“Rock Stream was our first stop for our 2024 wine tour weekend with a group of 30. They were amazing!!! They not only welcomed our group, but they provided excellent service and had a great organization. The wine, beer and spirits were loved by all. They were also very welcoming when our group wanted to hang out and have a drink or two. We enjoyed the fire rings on the patio, chatted with the owner and workers and had a great experience. Thank you Rock Stream, we will be back!!“

“Shaw is a hidden gem of the Finger Lakes Region. The wines are absolutely exceptional and probably some of the biggest, full bodied, red wines in the state. The tasting is personalized with ample opportunity to ask questions about the grapes, the farming practices, and the wine making styles. What makes Shaw stand out from other wineries is that the wines you're given to taste are older, with a fair bit of bottle aging already done. This gives them a deepness and complexity not often found in this price point (FLX or elsewhere).
If you are looking for a stop on Seneca to drink wine quickly, with stunning aesthetics, and a place to party at, this is not the place for you. However if you want a taste of just how exceptional wines from this region can be, this has to be on your itinerary.“

“My husband and I had lunch at the Cafe in early November. We had a beautiful view of the lake from inside.
The cafe menu is extensive and prices are reasonable. My husband had a burger and I had a delicious salad. We shared a flight of wine. The portion of wine for the flight was at least double other wineries.
We will definitely return to Wagner.“
“Made a tasting appointment for the early afternoon and Juan was an amazing server. He steered us on an amazing path and described the wines in great detail. On our last round of tastings we let him choose for us and he got it right. We also got the meat and cheese board for $16 which was a must. Clean and modern atmosphere with an amazing riesling selection. We were also able to purchase bottles of wine after our tasting was over. Would definitely return again especially if Juan is working!

“We just had the best experience! The staff were very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. The food and wine were excellent. They open at 11 which suits us as we are always early. It is the first time we have eaten in the winery, although we have been to the restaurant several times. The young lady who waited on us in the restaurant suggested we get a table in the winery while our lunch was being prepared to make sure we got a table. We had a nice glass of wine and tasted several and we ended up buying two. The host and hostess in the winery was great, knowledgeable and very friendly. Our lunch was delivered in a timely manner and a smile. We highly recommend this for brunch/lunch and also for take out.“
“while I understand there are rules for large groups over six, the staff was extremely rude and made us feel unwelcome.we were told we could wait for a group to clear out. when we approached the bar to look at the selection we were told we couldn't stand there. per the website groups of of 11-20 recommend a reservation, but state it's not required.very rude staff, not friendly at all. won't be back!“

“Wonderful experience today! This was our first time here and I’m so glad we stopped. The corn fritters with chipotle butter were insanely delicious. We also had the smoked turkey sub (special), mussels, and wedge salad. Hats off to the chefs for their talent and creativity. Our server, Delainey was warm, friendly, and efficient. Despite it being very busy, she maintained her calm demeanor. Well done! Thanks for a lovely lunch.“

“Love this precious hippie like winery! I first came here over 10 years ago and fell in love. Came back today and although some things were changed, it’s still the same fun vibe! Lots of colors and cute decor with lots of activities! Plenty of types of wine to drink. It is all a little bit on the sweeter side. Even though they say some wine is dry… it’s not THAT dry. All delicious though! I suggest trying a few flights to find what you like.“
“Beautiful winery. I love how the tasting can be curated to your preference you can choose 2.5 oz carafe pours and share with your party. Juan was our server and he was very knowledgeable. We had a small hiccup with our bill but that was quickly resolved with the employees. Would definitely come back!!“
“My wife and I visited Atwater Vineyards at the recommendation of another winery owner, and we were so happy we came by for a tasting. We met with George, who was so knowledgeable about the wines and enriched our tasting experience. Getting to enjoy the wines is one thing, but we both love to learn about the wines, the process, history, region, and the other factors that go into the making of the wines themselves. We learned so much from George.
Many of the whites were fantastic, but I particularly enjoyed their new 2023 Riesling, and we also liked the Pinot Gris (not a wine we have very often). We also purchased bottles of the Cabernet Franc and the Chardonnay Reserve. My wife is not normally a fan of Chardonnay, so the fact that she enjoyed it that much speaks volumes.
The view is also fantastic. We truly enjoyed our visit and we loved George's hat so much, we bought ones for ourselves as well.“
“You won’t regret stopping here. We had the sweet flight and shared.nice size samples. We walked out with one of each and a few doubles. I however don’t like sparkling wine but that’s a personal preference. Finger lakes has so many wineries this is one I wouldn’t skip. Friendly hostess and clean environment with a few gifts on the shelves.“
“Stopped here as we drove through on our way home from vacation. We did a tasting and were very impressed with the wines and with our server Grace. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the wines on the tasting as well as some others we asked about, and was friendly and fun to talk with as well. A great experience.“
“My son,daughter in law, husband and I stopped in impromptu on a rainy afternoon in May. The folks there were pleasant and helpful and a joy to talk to. The wine was wonderful! We recommend the Nectar and the Cranberry if you like a sweeter wine. Wonderful experience!“
“We stopped in yesterday and had a nice bottle of wine. Assistant Wine Maker Rhett Seeley stopped by to chat. Never met him before, but he was passing by and we asked him for some recommendations. He was extremely helpful and friendly. We ended up buying the wines he recommended as well as some beautiful garlic, a bag of coffee and some wine glasses! They are known for their dry reds and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend adding Hector Wine Company to your list of stops along the wine trail.“

“Great winery! Love stopping here when we’re on the west side of the lake. The sweet wines are fruity delights. They had a selection of 5 slushies, one nonalcoholic. The porch/patio seating area has a great view of the lake. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable.“

“The building and set up were a little different. Not focused on the view of the lake like most others in the area but we loved the place so much we went twice. The hosts and wine were amazing the first time. The second was a stop for their amazing mulled wine after a cold wet motorcycle ride back from niagara falls. We also ended up trying the pickle pairing that was way better than expected. Such a great place.“
