“Place is almost always busy, that tells you something. All kinds of folks, students, family groups. The I think it's avocado roll is delicious- all the food is really, and pricing is reasonable, plain atmosphere was what kept me away. But once a friend took me- I was hooked, the waiters are also usually very patient if you are with an elderly or slower person who needs bit of time (once they know you.) Totally recommend!“

“Tiny slow to get seated but not bad. Waitress very nice, no problems. Food selection was a little small, especially for nut allergies, and a little pricey. Short ribs w corn bread pudding and onion rings were excellently cooked but dish itself not super cohesive. Raspberry limoncello drink was a bit of a letdown, tasted like simple vodka + juice. Sloppy bacon burger was quite good and extremely filling -> all burgers are default double patty and triple buns. Would probably go back.“
“We made it just in time for a round of tasting at Six Mile Creek Vineyard. Superb service from Camille who is super knowledgeable in an unassuming and non-imposing manner! Thank you for the lovely evening! We bought 3 bottles from them! Personally, I love the Vignoles and Cabernet franc!“

“Went in on a Sunday evening, there were no tables available but my partner and I were able to get a seat at the bar. She had a glass of Chardonnay and I had a lovely glass of Chablis. Danielle was our bartender and she was great. We got 2 oyster platters with each of the 3 varieties, all of which were delicious. And because we were seated at the bar, we were able to have a conversation and share some jokes with the hostess, Nicole, whose station was nearby. Despite dealing with many walk in customers looking for tables that weren’t available, she was bright and friendly and was so pleasant to talk to. We’d definitely come back and recommend Simeon’s!“

“Just had an absolutely fantastic meal here! The oysters were so fresh and some of the best I’ve had. I got a special Cajun ruby red trout dish that was cooked to perfection with an amazing meld of flavors. My partner got the tried and true shrimp po boy and grits which was also delicious. Service was fantastic and atmosphere always great. Looking forward to going back.. kudos to the chef!!“

“I had the number P2. Pho with steak, brisket and meatball. I asked for a sub from the rice noodle to the glass noodle because that's what I'm used. I was told that was fine but next time their will be an upcharge. An upcharge just to change the type of noodle is just unfair. When I received my food I noticed there weren't very much noodles in the bowl. I literally finished the noodles in 3 regular scoops. That was disappointing, other than that the food was good“

“The pizza here is really great, and the atmosphere, while small is really charming. The service is great and the food is really consistent. We tried the Beet appetizer with whipped ricotta, pistachios and mint and it was perfectly balanced and so delicious. The only thing I would change about this place is the drinking vessels. The beer is served in a Mason jar, while cute, it is less pleasant to drink from than a pint glass. There wine comes in a shout thick rimmed glass. This is just a preference but I find a thinner glass more enjoyable and elegant.“
“I would absolutely recommend! the owner is knowledgeable and loves to share his knowledge. All of the wines were good, I thought the Bordeaux blend was AMAZING, and I loved the darker port as well. with only four wines to taste it felt like a wide range of flavors.“

“Food is good (GET THE GRILLED SALMON!)! Ordered the grilled dates, grill salmon and cheeseburger (which comes with a generous amount of fries). Limited menu options means it's easy to choose what to eat and more likely that the food is good, which is exactly the case.Grilled dates comes in 3 pieces which is a bit awkward to share but it's good. Grilled salmon is perfection, crispy on the outside yet so tender on the inside, sauce goes really well with it. Cheese burger is simple but good, the bun is so soft, fries is just fries nothing special.Server is nice, keeps checking in and surprised that they would replace the cutlery after appetizer, but they did forget the knives so oh wells. Overall a very good experience and will definitely go back.“

“Consistently good food and a welcoming experience. We started with the lotus root fritters and the warm soba, both were excellent. We came back to have the dahl since it was soo good in our previous visit. I had the Kerala curry which was vegan and delicious. This will be our regular date night place.Vegetarian options: Large section of vegetarian and vegan options with the ability to make things vegetarian or vegan. Menu is clearly labeled.“

“I have tasted many pizzas in my life, but none of them can compare to the one I had at Pizza Aroma. It was a thin crust pizza with feta cheese, black beans and diced tomato. It was cooked to perfection! The crust was crispy and thin and every bite was an explosion of flavor and texture. I couldn't get enough of it. It was the most delicious pizza I've ever had, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves pizza.Pizza so good, it'll wreck your diet ?Vegetarian options: Lot of veggies as well as vegan cheese!Parking: Lot is small, possibly 5 cars can park comfortably.“

