“Stopped here for lunch after visiting two wineries. We didn't have wine but I had cabbage soup, my wife had an orzo pilaf salad from the deli, and we split the fall turkey sandwich. Staff was very friendly and we didn't wait long at all. It was enough to feel satisfied without feeling grossly full. The food and vibe is like a better version of Panera. Stop here if you're hungry for lunch!”
“Terrific location overlooking Keuka. Massive porch with a big cover. Great for drinks or dining. Limited menu, but delicious food. Best muscles I've ever had. Live Music on Fridays for happy hour. Lots of happy people from the lakes having a good time.”
“Went here for lunch, food is a great price and was out fast. Ate my burger in like 5 seconds it was so good and the fries were better than anywhere in town. Will be coming here a lot more often! Can't beat the price”
“Sam (waitress) hustled and was pleasant as she handled the entire dining room alone. Food was on point. Atmosphere is downscale but themed to railroads. A good local choice for eggs. Coffee. Pancakes. Etc.”
“A lovely locally owned and operated diner. Step back in time to a cozy small town eatery. All day breakfast ,daily lunch specials, and homemade dessert. Food is always good and prices are decent.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu.”
“Very well managed clean well kept bathrooms. Neat well kept bar & dining room. A lot of my family are veterans and it's good to see a place where veterans can go to hang out with fellow veterans. In this case it was an opportunity to honor a veteran who had passed away. For that I give my thanks to his fellow veterans and their families who keep the VFW s open and operational.”
“We drove by and this place is so easy to see from the roadway. We stopped to see what this place was all about. Apparently it was another winery called "Sharkys" or something. The place is huge and maybe too large for this brewery, but it may need the space in the winter months for certain. We stopped here and they said they opened up maybe a year ago if I remember. I got a sample list of beers to sample, then ending up with a hazy IPA as always for me.We had food, ordered in the front, and pick it up when your pager goes off. The food was good, the staff was friendly and helpful on any questions, and how about that view, it's incredible from that high up.Overall great stop, will stop again as a great brewery to visit in the area.”
“Unexpected gem. Stopped with friends and family when we found the weinery closed. Wine was very good. Staff was awesome. Try the sherry!! Really interesting. We will be back.”
“Had the burger plate special. Huge burger and generous side of fries. 5 stars is not enough!!! A definite 10!!! Delicious!! Will be a regular stop on my way back from the Windmill Owner/cook was super nice, friendly, accommodating. Can't say enough great things about this wonderful establishment”
“Absolutely amazing dining experience.... Amazing burgers with fresh ingredients. Amazing staff. The one girl even tried to help me find old wine from their reserve.. this was our first time visiting and WILL NOT be our last... great food and service..”
“Stayed here the night of Aug 21. Stay included a 5 wine sampling and a complimentary bottle of wine in the room. The room is just ok, but the views on the patio of the room are amazing. All the employees were very nice as well. Stopped by here while traveling to Niagara falls from Maryland, and the wife already wants to come back next year.”
“We loved the wines and more so our wine guide, Michelle. After being turned away at 4:10 at a neighboring winery, we were greated warmly by Michelle. The NV Brut is fav. Thank u for making day off fr9m te India better day. I'd definitely recommend my customers to you wimery!”
“Bought a couple croissants and Wow. They are beautifully laminated, have a perfectly flaky exterior with delectable, chewy interior. Plus, they're generously portioned! Delicious.”
“We stopped there yesterday and boy I’m glad we did!! We had been there years ago before the new tasting room was added and couldn’t remember the name. I thought the house looked familiar so we gave it a try!! It was the same place with the same little dog, Molly, that we remembered!! Of course we did a tasting and they did not disappoint! Stacy was a great host and was very fun to do a tasting with!! She helped us pick out our wines and let us know of a great sale on a case of wine!!!! We will definitely be back to stock up on their wines. We loved all of the sweet wines!”
