“Did not have a reservation for a tasting on a Friday afternoon, but we were seated immediately. We got a few different Rieslings, some other whites, and tried a few of their reds. We also had a charcuterie board. They were very helpful throughout and explained the different wines, grapes used, and where they were grown.

“To be honest, I am not at all experienced as a wine taster, and was a bit intimidated to sign up for a wine tasting. However, this winery visit was one of the highlights of our trip to the finger lakes! My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon in the beginning of June and were well attended, with great stories and service. We left with a bottle each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah that we felt were very special. Reading now about the attention to detail on their vineyard management and winemaking processes, I am even more glad that we stopped in. 👍😊“

“As a part of my Sperm Donation World Tour of the USA, after an epic morning of doing Watkins Glen State Park as I made my way up to Geneva would be rude not to hit some wineries along the way. This was my 2nd stop, I stayed in the Inn the night before so got a free tasting love the Brute De Brut and Revolution Red then followed in preference order Cab Franc, Sparkling Rose and the Cab Sav.“

“Dog friendly inside and out, they even have a dog park for your pup to run a bit.
The wines were fantastic, they had the best Gewurztraminer of all the places we sampled. Our host was super-attentive and was very helpful with the details about each of the wines we tried.
Our pup gives it two paws up, he got plenty of scritches and 3 dog treats!
We will definitely visit this pet friendly location on any future visits to the area.“

“We decided to stop at this winery because it was on the way back to our Airbnb. They only serve dry wines, which we are not great fans of. However, the wines we tried were pretty good and we liked most of them. The service was outstanding. The person serving the flights was very friendly and willing to tell stories and talk about the wine. It seemed like everyone who showed up had an equally good experience. Even if you are not a fan of dry wines, I would recommend stoppping at this winery. You will have a great experience.“

“Dog friendly inside and out. What an appropriately named winery, the view truly is amazing. Our host was super friendly, we did a tasting and ordered flights, she was super helpful with the wine descriptions. She also gave our pup some treats.
Really great location, looks small from the parking lot, but there was plenty of seating inside. The wines were great, definitely recommended Brylee's Blush.
Really appreciate they are pet friendly.“

“This past weekend we visited Lamoreaux for a wine tasting. Keep in mind it is winter and slow season. Some places in the area had also closed due to the weather but they had stayed open and I am so glad we had the chance to do a tasting here. The location itself is beautiful. Michaela was so kind and knowledgeable on the wines. Every winery has its own characteristics and selection and she knew theirs very well and made some wonderful suggestions based on what we had liked so far. She went above and beyond for us. The atmosphere was perfect and we easily spent an hour here having a relaxed tasting and chatting with our server as well as other guests.“

“Miles Wine Cellars was the perfect place for our small, intimate wedding. The setting was stunning and our stay at the Inn was cozy and comfortable. “The wine was nice, the popcorn palate cleanser was a different take which I appreciated. We brought our own meat/cheese spread which went well. The service was good and there was a nice view. Our party left with 4 bottles of semi-sweet wine. This was our 4th stop of the day so my grandmother sat this one out and had a nice nap in the rocking chair.“

“If your looking for a place with excellent tasting wine, a gorgeous view of the lake, a super friendly, casual, fun vibe and exceptional service this is THE PERFECT place!! I grew up right in the finger lakes with wineries within walking distance from me and this place is the best by far! They have delicious varieties of wine that will please any palate! The owner was there and made sure everything was exceptional! While we were enjoying our tastings, he would check in and ask questions to see how we liked them, after giving him feedback he gave us each another sample of a wine he suggested based on each of our unique palates and likings and he was SPOT ON for each of us! He was so friendly! You can tell how much he takes pride in everything not just the wine but also the service and the overall vibe and ambience. Making sure everyone feels comfortable, laid back, and happy. We had such a great time there that we left with bottles and HAD to come back the next day for the outdoor wood burning pizza oven and more wine with our families and kids. When we got there he welcomed us and gave our kids some juice packets! We played with our kids in the huge lawn/hill, sat in the Adirondack chairs enjoying our pizza, wine and the gorgeous view! Life couldn’t get any better than that! That place was the highlight of our family vacation! If you’re in the area and you don’t check it out you’re missing out.“

What impressed us most was the exceptional customer service. I accidentally left behind a cover-up, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure it was safely returned to me. Their kindness and attention to detail were greatly appreciated.

“We stopped in yesterday and had a nice bottle of wine. Assistant Wine Maker Rhett Seeley stopped by to chat. Never met him before, but he was passing by and we asked him for some recommendations. He was extremely helpful and friendly. We ended up buying the wines he recommended as well as some beautiful garlic, a bag of coffee and some wine glasses! They are known for their dry reds and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend adding Hector Wine Company to your list of stops along the wine trail.“
