time because it will sound too long. We ordered the Sushi for Two (which is easily enough for four-- and we have big appetites!) It was beautifully prepared-- but they told me 25 minutes and it was closer to an hour. Double the time, and then you will be very happy with this place!“

“What a beautiful experience. We arrived for an early dinner after a long hike (Buttermilk Falls). Our dogs (2) received the best welcome!!! A lovely big bowl of fresh cold water and bacon appetizer for them!!! And to top it off, our food was excellent! Staff were lovely!! Our server, Gina, made our visit very warm and welcomed!!! “I have always loved spicy Asian, but last night was a super great night for them. We got the Fish in chili oil, Mapo tofu, Singapore noodles, sautéed bok choy, Steamed dumplings and sautéed spicy garlic string beans. All five of us eating were in absolute heaven. Because everything tastes like Sysco food these days and is so expensive I never go out to eat anymore except here (and Poke LAVA). Such a treat and worth every bit of money. I haven't enjoyed a meal this much in forever. I wish I could eat this multiple times a week. 10 stars“

“This is truly a hidden gem! They offer lunch specials from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with a choice of 3 dishes + soup or 2 dishes + soup. The food is always incredibly fresh, and there is a great variety of dishes with both meat and vegetable options.

What I love most is that there are no restrictions on which dishes you can choose — you can freely mix and match anything you like. That flexibility is such a nice touch!

I ate here throughout an entire semester, and now that I’ve graduated and moved away, this is one of the places I miss the most. I genuinely want to recommend it to my friends because it deserves more attention. If you’re looking for delicious, fresh, and affordable comfort food, you should definitely give this place a try!“

“A surprisingly sweet café tucked inside the Cornell campus store. The coconut and pistachio macaroons were delightful — chewy, sweet, and full of flavor. Chocolate croissant wasn’t the fluffiest but still tasty, and the shortbread cookies were simple and satisfying. It’s a lovely, cozy corner to snack and study, surrounded by tributes to Cornell’s literary icons (Carl Sagan and Toni Morrison watching over you!). Plus, the prices are student-budget-friendly.“

Also there is rarely much of a queue so it is perfect for something fast. The Big Red Barn also has sandwiches but it takes them longer to make them, in my experience.“
