This past weekend we visited Lamoreaux for a wine tasting. Keep in mind it is winter and slow season. Some places in the area had also closed due to the weather but they had stayed open and I am so glad we had the chance to do a tasting here. The location itself is beautiful. We always love visiting this winery when we are in the finger lakes. The wine is excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable.
Delicious wines! We don’t typically like Chardonnay but were huge fans of the unoaked Chardonnay that Ashley recommended we try as well as the Merlot! Ashley was super sweet and very knowledgeable!

Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars offers a beautiful and informative wine tasting experience. The facility provides water and a glass-rinsing bucket, allowing visitors to pace themselves. The knowledgeable staff guide guests through a selection of wines, including a highly-praised Chardonnay, Rieslings, and Gewürztraminers. The scenic Seneca Lake views complement the winery's offerings, making it a recommended stop. Visitors can enjoy flexible tasting options and some light nibbles like a sliced baguette to accompany the wines. The staff is impeccable, and the wines are fabulous with excellent prices, allowing guests to walk out with many bottles to enjoy. Customers can also learn interesting things about the Finger Lakes region and different places to visit. This establishment has been heads above most of the rest in the region for close to 20 years. Lamoreaux is the real thing, with probably the best reds around. Some very good wines are available, including the dry riesling and dry rose of pinot noir. Excellent sparkling wines are also offered. Delicious wines and great views are enjoyed with super-friendly staff. They have very knowledgeable staff performing the tastings. What sets them apart from their competitors is their ICE WINE, which is nice that they can be included in the tasting if your choosing.
