“Anyone that doesn't rate this winery 5 stars has no palate. I have been to Germany and visited their best (Prum, Haag, von Schubert, Kerpen and others). I know what great Riesling is. This winery hits greatness whereas others are very good, at best. There are some new wineries that show great promise but they are all vying for #2.“

My mom and I each did a wine tasting (we had to make a reservation) then joined their wine club and ordered 6 bottles because we enjoyed it so much! They have good whites that are perfect for poolside drinking and reds that are full of tannins.“

“Stayed here the night of Aug 21. Stay included a 5 wine sampling and a complimentary bottle of wine in the room. The room is just ok, but the views on the patio of the room are amazing. All the employees were very nice as well. Stopped by here while traveling to Niagara falls from Maryland, and the wife already wants to come back next year.“

“Can't say enough good things about Keuka Spring Vineyards. Sheri and Allie were very attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the wines and the Vineyard in general. They made for a fun wonderful experience. Incredible view overlooking the lake and stunning tasting room! There isn't one wine we didn't like. I would highly recommend a visit to Keuka Spring Vineyards, you won't be disappointed.“

“There is only one pizza place on this corner. It is Cam’s New York Pizzeria… just FYI as Google currently has it on their map as 2 different places.The pizza was EXCELLENT! “Little restaurant on the Seneca wine trail. Great food, good portions and our server was very attentive. Breaded mushrooms and mozzarella sticks were tasty. It was prime rib night and wow! It was huge! Cooked to medium rare as ordered and was very good. The au jus that came with it added the perfect amount of saltiness. My husband loved his chicken parm - 1/2 inch thick breaded chicken breast with yummy melted mozzarella on top served over spaghetti. He was full about 3/4 through his meal but liked it so much he finished it! Meals came with a salad and a side. We'd definitely visit again! Of note is that they don't take reservations.“

“Lots of seating, fast service and good food“

“Really loved the beer here and the bands playing (2 different bands in the 2 buildings). The views are spectacular. The heaters over part of the outdoor dining area were perfect because we went on a very busy Saturday. We had a somewhat large group- 16 people and simply called ahead to make sure it was okay. They were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back here with friends/family.“

“Favorite FLX brewery! The beer is always delicious and the view is great. We rotate between sitting inside and throwing a frisbee outside. They are always very friendly, especially to our dog. The owner, Ian, is an Eagles fan and talk to us on our first visit 6 years ago. We've come back every year since on our anniversary trip.“

“We're not from around this area (or country), but on our way back from a hike, we stopped over at this winery. The views are spectacular of the lake and the wines (especially the Riesling), is delicious! Reccomend 110% if you have some time.“

“Highly recommend - 10/10. The pickle and wine pairing is just so fun. My husband and I even had our day before wedding event at Toast. Everyone LOVED it - especially since they had never heard of a wine and pickle pairing before! Jayne was so nice when helping us organize everything. She and her staff had the place open after hours to host 50 people for wine and pickle pairings or just a glass of wine and some snacks. They even had different pairings of wine and pickles than when we first tried it! Thank you Jayne, Mike, and all the Toast Winery staff!“

“My wife and I stopped here while we were touring wineries and breweries. I tried some of their IPAs and their Oktoberfest, and she got the seasonal pumpkin ale. We went back two nights later and had more. The beer was very good, and they had a great variety. The service was great, and the venue was really cool with both an indoor and outdoor area. They have an amazing view of Seneca Lake too, and we got to see an awesome sunset. We did not try their food, but they do have a pretty good menu. They've got some pretty cool merch for sale too.“

“If you’ve seen the movie “The Menu” this is the Seneca Lake equivalent however without the tragic ending. Watch the movie then go to this place because the food is phenomenal, maybe you’ll see the connection. In all seriousness great place to eat, recommend reservations in advance, if you love German cuisine this is a must while in the Lake Seneca region. Indoor and outdoor seating, it’s just a fantastic place and would tell anyone to go and give it a rip for the experience and food.“

The prices are reasonable, the staff is so kind (at least 3 different people were continuously checking in on us) and the food is very good. Skip the bacon and opt for the homemade sausage. Get there early…it gets busy quickly.“

Very friendly. Explained the wines well (forgot her name).We found their wines had such a great taste. Full bodied. Many to choose from too. Sooo good! Must have been. I know I bought every wine from my tasting. I usually never do that. We bought a case and probably 3 bottles beside that.Just like other wineries in the area, tastings were very reasonable. It was very clean, and staff was very friendly. View of Lake Seneca outside was great.We would definitely make this a stop when we go back. I know we will be purchasing many bottles again!“

“Massive winery and distillery. We weren't sure of how the process worked, but the staff was able to guide us on what we needed to do.The staff was very knowledgeable when discussing the different whiskeys and wine we were tasting. The building and grounds were beautiful.I think having something posted right when you walk in the door to explain the tasting process would be helpful.“

“I really loved this winery. We decided to get food at this winery compared to the other ones in the area. The food definitely was worth it. I ended up getting the Fresh Seasonal Vegetable Quesadilla which was very good. The vegetables tasted fresh. I highly recommend their slaw (it has chipotle in it). The slaw was probably the best thing about the dish. The wine flight also came out pretty quick and all the wines were delicious.“

“I took my daughter out to dinner tonight at the Keuka Restaurant, we had DAWN as our server and she was fantastic! Very sweet and attentive, she took great care of us. We love going to the Keuka for dinner, the pulled pork nachos are to die for and the food is consistently great quality with enormous portions! Highly recommend!“

“I added photos of the menu because I couldn’t find any online. Food was great and super fresh. Also excellent value for your money. Everything was made very quickly. Many reviews have said this already but the prices on the menu are cash price. If you use a card they have a 4% fee added which isn’t a big deal. They also have signs posted all over the place telling you of this charge. We will definitely be ordering from here again.“

“Great food, music, drinks and atmosphere“

“Gorgeous, delicious, and amazing.I can only say good things about Catharine Valley Winery. I came by with a group of 30 of my grad school friends to celebrate a birthday (please make a reservation if you have a big group, they don't usually have so many people there) and we all had so much fun. Since we had so many people, we bought a wide variety of bottles of wine and were able to sample and share them among our group. They were all so delicious.Not only is the wine amazing, but the view is to breathtaking. There is a perfect view of Seneca Lake a few miles north of Watkins Glen and the way the sun glints off the water and the cool breeze that comes off the lake creates a very peaceful ambiance.I will definitely be back soon.“

“You won’t regret stopping here. We had the sweet flight and shared.nice size samples. We walked out with one of each and a few doubles. I however don’t like sparkling wine but that’s a personal preference. Finger lakes has so many wineries this is one I wouldn’t skip. Friendly hostess and clean environment with a few gifts on the shelves.“

“I've stopped at HWC a couple of times during work/wine trips upstate on word of mouth recommendations. The service and hospitality has always been wonderful, and I've always had great conversations with the staff. The wines are great too! As with any fuller-bodied reds in the FLX, they vary a lot from vintage to vintage, but I've had enough wonderful, age-worthy wines here that I'd always stop by and taste through the current offerings to see if there's anything I want to bring home. Wish y'all were distributed in NJ!“
