“This is a great winery located on Seneca lake. The two gentlemen working the tasting bar were very knowledgeable and friendly. It's the only winery that we have been to that served popcorn with the tasting. It actually paired well with the wine we tasted. I would recommend this winery for anyone visiting the Finger Lakes.“

It just took too long to get started. A 12:15 reservation, arrived early, didn't have wine until 12:40 +/-.
But the wine! So good. Every glass was unique and representative of the variety or blend. I'm not kidding. Vi joined the club and walked out with 18 bottles.

“We did a number of tastings during our recent Seneca Lake visit. This was hands down our favorite. Our server was knowledgeable and personable. We felt like welcomed guests visiting new friends. Their dry reds were a definite standout. Looking forward to our next visit.“

Great wines- we always stop here and buy a few bottles! They save their vintage and release older wines which are so tasty! Love, love, love that this is a father-son team and one of them is always there to greet us! Nice to meet the owners and see that they really love what they do!“

“My wife and I had an awesome afternoon at Ryan William Vineyard yestarday. Stopped here after hking and shared a bottle of wine and some really delicuos food. The Corn and Chicken Chowder was outstanding. You could taste the local ingredients. Also had their Hot Link sausage and it was great! Shawn took care of us and he was very freidnly and knowledgable about their wines. The view is outstanding. Highl;y recommend!!“

“We've been to Standing Stone 3 times now. Their tasting house provides near- panoramic views overlooking Seneca Lake, with a cozy covered porch. They have a variety of locally made snacks available for purchase, which makes for light lunch to go with your flight of wines. We're partial to their chardonnay. Staff is very attentive.“

“Delicious burger and wine pairing! Give Red Newt a try for your next weekend lunch, you'll be glad you did! I had the newt burger with fries and a glass of Red Eft. The local ingredients create a hearty meal that fueled me rather than weighed me down. Can't wait to try another burger or a grilled cheese and soup. They put an elegant twist on all they do with bright and friendly staff.“

He was extremely helpful and friendly. We ended up buying the wines he recommended as well as some beautiful garlic, a bag of coffee and some wine glasses! They are known for their dry reds and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend adding Hector Wine Company to your list of stops along the wine trail.“

“I love the fruit wines. I know they are essentially juice, but they are delicious. The tasting experience was fun, it is far less formal compared to other places. However, I loved that. We tasted our wines quickly, bought a bottle (very affordable) of our favorite wine, and then enjoyed it and the view. That is the best way to enjoy Glenora.“
