We stopped in yesterday and had a nice bottle of wine. Assistant Wine Maker Rhett Seeley stopped by to chat. Never met him before, but he was passing by and we asked him for some recommendations. He was extremely helpful and friendly. We ended up buying the wines he recommended as well as some beautiful garlic, a bag of coffee and some wine glasses! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, enjoyable flight samples, and great Manhattan.
We had excellent service here. While you won't get the views of the lake like a lot of other places in the area, I can confidently say the wine was the most consistently excellent across the board of all the places we went to. We had 4 dry reds and 2 different dry Riesling vintages. The reds were all fantastic, especially the Syrah and Cab Sav, but the 2022 Riesling was so impressive we ended up leaving with a bottle of that over the reds, which we are normally predisposed to.
