Excellent wine tasting and excellent wine knowledge information given. If you want a tour as well as tasting, you have to reserve ahead of time, however you can have a tasting and walk thru by yourself without a official tour.
The owner was very knowledgeable. The wine is amazing.
You won't be disappointed. Very nice people proud of what they do.

Ports of New York Winery offers a warm and engaging tasting experience with a knowledgeable owner who provides a full tour and shares his expertise. The winery features a wide range of flavors, including some off dry wines and dessert wines, as well as a standout white wine. Visitors can enjoy a touch of Normandy in the Finger Lakes region with the winery's handcrafted, aromatic wines. The owner's passion for winemaking and vintage equipment adds a special touch, making each visit memorable. The wines are outstanding, and the personal experience with the guide is often described as top notch. This winery in downtown Ithica is in a beautiful building and has a small wine museum inside. Frederic, the owner, is very passionate and knowledgeable about the history of wine and winemaking, and explained very well. The tasting menu is small but wonderful.
