“I stop here everytime I travel into the area. Have always wanted to try your mac n cheese varieties, but haven't wanted it as an entire meal. It would be really cool if you had mac n cheese as a side or as an appetizer, or to go extreme give people an option to do a "flight" of mac n cheese like some breweries do.“

“Heard so many great things about this place. We came and off the bat the lights are SO bright. When I’m at a bar I don’t want to feel like I’m in a doctors office. So we went outside. Ordered drinks and spinach dip. The drinks and view are wonderful. The three stars. The FOOD was atrocious. The spinach dip was all cream cheese and cold. We joked that it was a college kid with a microwave in the kitchen. Sure enough when the sun set and we could see in the kitchen with the fluorescent lighting that yes indeed. It’s a kid with a microwave. Come for the drinks and view. DO NOT EAT.“
“I am originally from the Southern Tier but left thirty years ago. While home for the holidays I asked who was serving up the best wings these days, Elbow Room or Bernie Murrays, I was surprised to hear both places have fallen and are hit or miss at best. A friend said, its a drive but try the Town Tavern so my wife and I went and found the pub, the atmosphere was ok, lots of people having fun. There was a GREAT BAND playing called Major Big Time and they really rocked the house and had people dancing and drinking up.We came for the wings and ordered, I got dozen with the house sauce and my wife was tempted by the Bacon Double Burger. After a short wait the food arrived and oh... my.... gawd..... the wings were absolutely HUGE and meaty (the Cincinnati area could learn a lesson or two here) and cooked to crispy perfection, the house sauce was amazingly good, not too sweet, not too hot but they found the spot right in the middle and it was absolutely delicious. My wife loved the double bacon burger, saying the patties were perfectly cooked and the bacon was exceptional.I highly recommend the Town Tavern, it is absolutely delicious food served with a smile. On my next trip to visit family, I know where I am going for a plate of wings.“
“I go for their food. It is very reasonably priced and of good quality. You can call ahead for take out (or eat in). When I've called in for take out it is generally ready and hot when I get there.There is limited parking out front, plus street parking.There is an outdoor seating area as well.Customer service has always been good. But, sometimes it's hard to get someone to answer the phone for a take out order. Wish they had an answering machine!“

“Super neat place! The chicken sandwich with coleslaw on it is KILLER and the pretzel bites with beer cheese are super good. The beer cheese is nicer than normal nacho cheese. Mild bone in wings were chrispy on the outside and tender inside, and still had a kick to them. Hamburger steak and the gravy with it was good too! Waitress was super friendly, attentive and speedy. Will absolutely be back for that chicken sandwich again lol!“
“Delicious food and a great atmosphere inside the restaurant. The staff is always polite and treat you with respect and serve your food in a timely manner. Their food is always our family's go to. My favorite is their lobster Mac & Cheese and their chicken wings.“
“A nice local bar with good food. I just had a dressed burger well done with chips..simple fare, but good. Mixed drinks were good. Service (one orders at the bar, but the food is brought to you) was good. They were known for their wings in the past, but we didn't get any that evening.“
“A great Home town bar. Recently expanded, they offer up a lot of good local Bands.It's located in Hanover Square in Horseheads NY. They close off the square for their annual Holly Days festival. Great to see old friends and family.Great band, "Still Kicken", had us all Rocking til midnight.“
