“Oh, what a view! Such a serene place to dine. Good variety on the menu. Three of us and we all were pleased with our dinners. Not the place to go if you want to save money, but what good restaurant is these days? I had the Glenora (the winery this restaurant is connected to) Merlot and it was a quality offering, nice and full bodied.“
“As a part of my Sperm Donation World Tour of the USA, after an epic morning of doing Watkins Glen State Park as I made my way up to Geneva would be rude not to hit some wineries along the way. This was my 2nd stop, I stayed in the Inn the night before so got a free tasting love the Brute De Brut and Revolution Red then followed in preference order Cab Franc, Sparkling Rose and the Cab Sav.“

“We visited here and were cautious because we are from the south where pit BBQ is king, and figured it might not be good. Surprised! It was good. Service was good. Everything good. If you are from the south, order greens. They were fantastic. Brisket, and pulled pork also were great“

“Sunday of Memorial Day weekend the band was excellent. Great singer and keyboard player. Other three bandmates had really good chemistry. Loved the popcorn and cold beverages. Beef on weck was 11/10. It was a really good sandwich. Pickle wedge and chips were good too.“

The local ingredients create a hearty meal that fueled me rather than weighed me down. Can't wait to try another burger or a grilled cheese and soup. “we popped in for some karokee on ours girls trip to Watkins Glen. the night was amazing and so much fun! The bartenders were fabulous and know how to make a drink! The prices were surprisingly low for the amount of alcohol they gove ya!!! I recommend the specialty drinks. Everyone there made us feel so welcome and we danced and sang the night away!!! Thanks for a wonderful night!!!“
“After a long hike, this winery was exactly what we needed! We enjoyed a wine flight, and every single wine we tried was delicious. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience even better.
We also ordered the olives as a snack, and wow… they were AMAZING! I only wish they sold them because I would have taken several jars home.
The wines were so good that we ended up bringing home quite a few bottles. We also loved that the cost of the wine flight is credited back when you purchase enough bottles-it was such a nice bonus.
Between the beautiful views, fantastic wines, friendly staff, and relaxing atmosphere, this is the perfect place to spend an afternoon. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We stopped in yesterday and had a nice bottle of wine. Assistant Wine Maker Rhett Seeley stopped by to chat. Never met him before, but he was passing by and we asked him for some recommendations. He was extremely helpful and friendly. We ended up buying the wines he recommended as well as some beautiful garlic, a bag of coffee and some wine glasses! They are known for their dry reds and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend adding Hector Wine Company to your list of stops along the wine trail.“

“I came here for my birthday dinner and it was the best steak Ive ever had! The food was absolutely delicious, and the view of the lake made it even more special. Our waiter, Matt, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and really made the night enjoyable. The chef also came out to say hello and was very nice. Highly recommend The Main Deck for a great dining experience on the water!“

“Did not have a reservation for a tasting on a Friday afternoon, but we were seated immediately. We got a few different Rieslings, some other whites, and tried a few of their reds. We also had a charcuterie board. They were very helpful throughout and explained the different wines, grapes used, and where they were grown.
Very nice property with great employees.“
