Lovely bartender, very nice selection of beers, pretty crowd. Really need to chill on the popcorn salt though!“

“This is the bar I've been looking for since I moved to Ithaca. The bartender is friendly and funny. Drinks are reasonably priced (a rarity in this neighborhood) but there's still a large selection. The music playing was great, and the game was on a big screen TV right behind the bar, though I still spent a lot of time chatting with the people sitting next to me. I had a great time, and I'm looking forward to stopping in again.“

“long time patron, hell I had a shot at the Chanti the day I turned 21. Played so many games on that table, and been chastised at other bars for the red chalk left on my cues. the staff over the years became friends. it WAS a place I would recommend, but not now. Not with what they've done here to the existing staff. Lost a lifetime customer with that move. #NeverAgain just asking, for friend, what were you thinking?“

“Great Red Curry dish over rice with chicken. It will be hard to opt for something different on my next visit. Although while gazing at dishes as servers delivered them to nearby tables it appears I will have to try everything eventually. Interesting cocktail list, spirits and spirit free.

The staff training is excellent. Consistently friendly and helpful.

The food is tasty. Filling. Probably high calorie, high fat. You want a Chili's meal? Go to Chili's. You want healthy vegan food? Ithaca has lots of other places for that.

Some of the specials are a very good value. The old 3-for-$10 special is gone; it's now $11 and has a limited choice of entrees. It's still a good value, and the hamburger may be the best in Ithaca.

Consider what's on the TV screens before you sit, and ask to sit facing something you want to see. Otherwise (perish the thought) you'll have to make conversation with your tablemates...unless you brought a smartphone.“