“Oh my god this place ROCKS!!!!!! We got the curry puffs and ooooh my god I want a million more!!!!! Thai iced coffee? Bomb. Green sauce w mock duck? Bomb. Pad Thai? Bomb. Probably everything else? Bomb. Will definitely be traveling from Syracuse to eat here more. 10/10 I will recommend this place to literally anyone with ears who will listen to me.”
“The straight up - best Root Beer on Earth. The selection of actual beer is excellent as well. But we return time and time again for the wood fired pizza and root beer.”
“Great beer and great pizza. The cream ale and Kolsch are fantastic. The pizza was great as well. Service was spot on. Drinks and food came out fast and hot. It was busy at 2pm on a Sunday in winter which says a lot. I’d definitely come back.”
“We had a fabulous time at the wine bar! Our waitress was accommodating, tentative, and super friendly! The food and wine was delicious. I will definitely stop back in.”
“Little restaurant on the Seneca wine trail. Great food, good portions and our server was very attentive. Breaded mushrooms and mozzarella sticks were tasty. It was prime rib night and wow! It was huge! Cooked to medium rare as ordered and was very good. The au jus that came with it added the perfect amount of saltiness. My husband loved his chicken parm - 1/2 inch thick breaded chicken breast with yummy melted mozzarella on top served over spaghetti. He was full about 3/4 through his meal but liked it so much he finished it! Meals came with a salad and a side. We'd definitely visit again! Of note is that they don't take reservations.”
“Yum. Yum... but rather ADAMANTLY NOT vegan ?? but I get it, the other one is vegan so people probably expect that ??Vegetarian options: Most things can come as veg minus the soups that are fish baseDietary restrictions: They have gluten free options here tooParking: Good luck ??Wheelchair accessibility: They couldn't get in the front I don't think but the back is flat”
“Holy cannoli if you are ever in this area, you have to stop here. This will be a stopping destination from now on. The cannolis are the best in New York. The staff is super friendly and it seems to be a popular stop for locals. Seriously if you don't stop by and buy a cannoli there is something seriously wrong with you. You will be missing out on something amazing.”
“Amazing coffee, I get the espressos and my wife gets the lattes (both of which they can do decaf or half caffeine, and they taste great). They even roast their own beans, they bake their own pastries! And the aesthetic inside is super pleasing — bricky and cozy.”
“Everytime I visit Watkins Glenn I always start my day at Oak Leaf Cafe. The food and coffee is absolutely exquisite. A must have. I always feel like I am being transported into a world created by Tolkien himself.”

“The staff at Lakeside are very friendly and helpful to any need that arises. Our room was very clean and comfortable. If you want a location close to wineries, breweries or distilleries, this is a perfect place to stay in the beautiful finger lakes area.Nearby activities: Watkins Glen is a very short drive away from Lakeside. It is a small, quaint town which offers great dining and evening entertainment.Walkability: The resort has paved roads for walking and there are nice views of Seneca Lake. Watkins Glen offers great shopping with easy access along its Main Street by foot.”
“The server was nice but could not operate the wood burner appropriately, so the place was filled with smoke. The beer was delicious, though. We did a flight. The only terrible one was the gluten-free option. The Amber was a super well-balanced, perfect mid-strength beer. We scored a growler of that to take back to our little lakeside cabin. 1 extra star for them trying their best to fix the smokiness.”
“Great place to stay. Rooms were amazing. View from the room was unbeatable! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Beer and food were very good also! We will be back!”
“Good food, decent price, amazing waitress (had a horseshoe tattoo on her arm).Vegetarian options: FruitParking: Large shared lotKid-friendliness: I'd definitely bring my kids. Kids only section on menu too.”
“Such a fantastic place! Absolutely beautiful on the inside and incredibly clean. The food was spectacular, and the coffee heavenly. We love the farm-to-table emphasis, and of course the cat theme! Cannot recommend enough.”
“Excellent baked goods with a large variety to choose from. Sandwiches are made with a more upscale toppings and chooses in breads or rolls. Can buy wine by the bottle or glass as well as soda, water or teas. Wine tasting available in the winery next door.”
