“Franco's just moved. They are now located in the old Cornell Laundromat on State street. They also are selling slices. I got a slice and sat down. Old 70's rock music played in the background. A great poster of a young women on a 60's scooter on the wall. The slice was delicious! Thin crust cheese slice. I am so excited about this place. Gotta try a whole pie next time.“
“Something for everyone, with a pair of teenagers, my wife and I have trouble finding a place we all can agree on- thankful to find this place- pizza, burgers and …Mediterranean! Fast and delicious- see pic of lamb over rice!Take a minute to introduce yourself to the owner.“
“I picked up so atmosphere is not a concern! I ordered a Joey( Bless your legacy brother) plus mushrooms and 1/2 pound of onion rings(because they are homemade!!)OMG!!!! AMAZING!!! I asked for it uncut so i could finish it at home. It was prepared perfectly! What an awesome crew from phone call to service!“
“Delectable food and exceptional service. Taverna Banfi defies expectations for a student-run restaurant. The dishes are absolutely gorgeous both taste and presentation wise. The duck is tender and savory with the perfect amount of sweetness from the maple sauce and sweet potato side. The calamari is crispy and light. The wine pairing is perfect. The table-side focaccia is tender and airy.Perfect for elegant date nights or special occasions. Prices range from $30-70 per person. Parking is limited“
“Busy restaurant with limited seating. We got there 15 minutes after opening on a Friday and it was already packed with Cornell students. Large wine selection but very limited beer or soft drinks. I had the tomato pie which was slightly more burnt than desired. My partner had the giardino which looked much better (less burnt). Overall it was good, but there is a lot of hype.Vegetarian options: Many dishes are vegetarian, meat dishes are clearly labeled. Not many options for vegans or dairy free crowd.Dietary restrictions: Tomato pie is vegan, menu claims to be able to have vegan cheese as a substitute for the pizzas.“
“Had a fantastic time out with a bunch of friends last night. I had the chicken over fries with white and hot sauce it was great! I didn't have the mozzarella sticks but my friend loved them and the pizza she got too. Portion sizes were very large. Guy behind the counter was super nice and personable. 10/10 will for sure be coming back again next time I'm in the area.“
“We just had dinner here tonight. We are always searching for a good wood fired pizza and boy did we find it here!! The pizza was absolutely amazing! The chicken wing appetizers were delicious! Atmosphere was great! Ciao will definitely be our go to place to eat. ❤️ “
“Drove to Ithaca on a whim and decided to try more establishments. So glad I tried souvlaki house! The food is amazing! Out of towners don't be taken back if it's empty - it movesss and the food is delicious. Margherita pizza delicious with a kick. The souvlaki was fresh, the chicken grilled and savory and the tzatziki sauce was well balanced. The pasta was hugeeeee more than expected. Inside is cozy and clear they've been a staple for years. Service is kind and attentive!“
“We’re big fans of Gola Osteria, which offers beautifully prepared food with a seasonal menu rotation. It’s not hard to spend a lot of money here, but it always feels worth it.The swordfish special has been excellent whenever we’ve seen it, the grilled octopus is done perfectly, the eggplant parm features outstanding red sauce, and the black spaghetti is a hit. Add a great bottle of wine, including some affordable gems.Goal’s space is a little odd, and can be confusing for first-time visitors. Use the intercom at the front door to be buzzed in, or go around to the patio door if it’s not snowed in. The old architecture also means it’s sometimes noisy in here.“
“Have been coming to Ned's for over 4 years. My kid is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts (cashews, pistachios, hazelnuts, almonds). Ned's is a completely nut-free place and there have been no issues so far. I am very thankful to them for being considerate about these allergies!“
“We finally made it to Mercato, and wish we would have gone earlier! The restaurant is very small and quaint, which can make it feel a little crowded, but it made it more quiet and romantic too. The service was great, and our server was very knowledgeable about the wines, and helped out pick out a great one. The bread was delicious to start. I ordered the chicken Marsala and it was the perfect light sauce but flavorful, I thought it was simply delicious. My husband got the black pepper fettuccine and really enjoyed it as well. We finished dinner with coffee and limoncello, and thought both were super delicious. One thing to note is that they open at 5:30 and (to my understanding) don't take reservations so if you'd like to eat later, it can get tricky with timing. We will definitely be back!“
“5 stars are not enough for this absolutely extraordinary 100/100 experiencethat my fiancé and I had. The owner Stefano was such a blessing and he is the definition of what an amazing restaurant owner should be. He was so kind, crazy outgoing and overall very pleasant to talk to and be around. And the pizza omg, so ABSOLUTELY delicious!!!!! I’m from New Jersey and since moving up here, I had yet to find a pizza joint that compared to any of the others back home but LET ME TELL YOU, this place knocks those ones out of the park! The undercarriage is perfectly crispy, cheese is melty and the sauce is seasoned great too! We got a Chicago style, a honey barbecue, white broccoli, and a margarita. They were all the best versions of those pizzas I have ever had ESPECIALLY the barbecue and the Chicago! We only added one photo and that’s of the cannolis because we couldn’t wait to eat the pizza and garlic knots so much so that we forgot to take pictures! All in all, great place, great owner, amazing food, definitely our new spot!“