“My family and I went to the restaurant to celebrate my grandson & his mother's birthdays. I've eaten there before also with family. The food so good not super hot only what you add makes it hot. You can tell the food was fresh and very delicious. The server Kristopher was very courteous, and very helpful. We all appreciated his service. The restaurant did well hiring him. We live in Horseheads but Zocalo is our go to restaurant when we are in Ithaca.Parking: The restaurant is in a mall, so there's plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: I and my daughter-in-law have Wheelchairs. The person who sat us provide a table where both our chairs fit well.“

“Standard looking pub type restaurant with a good beer and drink menu. Food menu has the typical items (burgers, wings, salads, etc...).I had the boneless wings with the ale house sauce and my wife got crab cakes and onion rings. They both were much better than what you find at other places. Ale House sauce was just spicy enough and had great flavor. The crab cakes were the real deal and not crab with breading and filler.Service was good and very friendly.“

“The lunch menu was small, but the food was amazing. The server was friendly and agreeable when I asked if a dish contained onions, which I dislike. He advised that the curry did contain a small amount of onions, but said that they are pureed into the sauce, and not easily noticed. He said with confidence, "this dish is so good, I would hate for you to miss it." I loved his confidence, and he was right, it was delectable! Our group all loved their meals, including the lentil soup, tofu salad, chickpea stew, and black bean burger. I love the history of Moosewood and love that they continue to serve veggie forward dishes, and clearly identify what is vegan.“

“Their espresso is the best that I have had in Ithaca, and is the best espresso I've had outside NYC. It has sweetness and fullness, with a very mild tang of acidity. They make sure to give you an actual espresso cup and not a paper monstrosity. I would recommend this place very highly. I think most people treat coffee like a liquid dessert. They pump their full of artificial flavors and sugar, and then wonder why they felt terrible after drinking it. Coffee is an experience. You should enjoy just the espresso, with no additional fluff. Press Café makes it easy to do that. The only criticism I have, and this is truly looking for one, is that I wish they were open longer. If they were open earlier I would give them a lot more business- perhaps every day. If they were open later I would do the same.“

“The vibe here is awesome. Love the 60s-70s music. Super chic inside. The wait staffs energy didn't match the vibe but they were still friendly. I wish there were more unique menu options. We ordered the Brie Stuffed Brioche, Sriracha Brussels sprouts and fish tacos. The Brioche was a bite dry for my liking. Not as impressive as I thought it'd be but still okay. The fish tacos lacked flavor and definitely had more veggies than fish, and barely any mango sauce. The rice that it came with was good. Would we go here again? Maybe.“

“What a great spot. Loved everything about this place. Sports bar friendly, bartender Chris made us feel at home and suggested cocktails we should try. Wings were delicious. Sunday mid day stop turned into a 2-3 hour stay (they also had free pool) Will be back for sure. Didn’t disappoint, hidden gem.“

“Love the ambience and the local owners but unfortunately the dining experience left a lot to be desired. Our waitress was very scattered brained and never placed our orders in front of the person who actually ordered it( there were only 3 of us). Food was okay. Spinach salad and sweet potato fries were excellent but the burger was dry and tasteless ( ordered medium and got well done), tomato and cucumber salad was drowned in dressing, short ribs (unlike any other short ribs) was like a big piece of dry roast and was very mediocre and garlic mashed potatoes were nothing special. I will give them another try but will not order any beef as they don't know how to prepare it.“

“Great food, tasty and a good customer service. The Carne Assada was amazing, we also tried the shrimp ceviche and it was fresh and delicious. The complimentary nachos were hot and crunchy.Overall, everything was amazing and was a lucky strike to have chosen Old Mexico to dinner while passing through Ithaca.Friendly staff and fast service, even with the restaurant packed. So another positive thing on them. Definitely worth the visit if you are looking for a good Mexican restaurant“

“Drove to Ithaca on a whim and decided to try more establishments. So glad I tried souvlaki house! The food is amazing! Out of towners don't be taken back if it's empty - it movesss and the food is delicious. Margherita pizza delicious with a kick. The souvlaki was fresh, the chicken grilled and savory and the tzatziki sauce was well balanced. The pasta was hugeeeee more than expected. Inside is cozy and clear they've been a staple for years. Service is kind and attentive!“

“Be prepared to get into a waiting list. The vibe was good but not super cool. It’s not too loud so you can enjoy talking beside the food.I tried the turkey breast sandwich and it was casual and fresh but not something really surprising. The portion size was medium if you are hungry don’t go for it. However, the red’s cocktail is also exciting to try out. 51$ for a sandwich, French fries, and 2 glass of cocktails. The staff care and pay attention to you if you want to call them.A good normal place that you can spend your casual time easily. But a bit expensive for a casual and a twice a week to go place.“

“First time trying ethiopian food and our taste buds sang. Loved all the flavors and presentation. Sadly we could not eat it all and had to take it home; not a bad thing right?! (They gave heathly portions). If you love eating with your fingers, way to go. But I choose a fork. The atmosphere nothing to talk about but the food sure is. If you haven't tried, you must. ?“
“Excellent place to eat food. They have a huge variety of foods. I actually like them better than the dining halls because the salad bar has more options and is more organized. They also pay by the lb for a lot of stuff, so you don't have to feel compelled to stuff yourself to get your money's worth. On the go snacks are available too.“

“What a gem! The service was fast and the atmosphere was quite cozy. The Hot Stone Pot Bibimbap was amazing, as well as the Jajangmyeon. The Spicy garlic fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. The portions were very filling, and we felt very welcomed. The staff members were attentive. The server at the restaurant was very kind and stopped to talk about Ithaca and the colleges nearby. We loved the assortment of Korean/Chinese fusion dishes! It felt very homey. It was just what we needed. Will visit next time we stop by! Highly recommend.“

“went here a couple of days ago and got their beef noodle soup, soup dumplings, fried dough (youtiao), and savory sticky rice. I’d say the food is pretty legit and tasty, but the youtiao is extremely oily and I find that they charge 50 cents for takeout containers and bag (they only charge a dollar for me though). I have seen many reviews saying they are rude, but I would say our interaction was just like with any other (I think they could just get a little grumpy since they are indeed Asian elderly). other than that, I would recommend! they have others (drink/ desserts) on their menu too but I wish they were in English so that others can try them out as well.“

“I have been here twice now and both times have been nothing short of exceptional. The food is delicious! This recent time my boyfriend and I shared chicken wings as an appetizer. Very tender and crispy with great flavor, we loved their homemade blue cheese dressing. I got the blackened salmon with grits. I’m not a giant fan of grits, but these I would come back for again and again. My boyfriend had the impossible burger, which I had a bite of, and was delicious. Crazy to think it was meatless! The food was cooked extremely well. I loved their selection of non-alcoholic drinks. I had a citrus spritzer that was delicious and refreshing. The wait staff were all so nice and helpful for questions we had. The music that was on was not overwhelming and added to the wonderful chill atmosphere. I look forward to coming back in the summer to try their summer menu.“

“I came in looking to grab a good breakfast and be able to type on my computer for a while. The staff was more than helpful with finding a table with an electrical outlet as well as making sure I was taken care of but not hovered over. My coffee cup never emptied and the waitress (Amber) was smiling and genuinely happy to be there. They have guest wifi that can be connected to as well as a comfortable atmosphere that reminds me of the diners in my childhood. Their food is great and portions were perfect. The server told me about the owners sourcing locally and making all their own products - like the sausage, eggs and home fries. 10/10 I would come again In a heartbeat!“

“This place was located inside an old sketchy worn out 80's or 90's shopping mall but the actual inside of the cafe was clean and well maintained! They had a variety of sandwiches, drinks, and pastries you can order and to go items to pick up! Don't let the outside fool you!“

“We arrived at 8:30 on a Saturday night, not having realized the restaurant closes at 9:00. Despite showing up so late in the evening, and the entire room being packed, we were quickly sat at a cozy window booth. Every other table in the house was occupied - some by a party of 15 people! We expected our server to be quite busy, but he emerged from the kitchen a few minutes after seating us, and kindly took our order. It wasn’t long before our garlic naan and curries appeared. My chicken makhani was flavorful and filled with tons of chicken. We did not want to linger long past 9:00; thanks to the fast yet friendly service, we were able to grab the check and walk out the door by 9:10. Will absolutely be back to try the buffet. Thank you again for seating us so close to closing time ??♥️“

“Mushroom Empanadas- Light dough, not heavy, with a bit of crisp which enhances the mushroom filling; very yummy. Our 3 taco choices; Beef tongue was super tender and very tasty; excellent. Al Pastor (pork) heavily seasoned with paprika, for taste bugs, but still very well done and tasty. Shrimp was very good with the right amount of sauce to complement. The tacos were very generous with their fillings. This is a place you don't want to miss.Bonus - don't let the steps leading down detur as they have an elevator in the back; especially for those with a handicap.“

“It's a really good pizza place! I like Franco's. The pizza was good, but it was a bit too greasy and the service was good but they only said thank you and have a great day and I was a new customer. Wish they talked to the new customers more and get to know about them but it was good ??“
